He took the time to ask what I enjoy, shared his knowledge of different brands, wrappers, and blends, and introduced me to several underrated cigars I probably would have overlooked. You can tell he genuinely loves cigars and enjoys helping others discover something new. So, just ask him to recommend a stick if you're feeling like trying something new or not sure what would hit the spot. With his recommendations, I ended up taking home a few My Father, Oliva Serie V Melanio, and Arturo Fuente cigars. It wasn't a sales pitch--it was just a great conversation between cigar enthusiasts. Unfortunately, I was traveling through and couldn't stay to enjoy a cigar in the lounge, but that's definitely on my list next time. It was just me this visit, but the next time I'm in the area I'll be calling a few friends to meet me here so we can relax, enjoy a few great cigars, and spend some quality time together. If you're anywhere near Yuma and appreciate premium cigars and knowledgeable service, Sun of a Gun Cigars is absolutely worth the stop. The interior is inviting and the chairs are very comfortable. Beautiful cigar lounge and shop. They have a nice walk in humidor with a large selection of options. They also carry flavored cigar options. The price points go from low to high to meet everyone's budget and needs. We picked up a few for our friends and for my boyfriend to enjoy. We picked up a few coffee flavored ones that smelled pretty good for a cigar. I'm not a huge fan of cigar smoke but those ones were not bad. The shop is really nice and well kept. They have a nice outdoor patio area to use when it's cooler at night. There is a small bar area inside with seating. *MY REVIEW FOR THE HOOKAH SIDE* I knew I would be in Yuma for one night due to my boss having a family wedding to attend out here. Yuma is a very small town and I was happy to see that this cigar lounge served hookah, however I didn't see any recent post on their social media about hookah, I also saw that the hookahs they carried may look nice but aren't any wear near my standards as a hookah enthusiast. I reached out to them through their Instagram page, got no response, after a few hours I called the phone number listed here on Yelp and no one picked up it just kept on ringing, so as a last ditch effort I decided to drive over from my hotel to check the place out. Outside patio looked comfortable and stylish for days with lower temperatures, upon walking inside, a lady that was smoking a cigar with customers slowly got up and greeted me. I asked if they still served hookahs and mentioned that I would be willing to pay double their normal price if I could bring my own hookah setup in (I work for a company making American made hookahs). She said she didn't think it was possible so I thanked her and left. The inside looked like a nice typical cigar lounge with a bar area and decent sized walk in humidor. I drive through Yuma a couple of times a month on my way to Phoenix and it would be nice to have a hookah lounge I could support. There's a lot of resource's out there to become better educated on hookah products. I wouldn't recommend MOB AK 47 hookahs to a lounge that's trying to provide a "premium hookah experience". I hope to return one day for a hookah and hopefully the staff and owner can be open minded to trying new things. read more

I have traveled into Yuma a couple times. Recently found this cigar bar on my last couple of trips. The establishment is clean, well priced, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Staff (mainly the lady owner, didn't catch her name) is very friendly and helpful. The Bathrooms are clean, and the patrons keep to themselves. Probably the best place in the Yuma area to hang out. It's not just a cigar lounge too, which took me by surprise. They offer Hookah as well, and one of the workers there told me they will be getting into serving an assortment of tea, brewed right there for you. They have a decent cigar selection from what I can tell, but I typically come in for a Drew Estates Java (My usual) but occasionally I'll have a Hookah. One of the workers there makes his own blends (Can't remember his name, but incredible guy) and they taste great. I've only tried two of his flavors so far. "Smoke of the Gods" and "Jack Sparrow". I'm no hookah expert, but they taste amazing. I usually come at night, and they'll have music going. It wasn't obnoxiously loud, or a genre you can't get into. Very chill, laid back stuff you can just relax to which was a plus. The patio area is where I'll have a seat as the weather isn't too bad this time of year and it's comfortable. Usually in other lounges like MD Cigars it's rare to get anyone to check up on you, but these guys will make sure you're always checked up on and sitting well. They're very on top of the coals for the Hookah. All in all I can't say anything bad about the place, really. Every time I come in something is new and changing as well. I was told the business was recently taken into new ownership. Some regulars filled me in on some horror stories of the past, but now? No way. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good smoke. read more
