I asked Ruben if it would be any problem and he said not at all! We were able to get an appointment for the very next day:) My dog has always struggled with new men being around him, and when we dropped him off to be groomed, I have to admit, I was nervous based off of his initial reaction to his new surroundings. When it came time to pick him up, he had a literal smile on his face, tail wagging, and was acting like he was at home. This is the first completely good experience I've had with a groomer in all my 6 years of owning a dog as an adult.

We had to go out of town on short notice and couldn't find anyone to care for our dog for the night. Even though they weren't officially offering boarding yet (starting April 1st--and they'll even have pet daycare - how exciting!!!), they stepped in without hesitation. They didn't just "watch" him--they came back after hours to check on him, feed him, walk him, and spend time loving on him. They even worked around our schedule so we could pick him up when we returned to town the following day much later than anticipated! From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear how much love and care they pour into what they do. We are very particular about who keeps our sweet boy, but we had complete peace of mind the entire time he was there. They treated our pup like he was their own--making sure he was comfortable, happy, and well cared for every step of the way. That kind of trust and peace of mind is truly priceless. If you're looking for a place that genuinely loves animals and provides exceptional care, I can't recommend them enough. Went back a month ago and was extremely unhappy. Whatever was sprayed on my dog after bathing and grooming made her smell absolutely amazing but a day later she had the worst skin flakes from it. She had never had that before. I had to give her a bath again to get rid of it and the irritation and inflammation it was causing my pup. I had asked for a nail trim and I had to do it again when we got home. Also, it costs additional if you want a bow for a female dog, but it's free to get an ugly bandana. I have completely changed my mind about this place. I still give 2 stars since the haircut was wonderful. Beware of that allergy-creating perfume, and also a 24-hr cancellation fee that is not posted. My husband had to call and cancel last minute since he had to work and the woman who answered stated we would be charged a cancellation fee that we were never made aware of and even though this was not in our control. They stated we now made them one client short for the day. I guess we are treated like numbers. Not a very professional place. I will take my dogs to either PetsMart from now on or the Animal Hospital on Signal Mountain.
