Sun Chevrolet's service department is horrible! They over-charged me by 2.5 hours of labor on my first service visit with my brand new 2020 Corvette. I even have PDR footage proving this. I had to submit a complaint to the BBB and to GM due to their fraudulent business practices. Needless to say, avoid this place!

My husband and I just bought a brand new Tahoe from Sarah at Sun. This is a first brand new car we have brought. This is our second large SUV we brought from Sarah at Sun. Sarah goes above and beyond to make buying a car easy. My husband works out of town and we have 4 kids it's alway crazy. We have to work around my husband's travel schedule and that is difficult. She always figures everything out and makes it super easy for us. We will be back when we are ready for another vehicle.

An acceptable repair on a $75,000 car according to the Sun Chevrolet service department.

Great experience. They were straight forward about the car I bought. No double talk. The deal was fair. Didn't try to upsell anything.

He was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. The service team assessed the tire and patched it in about 35 minutes, which was much faster than I expected. I was especially happy to learn that I didn't need to purchase new tires. The level of customer service I received was outstanding, and everyone made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Thank you to Anthony and the service team for the prompt, honest, and efficient service. I look forward to returning for future maintenance and highly recommend #1 Cochran Honda to anyone looking for exceptional customer care.

I had a documented oil consumption issue with prior service at Kia Robinson, and I even followed the tow truck out myself to make sure they'd coordinate with them. They said they would. Instead, they diagnosed engine failure and told me it wouldn't be covered because I was just over 100,000 miles. No loaner, no help--just a $10,000 engine bill. When I asked why they didn't follow up with Robinson, the manager told me he "doubted" his employee ever said that and basically accused me of lying. Totally unprofessional and dismissive. They had no interest in helping or even being honest. Steer clear of this place. They'll leave you hanging the second things get serious.

The person I dealt with (Eddie) was the rudest salesperson I have ever spoken to.. I asked about a car listed online. He said it was due October 22nd. I put down $1000 deposit without receiving any form of receipt and being told it was refundable with no issues. Around the end of October I called to see if there was any information about the vehicle's status and Eddie snapped and said they'd call me when it gets here and they have no control of when the factory releases them like I was some sort of idiot. It's been a month since the 22nd and they still have the car listed on their site. I called and found a dealership willing to sell at MSRP unlike this dealership that wanted $1000. I was fine paying that if I would've actually gotten the vehicle. Today, I requested to get my deposit back and at first he said that they don't keep records of "those things" and would need my credit card information again so he could go "look it up". He said, "you will get your money back OR you know what?! You held the car for a month so we are going to hold YOUR money until the car is sold because that car gets a ton of buyers." Well, if it's so easy to sell, why is it so difficult to give the deposit? I asked if they would refund me when a new deposit is placed to which he responded with, "THIS IS WHY WE DONT SELL TO OUT OF STATE BUYERS". Then repeated himself three times that I would get my money when the car is sold.

They finally came back with a deal he liked, but wanted to think it over. Filled out credit and had the price, payment, and interest rate. Not long after, he called and said he would take it and made plans to get it the next day after 5 pm. The next day, he got a call from them saying they couldn't sell it to him because they didn't have the title. They adertise a car for sale and DON'T know they don't have the title! I called to talk to a manager , and he was very unprofessional and stating that "because I know so much about the car business, which I answered you have no clue as to what experience I have". I checked their website earlier, and the car was removed . After our conversation, I checked back and they had it listed for sale. HOW do you advertise a car that you just said you couldn't sell. At the very least, they could try to remove the hit his credit took for a deal they couldn't do or try to offer him another deal for their mistake.

What I wish I had know then was how little the dealership or "corporate" cares about their customers. This past January, I brought my car to my local Autobody (VW dealership is too far for me) for my yearly inspection. The Autobody called me immediately and told me that my brakes did not pass inspection. They found this odd since my car had less than 20k miles and was just 2 years old. They called the dealership for me to order new brakes and while on the phone, somehow it luckily came up in conversation and the VW employee told them that this specific model had an extended 2 year warranty BECAUSE OF THIS EXACT ISSUE WITH THE BRAKES! He informed my Autobody to have me schedule an appointment with the dealership ASAP in order for me to get this covered. I immediately called the dealership to schedule. A friendly woman answered. I explained the entire situation, gave my name, car model, etc, and I specifically asked "i want to confirm this is covered under the warranty before I bring it out there?" She answered "correct" and said "you're all set." I drove my car out to the dealership to drop it off. When I checked in, I again said "I just want to confirm that is covered under the extended warranty" because it still felt too good to be true. The employee said "yep. 2 years or 24k miles. Let me just make sure." He then gave me the insane news- "you missed the deadline by 2 days." I couldn't believe it. I said "what do you mean?" He said "you are 2 days over 2 years since you bought your car." I then asked "why was I never notified about the issue with the brakes? I would have brought my car in immediately." And his response was "we don't have to notify you, it wasn't a recall. It was just a warranty extension" to which I responded "because you knew the brakes were bad and had issues," and he responded "well yeah." 2 days passed my 2 year mark. Significantly under 24k miles and my brakes were shot. VW offered to do NOTHING. They showed no sympathy. They had incredibly poor communication, and perhaps the first two employees just didn't even listen or actually check my file to see if it would be covered before I took it out there. Three different employees giving three different responses with the wrong information. I wasted half of my afternoon driving out there for nothing, having to reschedule work meetings and coordinate a ride home, all for nothing. The manager then just continued to blame "corporate." He said if they fixed my brakes under the warranty two days late, they'd have to eat the cost. "Corporate" would not allow it. I'd assume if I was a family member or a friend, or perhaps someone who buys more expensive cars from them, maybe he'd think differently. He just continued to say it was "corporate" who was at fault and "corporate" who would never make an exception because of money. He reiterated the fact that they'd lose money if they helped me and that corporate would make them "eat the costs," so very clear that money is their main priority. Not their customers, not the quality of their product. I have never left a review for anything before. And I'm fully aware there are rules and that my car was indeed 2 days past qualifying for the warranty. My purpose in writing this is to let anyone considering buying a VW know that once you give them your money, they don't care about your safety or well being. The fact that they were aware of brake issues in this model, yet they didn't notify their customers??? The fact that 2 employees told me I was "good to go" and would be covered, and a third employee defended VW by saying "we don't have to notify you." And "well yeah" when I said "but VW was aware of faulty brakes," is really concerning to me. If I could do it again, I would look elsewhere. I would look for a dealership that is honest, and truly cares enough about their product's reputation and their customers safety.

The gentleman I spoke with was great and genuinely helpful. The woman I spoke with felt more dismissive, which took away from the experience. When I arrived for my pickup appointment, the rep helping me was friendly and handled everything smoothly. He even gave me recommendations for local mechanics to complete my PA state inspection. I had seen reviews saying some vehicles did not pass inspection, so I took mine in right away. It passed without any issues. My appointment was at 9 AM. By 9:30 there were three other clients waiting and only one rep working. It felt like a scheduling or staffing issue, but even with that I was only there for about an hour to an hour and a half. The truck itself was in good shape and matched the listing. The interior was the real disappointment. It was not detailed at all and placing two paper mats in the front row does not count. There was dirt on the dash and in the cupholders. Almost every hard surface has a white residue on it. Having worked in the automotive industry for six years, I would never let a client drive home in a vehicle that looked like that. I will either have to pay to have it detailed or do it myself, which should not be the case Carvana. The process was convenient and the truck was as described, but the lack of interior detailing and some service inconsistencies kept this from being a higher rated experience.
