I think that so far this has been my favorite RV park, we've been traveling and living in our RV so we've had the chance to explore some parks. This park has very nice spots, and the premium ones are amazing (we just saw them, they were kinda of pricey for our budget), they also have an arcade, a lazy river, a kiddos' pool and a small splash pad, they also offer a gym and laundromat, and for the furry babies they have a "bark park", and a doggie wash. Te lazy river is very nice, is heated and has the right size to just chill out, the children's pool is cold, but I guess is good for the little ones to refresh in it, I didn't go to the spa but I saw people relaxing in there, and there's also an adult pool, but you could see kids in there as well, my son had a blast. The laundromat has really good prices compared to other ones I have seen and been to, and I loved the gym, it's very well equipped and it was empty, so I was able to use whatever I wanted, they also have cleaners for the equipment and a very good size TV, just bring your water because they don't have a water dispenser in there. We didn't use the arcade, but it looked very nice with a lot of games in there, they also have a playground that is shaded by a beautiful tree, and during the weekends an ice cream bus comes to visit. The doggie wash was amazing, and its real cheap, just $10, I even think my doggies enjoyed it, the dryer needs more time, but you can add money for that. Overall our experience was great, it's located in a great area where pretty much everything is close by, I definitely want to come back.

This was our second stay. We had a great time!! Place is very busy!! Staff was great to deal with. I think they need to break ground on another swimming pool!! The gym is small but that's what I like and it needs a little cleaning!! I did hear the pools are heated for the winter time!!

This place is beautiful!! They have 2 pools, and 1 lazy river and at night they light up different colors. There sites are very easy to get in and out of, and very clean. You get a nice concrete pad with a wooden picnic table. We came here to work an RV show, so we were in a "Civic center" building, it was clean and had nice restrooms. Plenty of seating too for visiting. Also, you are near SO many yummy resteraunts and amazing activities to do! Museums, aquariums, zip lines, roller coasters, and fast golf carts.

Located just off the parkway so very convenient to sights. Nice trees, side sites. Would be 5 stars if better Wi-Fi.

Stunning. The Great…read moreSmoky Mountains National Park officially ties with Yosemite as my two favorite national parks in the US. I love everything about this beautiful area of our country. We were there in early spring and enjoyed stunning weather, blooming wild flowers, and bear sightings a-plenty. We also were there when the dogwoods were blooming and there are dogwood trees throughout the park--it was stunning. We enjoyed driving around the park, hiking, and stopping at various points of interest. We were also able to take an accessible hike up a paved trail to the highest point in the park, which was amazing. My eyes seriously just could not get enough of all the gorgeous nature to be enjoyed here. Top notch. Get to it!

Great Smoky Mountain National Park has been on my bucket list for many years. I was hoping that…read morespring break would be down season at the Park, but the Park was busy!!! We had a fabulous visit to this vast natural wonder. We learned that Park is the largest natural habitat in the continental U.S. The signature "smoky" appearance of the mountains is caused by an evaporation of organic rich moisture released by the vegetation within the Park. We started our visit by stopping at the visitors center to pick up a parking permit ($5/day) and maps ($1). I was glad we picked up maps because there is very little internet connectivity in the park, so we lost our navigation tools. The leaves were not on the trees yet (April) so we had magnificent uninterrupted views of the mountains and skylines. Spring wild flowers were in bloom. And we actually saw a mother bear with two cubs crossing the road. Each day during our visit we explored a different part of the park. We hiked to waterfalls and enjoyed scenic overlooks. We enjoyed exploring historic cabins and cemeteries. Popular sites were crowded and sometimes we had to wait for parking. Plan to arrive early. The park is filled with parking areas to pull off and enjoy the views or hike. Rest areas are available at many of the major sites. Leased dogs are only allowed in camping and parking areas and on two of the many trails. Bring good walking shoes, a hiking stick is helpful, water and sun glasses. You probably need to bring snacks, but keep those secure from wildlife.

