I came to this location to handle some business. Getting started and settled in a new place is stressful enough, and worrying about finances is the last thing you need. I got a new credit card because of the awesome promo they had going on. Denzel helped me out and not only was he professional and polite, he really listened to me. He helped me get approved in a matter of minutes and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes. I've never been to a Navy Federal that I didn't like. I just want to say that whenever I walk in the doors of this place they always make me feel like I'm the most important person there ever was. They're friendly kind and considerate. They see to the needs of those that they serve without asking questions. I'm a head injury person and I go to them because I know they know who I am and they know how to help me personally and that's what's great about these guys they do help me with the things I need not what everybody else needs. They're great at what they do and they do it in such a way that they don't make you feel stupid or belittled in any way. I really am thankful for such a great group of people that I can count on for my finances and for looking out for me which they have done multiple times! Reader beware: I'm biased toward credit unions in general. I prefer credit unions to banks because their mission is non-profit and member-focused. Credit unions generally don't charge fees for checking accounts; their loan and credit card interest rates are usually better. I first joined Navy Federal Credit Union when I was in the Marine Corps, and after my enlistment ended, I closed the account. That was one of the dumbest things I've ever done! Thankfully, a friend told me that Navy Federal opened their membership up to Veterans, so you don't have to be Active Duty or Reserves to join. The staff at this location are friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. I recommend this location and Navy Federal in general! A solid 5 stars! read more

This branch is remodeling in the most inefficient way. 6 people are standing/sitting around talking outside waiting for anyone that might show up to get a loan. Meanwhile 1 teller is trying to keep up with 2 drive through lanes. The people outside aren't allowed to process anything that isn't loan related. They have 2 atms one is turned off, why would it be off? There isn't another location within an hours drive to do deposits/withdrawals etc! read more

Don't use this bank!! I just called and spoke with Jule in advanced digital services and got yelled at because I wanted to speak with a supervisor. She, by far, was the nastiest bank representative I have ever dealt with. Then, when I finally got a supervisor Clark, he basically said he didn't care and I could write a letter. Time to bank somewhere else someplace who values their customers. I wasn't even asking for her supervisor because of her it was because of the bank losing or holding my money from a Zelle I sent. Now I have no access to my fund until they decide I can and they don't care enough to figure out why it is being held there is no fraud alert on it so no reason it should be held for more than 24 hrs read more

Too many fees. They actually have more fees than you experience with big bank branches. I do not recommend this bank at all.

This a a credit union, but like many, it isn't actually that much better than a bank. They still have many of the fees and other things that people don't like about the big banks. They also only accept the armed forces and their family members but recently changed this to only include those with immediate family in the military. I was able to get an account due to having a veteran grandparent but now I wouldn't be able to get an account if I were to sign up for one now. It's a little better than other banks and credit unions but not by much. read more

This afternoon about 1pm, was my first time into this branch over here by Greenfield in the 60 freeway, and I was met and greeted promptly by a woman in the front who was friendly and helpful. Second after I was greeted and signed in, I waited for the credit union representative to help me. Daniel, came to greet me & brought me back. He was such a gentleman, extremely courteous & attentive. I had a wonderful experience, which is great, being that I'm a new member. He was most accommodating! Lastly I went up to the front and one of the tellers assisted me with making a deposit. I asked if she would assist me with writing down my account numbers, since I didn't have them to memory, and she gladly assisted me and wrote them down for me! We love Navy Federal. My husband and I went to get a car loan and it was so easy. We sat down with Flor K, she asked us a few questions. Within a couple minutes our loan was approved with an amazing interest rate. She printed out the check and we were on our way. 20 minutes at most from start to finish. Worse ever. Carrie & Lindy will judge you and discriminate against you simply because they have no idea what customer service is all about. Always at least a 45 minute wait to see a banker. Bad service and no one cares..... avoid ever doing business here especially if you are a senior or have a loved one who is up in years. As they have no idea how to deal with the aging population and they refuse to believe family is helping. The Attorney General needs to be made aware of their practices. A disgraceful bank. read more

I've used this location since the day it opened. Until the remodeling nightmare this past year, the management has changed and treat you like you're about to rob the place. The manager I believe the red head lady, is very rude and cold. My entire family has navy federal since the day I joined the military. The greenfield location can take notes from the Phx location on camelback along the 51, they've always treated me respectfully, and genuine. Compared to the greenfield location, it's obvious that management is trash. read more

The supervisor staff is absolutely useless, i was on the phone with a natalie who was supposed to help with a banking error made on THEIR end and she was nothing but unprofessional and rude while on the phone she told me "there is nothing i can do on my end, besides talk to you" How is that customer service at all. she has zero ability and from what i have noticed aptitude to accomplish more than lifting a phone from a desk. read more

