Has been an Absolutely Great visit thus far. Beautiful scenery, quiet atmosphere and Incredible access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas. Kind and Thoughtful staff.

This was our second stay. We had a great time!! Place is very busy!! Staff was great to deal with. I think they need to break ground on another swimming pool!! The gym is small but that's what I like and it needs a little cleaning!! I did hear the pools are heated for the winter time!!

Fantastic campground very close to the main drag in the heart of the smokies. This campground will impress you in many ways: Open year round Immaculately maintained Beautiful landscaping Excellent location Wonderful amenities - full hookup, pull thru sites, wifi, pool (2, as well as a hot tub), arcade, fitness center, golf cart rentals, kids playground and water park, small lazy lagoon in swimming area, cabin rentals, etc. Roomy sites Large interior roads (well marked if after hours arrival) Rv & bus wash Zip line hiking! If you love to camp and are looking for a great getaway give this one a try, you won't be disappointed!

This place is beautiful!! They have 2 pools, and 1 lazy river and at night they light up different colors. There sites are very easy to get in and out of, and very clean. You get a nice concrete pad with a wooden picnic table. We came here to work an RV show, so we were in a "Civic center" building, it was clean and had nice restrooms. Plenty of seating too for visiting. Also, you are near SO many yummy resteraunts and amazing activities to do! Museums, aquariums, zip lines, roller coasters, and fast golf carts.

Located just off the parkway so very convenient to sights. Nice trees, side sites. Would be 5 stars if better Wi-Fi.

I went back the next day to do laundry there was a sign said closed for renovation. I asked was it broken he said no .I then ask if they are starting today he didn't know When they would start. I Think they should have posted a sign telling when it would close off season preferably . There's nothing wrong with it .I think they just didn't won't to clean it due to the bad weather. I have taken my g-kids to a Jellystone RV Park in Bremen, GA and it was a great park, there was plenty to do to keep our g-kids busy, hands down. That was the reason for our making reservations here, don't waste your money! One pool was closed it was green, the other a backyard pool is almost bigger. Again, very disappointed. I wish I could end this review with something positive, but I have nothing!

Greenbrier Campground is fantastic in so many ways and absolutely deserves to be enjoyed by everyone. We rented the deluxe cabin that sleeps 4, which has a wraparound porch overlooking the river, plus a fire pit and grill. There are chairs everywhere--two on the side porch, two with a table on the front porch for morning coffee with a view, and five Adirondacks around the fire pit. The cabin itself is newly built and really sturdy, more like a tiny home. Inside you'll find a couch, a dining table with bench seating, and a kitchen with a 2-stool peninsula. The kitchen is fully stocked: plates, cups, bowls, silverware, pots and pans, can opener, toaster--you name it. A skinny staircase leads up to the loft, which is about 36" at the highest point before the beams. It has an outlet, light switch, windows on each side, and two firm twin foam mattresses. Surprisingly comfy--and super fun for kids. Our 3-year-old loved it. The bathroom was spotless with great storage between the counter and medicine cabinet, and the shower was a good size. The master bedroom has a Fire TV, tons of shelving, and plenty of outlets. As for the amenities: you get river access, a game room, and a playground. It's also very dog-friendly, with poop stations and a dog run, which we appreciated. What really stands out? * Service: The staff are incredible and make you feel right at home. * Upkeep: They genuinely care about their property. Everything inside and out is immaculate, and they enforce the 5mph and noise rules so everyone stays safe and comfortable. * Pricing: Super fair--especially if you have dogs! Downsides (and I really had to reach): * Bed: I'm pretty sure the master bed is a full, not a queen. I brought flat sheets, but it definitely felt smaller than a queen. * Shower curtain: It's adorable, but it tends to cling to you while you're showering. * Pocket doors: You need to slide the door all the way and hold it while locking until it catches. They're just a little loud, especially with a toddler sleeping in the loft since sound travels. I've honestly never stayed anywhere so clean and welcoming. Next time we'll probably book the deluxe cabin that sleeps 6, and we can't wait to come back. They anticipate everything you might need and truly care about you having an enjoyable stay. I can't recommend Greenbrier Campground enough!

So incredibly beautiful. So many dang bears…read more Or so I've been told. Fortunately for me, a person who is very much afraid of bears and wants nothing to do with them, I did not see any bears during my visit to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. But they're there! Lurking ... somewhere ... in the forest, I'm sure. I visited during the spring, when the bears were waking up from their long slumber, and I'm sure they were just waiting, with growling tummies, to eat someone. Because of the bears, I didn't travel too far away from the visitor center area of Newfound Gap. But there are trails and other things to see that are beautiful if you like hiking and whatnot. As for me, I was satisfied staying close to where there was more concrete and cars than nature. (I know! I'm kind of dumb sometimes.) Newfound Gap straddles both Tennessee and North Carolina, so you can be in two states at once -- literally, you can have one foot in Tennessee and the other in North Carolina! There's also a cool rock structure that you can climb to the top of called the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial, where you'll get great views of the mountains. They really do look smoky! They ain't lyin'. The Newfound Gap area of the Smoky Mountains also has a trailhead for the Appalachian Trail, plus restrooms. I saw backpackers who definitely looked like they had been on the the Appalachian Trail for a while. I've since learned that although this is not the largest national park, it's the most visited, and I believe it! There were quite a lot of people at the Newfound Gap area. That said, I visited a few other places around the park where there were zero people, so you might have to change locations, depending on how many people you want to share your park experience with.

Definitely try to get to Kuwohi for sunset. Amazing panoramic views of the blue ridge mountains, and on a clear day you can see as far as four states away! Cades Cove is an early morning must. We beat the crowds by getting there at 6:30am and were done with the 11 mile drive by 9:30am, taking our time to check out most of the stops along the way. Just to note it is closed on Wednesdays to cars when they turn it over to bikes and pedestrians. We also did the Roaring fork motor nature trail which was also very nice and not as chaotic as Cades Cove.
