    Upstairs material.

We purchased our bamboo flooring from iFloor in Mukilteo. While at the warehouse, we scheduled a quote with Richard. On the selected quote day, Richard was running late due to another quote that was in progress. Richard was courteous enough to give us a call to inform us of his late arrival. The quote took about 45 minutes with all of my questions. Richard was honest and provided several options while working the quote. Richard stated that the job would take 3 days. iFloor provided the quote results in less than 24 hours. We were happy with the quote so we placed our order on 1/27/2106. Our credit card (Discover) was billed to hold two different amounts of money, one for the material and the other for Richard's labor. On 2/19/2016 Richard delivered all of the material and my Discover was charged for material. The wood needed to acclimate for a minimum of 3 days before installation so we scheduled installation for 2/22/2016. On 2/22/2016 my Discover was billed for labor charges. For three days Richard and a crew of one arrived at my house at 8:00am and worked non-stop until 4:30pm-5:00pm. Richard did a great job in covering my kitchen area to avoid as much dust as possible. All old material was hauled away (carpet and vinyl). Richard and his crew made sure my home was cleaned of all debris before leaving on the last day. No damage was incurred during the floor installation. I appreciate that the job was completed within the 3 days that were quoted. Since I'm new to our hardwood flooring investment, I asked several questions, often more than once. Richard was patient with me and helped me with cleaning agents, warping possibilities due to temperatures and even provided me with the color of stain pen that I would need to fill in any future scratches and dings. We spent a small fortune on our new floors but every time I walk on them I can't help but fall in love with them all over and over again. They're beautiful. Labor charges are expensive; however, my knees and back started hurting just from watching the installation process. No thank you. Thank you Richard for being honest, patient, timely and lastly skillful. When the time comes to floor my three additional rooms, I know who I will be contacting.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Richard came by the first time around to inspect my condo & to take measurements. He did mention that we needed to level some parts of the floor which would cost me $2,000 more than the advertised $1,000 price for the Floor Installation. So I asked about the promotion advertised on AngiesList which says $750 for Floor Installation and he replied saying that he'll honor that if I do the floor leveling. I said that wasn't fair but I needed the floor leveled anyways. A week later we scheduled the installation. He shows up with two other employees & takes almost an hour to get everything out the van & says that he has an issue with the new vacuum that he just bought. When we got upstairs and he looked at the floors again with my furniture removed he started making up excuses saying that the job might require more, and that he might need an extra day to think about it. I asked if the price that we discussed was an issue & he immediately stopped me & said that he doesn't want to discuss price in front of his employess. He then asked his employees to go outside so that he can talk to me. Then he somehow brought up drugs & how his employees were ex drug addicts and to make sure not to bring anything like that up. WHAT?! Do I look like I use drugs to you?!.. Completely unprofessional person and seems VERY SHADY. At the end of it all, he told me that he would call me the next day to discuss things further & said that because we didn't start the day before that I had to wait another month for them to have a spot open to work on my place. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, WHEN HE WAS SHOWING ME MY FLOORS NOT BEING LEVELED, HE RUINED & BROKE A VINYL PLANK. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL & DOES NOT SEEM LIKE HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. Stay away & do not hire!

The team worked efficiently, skillfully, and ahead of schedule! It seems like Eagle Construction can build anything you ask them to. Doru is someone I can trust. He stayed in close communication throughout the entire process, always taking the time to answer our questions. As someone who pays close attention to detail, I especially appreciated his precision and craftsmanship. I am so glad we went with him, and his pricing was fair. What stood out most was his honesty and thorough approach. We had reached out to several contractors for quotes, but Doru was the only one who took the time to measure our space accurately and fully understand what we wanted. He never pressured us into additional work and instead offered thoughtful guidance and expert recommendations. Despite working quickly, the final result was of quality and what we envisioned. I would absolutely hire Eagle Remodel again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, detail-oriented work, and people you can trust.

In short, we have nothing but good things to say about Doru and this company and MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND you consider them for your next flooring job.

He was also very good at fitting the new AC into the space for the old one and ensuring it was sealed and weather proofed. However, when he finished the work, he left large boxes and packing materials scattered where he opened them and filling our kitchen floor and on the dining room table. He didn't do anything to organize the mess or break down the boxes. He said most of it was recyclable and he wouldn't do anything with it. Left us to clean up after he left and figure out how to manage and get rid of these large heavy boxes. Additionally, he had put the old AC on our deck. We asked if he would recycle the old AC and he agreed - charging us an additional $200 to take it. When he put it on our deck, it left piles of black (not sure what) that we had to clean after he left. Additionally, I had purchased a new bracket to support the new air-conditioner. He decided without consulting me to use the old bracket instead. (Hopefully it last for the long run!)

Dec 16, 2020, Hired Mike Howard to repair structural damaged to my home caused by extensive dry rot…read moredamage. This was not a trivial job. The dry rot had compromised a main structural corner beam which supported the second story. The repair would first require building a temporary support to hold up the second story while removing the damaged support beam and replacing all of the dry rot wood. The repair process required first coordinating with a structural engineer to design a repair plan and then with the Snohomish County office to issue a repair permit. Mike was very helpful through the entire process. Mike was confident that he could perform the repair safely and within code without an engineering drawing, but suggested that the drawing would likely be required for the county to issue the permit. I decided to get the engineering drawing and Mike was right. The county flat out said that this repair required an engineering review and drawing. I told Mike I would hire him for the job, but only after I saw and understood what the repair plan entailed. Mike met with the engineer to discuss the repair job and then Mike outlined for me exactly how he would complete the repair. While listening to Mike explain the repair process it was apparent to me that he completely understood the structural design of a home. Having a contractor with this type of experience and knowledge was the only way I would go. Mike was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my questions with integrity and no BS. I decided to take the 2 days off to watch the work performed. Mike had no issues with this. He discussed the work while it was in process and I always felt comfortable with his decisions and confidence. The work was done in accordance to the engineering drawing and the permit was signed off and closed without any issues. The images show the before and after work, minus the exterior wall board nailed up. I decided to repair the drywall and brickwork myself. Thanks for a wonderful job and experience Mike.

We were looking for years, and absolutely fell in love with the place they built. While I can't comment on the working relationship, I can can comment on their quality of outcome, which is stellar. Gas line? Hot water recirc? Heated flooring? Large overhangs? Pushing your space to the legal height limits? Balconies, induction stoves, floor to ceiling Anderson doors and spacious windows or open concept living areas? Glass garage doors? Garappa platform decking? Energy recovery ventilator? Electric car charging? Mini split AC? Everything is beautiful, everything works, and we're super happy with the end result. Is it perfect? No. Is anything ever perfect? Also no. Has every inspector or tradesman we've hired made an unsolicited comment on the build quality? Yes. Has that happened to our friends or family? No, definitely not with this unprompted consistency. While we have some settlement problems with the flooring, issues with some appliances, some scraping on the balcony doors, and the drainage pump should have used waterproof wing nuts (also the float valves easily get caught), overall it's a supremely complex 5 story build with stellar results. We're only a year in, so we'll see how it goes, but so far so great.
