My 2018 Model 3 had held up nicely over the years, but I noticed several scratches and paint chips that could have been avoidable with the proper protection. I had no knowledge or experience with PPF or ceramic coating, so I began researching. My research advised that XPEL was the best brand; however, the most important factor was choosing a quality installer! "A mediocre installer putting XPEL on your Tesla can produce a worse result than an exceptional installer putting STEK or LLumar on it."After looking over Yelp reviews, I reached out to four of the "best" PPF installers in San Diego. Wasim of SunDiego Auto Spa responded within one hour. The others responded 4-5 days later. Wasim quickly provided quotes for full PPF, ceramic coating, and window tinting. I had to wait nearly a week to get competitive quotes from the other PPF installers, which pushed my project further out than I wanted. Upon obtaining three quotes, I visited each shop to understand their process, environment, staff, and ability to educate me about paint protection. Wasim took time to educate me about the various options, techniques, and software. He also showed me several vehicles with PPF and tint being installed. More importantly, the team was approachable, friendly, and engaging! Happy employees generally result in happy customers. My experience at the other shops felt much less engaging and educational. I was given basic information about pricing and timeline, and had to request a tour of the shop. We settled on XPEL Fusion PPF (full coverage), XPEL Premium Ceramic Coating, and XPEL Prime XR Plus window tint. The price was very competitive, and the results are outstanding! You can see the finish quality on all sections of the vehicle. SunDiego Auto Spa removed badges, trim, and wrapped edges for a virtually invisible application. Other installers simply cut around badges and trim, leaving visible seams. Wasim went above and beyond by also agreeing to install our third-party mud flaps and applying protection to our interior displays as a bonus! I would definitely recommend SunDiego Auto Spa for your project and hope to be bringing a new Rivian R2 to the shop soon!

When I told him I couldn't do it because it was too expensive, this was his reply: "When you can't find it cheap please don't reach out to use again we have waisted to much time for only a few bucks thanks Matt the owner of Mr wrap." When I purchased a new car, I immediately came back for a full front PPF and ceramic coating package. I was quoted a 2-day turnaround and promised regular updates, but communication quickly became inconsistent. After multiple delays, excuses, and missed deadlines, responsibility for my vehicle was passed between employees without clear communication. I was eventually offered a complimentary full-body PPF for the inconvenience, but despite agreeing on several deadlines, the work was never completed. One employee completely stopped responding to my calls and texts, and I later found out he was no longer with the company without my knowledge. At this point, my vehicle still does not have the promised PPF installed, the interior ceramic coating was never done, and the exterior ceramic coating wasn't even completed properly. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism throughout this process has completely destroyed my trust in the company. I'm honestly at a loss for words. UPDATE: Danny eventually got back in contact with me and finally completed the PPF work on my vehicle. Unfortunately, the quality of the install was terrible. I brought the car to multiple reputable PPF shops for inspection and received the same feedback from every single one. Several shops told me it was one of the worst PPF installations they had seen. They also pointed out that my clear coat is now lifting, and warned me that removing the PPF from my bumper will very likely peel the paint completely off, meaning I may now need to have my bumper repainted. After everything I went through with the delays, broken promises, lack of communication, and being completely ghosted, I'm now potentially dealing with paint damage caused by the improper installation itself. I have completely lost trust in this company and am extremely disappointed with how this entire situation was handled. I asked for a refund and he is purposely ignoring my messages, I don't think he realizes that I can see when he reads my messages. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS COMPANY PLEASE!!!

I ultimately submitted a design of two 24"x36" posters to them for print. I did the graphic design myself, and i messed up cleaning my birds a little, as I was rushed. If you need, Instant Signs & Prints also offers graphic design service for additional cost. They also mounted it originally for foam core, but we mounted on thin piece of wood. It was a wedding welcome sign and guest table seating. Instant Signs and Prints was also one of the more reasonably priced businesses, as fast turnaround was much more expensive at other places. To print two 24"x36" posters and mount on foam core cost around $90. The only negatives is they only open Monday-Fridays, no weekends. And parking is slightly hard as its located in a tight alley.
