After living in California nearly my entire life, my wife and two children decided last year to move to Arizona. We were vacationing in Scottsdale in August the year before (yes, it was "warm" - but we loved it) when we decided to start looking for a home in the Scottsdale or Gilbert area. We were concerned that we needed to locate a really GREAT local mortgage broker, in that we would be doing most of the real estate transaction work on a property we located in the Seville Golf and Country Club area while still living in California, and not being able to drive down to our mortgage broker's office to complete written documentation, etc. would therefore make the transaction a bit more complicated. We decided to work with Dallin, and we could not have been more pleased with ALL of the service we received from Dallin and his Team. Dallin was on top of every single detail, finding us a great mortgage and rate to begin with and then working to help us close the transaction in super-fast time. He worked seamlessly with our realty team in California as we sold our home in that location, as well as with our HOMESMART realty team in Gilbert, and we truly appreciated the ongoing communication to let us know each and every time there was some movement in the transaction or about some detail that needed attention. Dallin even advised us in the middle of the process that he could get the initial mortgage interest rate lowered even more, and worked to do so. This created more work on his end, but he quickly moved and secured the lower rate. We had already agreed to the initial higher rate and would not have thought twice about it, but Dallin was on top of it. I cannot even begin to explain the frustrations we had before being given Mary Vrana's number at Sun America. We initially went through another lender (a large well known one who we thought was the best) who basically offered us the "bells and whistles" then said they couldn't make the deal a week before we were supposed to close. Mary stated she would look over everything and if she thought there was an issue she wouldn't run our credit again and if she thought she could make the deal happen then only then would she run it. She was prompt in getting back to us knowing how on edge we were from our last experience and with twins on the way and a house already packed up. She had an event to go to and was running late but took the time to call me at 7pm and tell me she had looked it all over and definitely thought they could make it work. I need a mortgage loan almost desperately!! I will barely qualify for a loan. I called Sun american and talked to Michael Chalker. We talked on the phone for over an hour about every detail in the application process. He knew all along that him being in Arizona and me in Chicago that he couldnt help me because of the licence requirements. I give him a FIVE STAR rating because even though he knew this all along he still took the time to teach me alot about my loan application.
