They even have a small retail section of reloading supplies. I have used the range several times during the past year and it's always neat and clean. I've seen some reviews complaining about the target equipment...well, I don't think it's reasonable to blame the establishment because some shooters throw wild shots that damage the equipment. I've always been able to find a lane with working equipment. I do wish shot shells were allowed for use on the range, but again, I understand why they are not. The damage they potentially cause is more than most similar businesses could or should accept. It's a reasonable limitation. I've taken one class (LEOSA CCW renewal) and it was excellent. I plan to enroll my wife in a 1 on 1 training session soon. If that goes well, my daughter will be next.

The last place we decided to visit was Broughton Firearms. It's out in the country on a beautiful newly paved road and easy to find with GPS if you don't know the area. When we arrived we were really impressed with the property and headed down the long drive to the store. We walked in and were stunned to see the largest collection of Class 3 firearms either of us has ever seen! James welcomed us in and let us check out the rental guns as well as those for sale. We had a great conversation and learned a little about each other as we looked through a solid variety of rifles, shotguns and handguns for sale, both new and used. He also had ammo available for very reasonable prices, binoculars, scopes and various optics. My attention was held by the various full-auto firearms available to shoot. By the way, it's only $10 to bring your guns and ammo and shoot on their range! Very reasonable and there are plenty of hanging steel plates to shoot! We didn't have time to shoot today, but we will definitely be back soon! James is very friendly and was happy to chat with us about various guns and gun issues. It was hard to leave without buying a gun! I bought some ammo and we headed home. As I said, we will definitely be back! The Gun Crew took a rifle in on consignment and posted it on an auction site with no reserve price…read more They listed the gun with 3 magazines. These magazines are $35 a piece. I bought the gun for $765 under MSRP. They shipped it to my FFL dealer and I picked the gun up. I saw there was only 1 magazine with the gun but didn't sweat it because I thought they would make it right. I called them and told them the issue. They said they made a mistake and there was only 1 magazine. He offered to send me a shipping label and they would offer me a full refund. I told them I didn't want that and just wanted the gun and magazines that I bought, as they had listed it. They said they didn't have them and couldn't get them. I told them they had access to the internet and the magazines were in stock on all of the websites I checked. I told them it was not fair that I should be out money for my FFL transfer fees just because they made a mistake. These guys offered to pay my FFL fees and to pay shipping for me to send the gun back. I told them I already shot the gun and did not want to send it back to them. They were willing to be out over $100 just so they could get the gun back and then resell it for more (probably could make another $300 on it). I even offered to meet in the middle and take one magazine. They again refused. They only wanted to get the gun back so they could resell the gun and make more money on it. Very disappointing they would not do the right thing. They just wanted to leverage their mistake to make more money. When I pointed all this out the gun on the other line got real quiet and didn't even refute it. I really expect more from a gun dealer. I just wanted to rifle and magazines that were listed in the auction. This is the "cost of doing business" for these guys. If the business makes a mistake then they have to eat the cost, not the buyer/customer.