Consistent great customer service. Front end staff are cordial at the very least. Knowledgeable staff. Physical location is a bit of a drive for us. Hence only 4 Star. However, they offer other conveniences that other banks or CU we used to do business with. Fees are also minimal in contrast to the other financial institutions we used to bank with. I've been with BofA for nearly 10yrs. Check/Sav/CC. They also provide my FICO score updated monthly. 750. I own my home outright. Car paid for but getting old. I make a respectable salary that's directly deposited into checking acct. like clockwork for years. Applied for a car loan. Denied. Asked to have my CC limit raised (a whole $400 bucks) so I keep my utilization down. Denied. I randomly walk into an NFCU after BofA treating me like a clean cut transient and boom! Was your father in the military? Yes! Please deposit $5 to become a member and open up a savings. Ok. You'd like an auto loan.? Yes. Interest rate is 3.79% and you can borrow up to 24k. I opened a checking acct too and will be transferring my business to NFCU. And not electronically. BofA charges $3bucks unless you do bill pay and wait 5 biz days while your $ floats in the air. read more

I can't thank Flor enough she went above and beyond to help resolve my power of attorney issues. I have visited the bank three times for this same issue without any other banker helping me! Flor spent over 2 and half hours on the phones and most of it was waiting on hold with the security deparment, she didn't hang up she remained patient and waited until everything was cleared. I can't explain what a blessing she has been to me, she provided the best customer service and your other employees should learn from her. The two previous bankers didn't even waste 5 min of their time, instead they sent me out the door telling me that someone will email me, Not Flor she took her time, she filled out the neccesary forms, sent over my ID I'm so thankful for her. I am a bit frustrated that it took three trips and I'm shocked that the previous bankers didn't have me fill any forms or send in an ID, but she made sure I left with money in my hand. Like all Navy Federals, this one treats you with respect. Never had a bad experience and do lots of business with them. I'm not sure what that one commenter below said about fees etc. I've never paid any fees at all with Navy Federal as they have the fewest fees and most free things out of any bank/credit union out there. Free checking, savings, atm... best rates on other financial products... so definitely don't want to misinform out there. It doesn't get much better than Navy Federal as far as handling your day to day money goes. What makes me come back every time are the great people that work there and that are always willing to help fix a problem and make things right if there is any confusion. read more

We came in at 130 they close at 2 on Saturday. We were told 13 people were ahead of us. There was only five, and a couple of them looked like they were together. We were told the wait time was going to be two hours. She was panicked and looked like she wanted to get the hell out of there, but we decided to try and wait. It couldn't possible take two hours to process the people that were waiting. Apparently she was right. They only had one guy working with people, even though there was four tellers, and he was so slow. This guy spent 35 minutes on a couple. When we left he was still dealing with them. This beach needs to better prepare for the weekend and have more staff or cross train the tellers. read more

Gosh I love this bank. Today I stopped in to get approved for a vehicle loan and Kirsty took care of me. Extremely knowledgable and friendly. She explained everything in detail and covered all my options. When I left I had a check in hand and a handwritten cheat sheet she made for me while I shop for a vehicle. I have been a member of Navy Fed for a long time and This is the best financial institution I have ever used. But Veterans should not have to deal with the hassle of being treated like we are new to this bank. My wallet was stolen and I went through the process of getting everything canceled and reissued. Went to the DMV got a duplicate then went across the street to navy fed to get a new card which the rep on the phone said I was able to do. Walk they call me up and ask for my ID explained that my wallet was stolen and they cannot issue me a new card even with the damn paper from the DMV. Wtf is the point of having a access code, last 4, a code word on my account for. I wanted to cuss this chick out due to the fact where I can call and order one on the Telephone with the same info but cannot do in person. I'm pretty sure they have no clue wtf I look like over the Telephone so the whole thing with the ID after my shit being stolen and not even willing to help this Vet with anything. She literally said I can not help you but you can call this number. Does she think that I don't know that. All I'm saying is this place is dealing with Vets that may have PTSD and anger issues but turn them away wtf. read more

Absolutely miserable experience. To start my experience, I walk in to sign a check on a new loan. The lady at the front said she would be able to do it so we didn't have to wait. Well, she lied. Waiting for her for 30 minutes, we walked up to her and politely asked what was taking so long. She said we now had to see a personal banker. She just didn't care to mention that or care that we may have things to do in our lives. She said we had one person in front of us, so we waited another 45 minutes while the bankers helped 3 other people and others helped no one. The lady at the front was deceitful.
