Love Nailtique!! I'm not a regular nail-goer, but I think I'm about to become one. The staff here are all so welcoming, conversational, and QUICK! I've had SNS manicures that take over two hours to be done. Miss Yum Yum got me out of there in an hour. I'll be back in a few weeks to go again! And the SNS manicure here is only $48! I asked them if they thought the color I had in mind would go well with my skin tone and they gave me honest feedback which I appreciate because I was honestly open to anything! They do anything you could want here, there were some teenage girls that got art on their nails while I was there, too! Clean space, friendly people, quick service, and a good product! Found this place sort of by accident but will absolutely be coming back!!! It's so beautiful and clean. The decor is very spa like and there are plenty of staff. I saw about 8-10 on the Saturday that I came. I only got a pedi and Rosa is the tech I got. She was wonderful! She made enough conversation to be friendly but also allowed me to relax and just enjoy the treat of the massage. The price was a bit higher than I'm used to paying but it may be that prices are higher in Alabama in general, as opposed to NC, where I just moved from. Either way, I'd much rather pay more for a great experience in a gorgeous salon! Very happy with the service I got today and will definitely be back for my next pedi! read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but I would like to for this nail salon because I had a really great experience. First and foremost, they didn't rush me or try to talk me out of what I wanted. They wanted to make sure they were giving me what I wanted with my, full set acrylics and my pedicure. They took the time to clean my cuticles properly on both my fingernails and my toenails. They service and quality of my manicure and pedicure was definitely worth what I paid although I wasn't expecting it to be that much. Tried this place 1.5 years ago when I gave it 2 stars for likely the worst pedicure ever. I vowed to give it a second chance and so today, I did that (my guy at my other place is on vacation). This time, I made an appointment, hoping for a different technician. I was woefully disappointed to see the same guy come to the station!!! Other technicians were lounging in pedicure chairs jibber jabbering away against super zen spa-like music. The pedicure was better this time (3.5 stars instead of 2). By the time I left, two others were getting pedicures and seemed to be regulars. Maybe I just need to request someone else. My experience was pretty awful. I wanted a French tip pedicure and manicure with acrylics on the manicure. They shaped my toes terribly the French tip was AWFUL. It looked like caterpillars on the tips. No shaping or artistic looks what do ever. I had to keep explaining what I wanted and showing pictures and they still couldn't get it right so if you want a French tip don't go here. The woman who was doing my toes was very young and seemingly new, she had to call for help several times and eventually got frustrated and just got another worker to do my nails altogether. This was my first visit and I don't think I'll be back. The workers were sweet besides the lady who did my feet, but I LOVE my French tips and I can't continue to come somewhere that can't do a simple French tip. read more

We're really lucky to have a great nail place in Cahaba Heights that doesn't completely break the bank (looking at you, Summit). $40 for a deluxe pedicure isn't that bad. They're very friendly here, too. Nancy was great. The chairs and furniture are a little run down, but the overall atmosphere is good. It's a pretty small shop. A 15 minute wait at 2 o' clock on a Saturday is not bad. Will be back. read more

I stopped by on a Friday without an appointment for an SNS manicure. I expected to wait if needed since I didn't have an appointment but the lady (who I believe was the owner) told me to choose a color and sit down. She started on my nails as if it were some sort of race to see how quickly she could finish. One of the steps of applying clear polish was a joke- she "brushed" it on as if it was a two year old with their eyes closed. Clear polish all over the sides of my fingers. I was in and out of the chair in 25 minutes- which for an SNS MANICURE is absurd. My only thought is she wanted to turn customers over as quickly as possible to get more $$ but it came at the expense of quality. After ONE WEEK, my nails are cracking, chipping and need to be redone. One week. SNS should last at least 2 and usually three weeks. When she finished and I mentioned that I had glue/clear polish all over and my nails were stuck to my skin, she told me that was normal and that it would wash off when I washed my hands. Umm...what? Quick turnover, shotty work, ZERO attention to detail. With a nail salon on almost every corner, I'll happily take my business to a place that emphasizes quality. read more

So far I have only had 1 pedicure here and it was excellent. I splurged for the added hot-stone treatment that was $40 with the basic being $30. The lady massaged my legs with oil and it felt so wonderful y'all! She could have asked me for almost ANYTHING at that moment. Then came the hot-stones and I was in la la land. Super busy salon on a Tuesday morning outing with my Mom. We both got mani pedi service and they were very gentle and sweet with her. My nail salon pet peeves are beverage service and massage so I have to mention that - while they offered the lady next to us water none was offered to us. I'm well hydrated today but this is a deal breaker overall. I'm going to try other Birmingham salons next time in an effort to find decent service. The massage part of the service was lengthy but rather limp wristed for most of it. They just don't seem to care and are just going thru the motions. I like how quiet this spa is and that the TVs are tuned to HGTV but the volume is down and while the staff patter is fairly constant they try to keep voices soft. The overall feel of the place is calm and I appreciate that. Polish color selection is average (about 300 shades of Opi, Essie and Color Club etc) but I always bring my own. They offer Opi infinite shine for $3 upcharge. The upselling to gel services was also minimal here. I'm not sure why this place is so incredibly popular but even for price it's not a 5 star in my book. read more

Great place, very big and beautiful interior design. Got a pedicure with a sprained ankle and the technician was so wonderful and gentle. Then I got the dip powder on my nails and I love it!! It's my first time doing this as opposed to gel or acrylics and I love this so much better. She said it would help grow my nails because the acrylics had ruined them.