Jenn and I finally got the rig back together enough to slip away for a long weekend. After Helene…read morewe were concerned the area would be damaged but it was wasn't. Just below damage area. If coming in from the West through Townsend, Wears Vally road is narrow and twisty. Some decent grades also. Coming from Pigeon Forge the road is wider and no steep grades. Either way a scenic run. We are 40' and tall with a Mega Cab so similar to driving a trailer truck and we made it fine but not everyone is up to the twists and turns. At the campsite which was up a decent grade there is an evergreen tree that needs pruned back to back in without scratches tot he rig. Also the site and several others seem to be slanted where it would have been easier to back into from the other direction. Also please not that some sites are back in and others are pull ins. Site was close to level left to right but I used two blocks on the passenger side. Could have gotten away with just one. Front to back the site was quite unlevel so made for a very low nose that I did bump my head on several times setting up. Once set up I went to walk the dogs on the loop. Quite a bit of grade so great exercise. Only issue is there are no trash cans except all the way at the entrance and the dogs never had to go down there. Water pressure seems good and electric only blinked off once during the storm the first night. The sewer worked good also. Over all not a bad campground but needs some maintenance on the trees and the drive and add trash cans for pet waste. It did seem not many folks cleaned up after their pets.

We held our ten (10) year Family reunion at the Little Valley Mountain Resort in late July 2025…read more We picked this particular Resort because I had stayed there late in 2008 and our Daughter & Her Family had stayed there early in 2020. Both stays were nothing short of AWESOME! So now our whole Family was going to stay & enjoy the Resort. All I can say is that things sure have changed over the years and not for the better. We had quite a few minor things affect us with our stay, but we were willing to overlook them. Like water off a duck's back. Then the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back occurred. We had a big bottle of Jack fall from the refrigerator and hit squarely on the glass top stove, cracking the stove top. I went down to the office and informed them of the accident. I also claimed responsibility for the damage and was prepared to reimburse them for replacing the stove top. The lady at the front desk asked for my name & phone number. She assured me that they would research getting the part replaced and would inform me as to how much I owed them. She also informed me that she thought the stove in that particular unit had recently been replaced in the last few years. DAMN the luck!!! On advice from my Brother we took pictures of the model / serial numbers. Turns out the stove was actually manufactured in May of 2012. So, thirteen (13) years old, not a few years old, as originally thought. Definitely at the end of it's useful life. Along with the age. The LED clock on the control panel had several lights burned out. Soo it was really difficult to tell what time it was. Thank God the clock on the microwave was just above it and functioning correctly. The bottom storage drawer on the stove was also broken. It looked all cattywampus and when I pulled it out to see why. I realized that the left drawer guide was all busted to hell. All indications of a stove near the end of it's useful life. We researched the cost of replacing the stove top. The top would be ~$200.00 - $250.00. A whole new stove would be ~$650.00 - $1,000.00. Depending on where you purchased them. Imagine our surprise when my Mother called me and informed me that the Resort had charged Her credit card for ~$770.00 for a brand-new stove. No phone calls, to Her or me. No communication once so ever. Akin to getting into a car accident, with a thirteen (13) year old, damaged car. You accept the responsibility for the accident and they demand, they want a brand-new car. We are at our wits end. Now all those minor inconveniences came to a head. The Cabin - The water had a very sulfury stench to it. So much so, nobody wanted to use the cabin water. We went through three (3) cases of water, for cooking and personal hygiene. No hair dryer. We had three (3) females in our cabin. All with long hair. They had washed their hair and then the search for a hair dryer began, with no joy. Thru phone calls to other Family members, in other cabins. We found out that they all had hair dryers, but we did not. The knife set in the kitchen was so dull. My Wife had to purchase Her own knife(s) to prepare meals. The spa, what a waste. My Wife went to use it and the foul stench that hit Her when She lifted the cover caused Her to reel back and closed it up as quickly as possible. Also the spa was running pretty much 24-7 and very, very, very LOUD. So much so, that it was very difficult for us to sleep. Our room was right next to it and for some reason every morning at ~0300 it would shut-off for about five (5) minutes and then restart. Waking us up every morning at ~0300. The Grandkids bunk beds had no sheets on them. Everyone is getting ready to retire for the evening and we find ourselves trying to put sheets on bunk beds that are walled in on three (3) sides. Which added another 1/2 hour to our day. Not to mention, not an easy task for us old disabled farts. The hand-held shower in our room did not work. Very hard for a disabled person to take a shower with just a fixed shower head. Then of course the stove issue (Read Above). The Amenities - The miniature golf course was a joke. The greens were covered with rocks, tree debris, & leaves. I weigh ~250 Lbs. and I was afraid I was going to collapse through parts of the elevated course, that were sagging under my weight. The pool had a pale green hue to it the whole time we were there. the sign of an, unhealthy and improbably balanced pool water. We did not want to risk the chance of getting a skin rash, red eye or urinary tract / ear infections. Compared to our stay in 2008. The beautiful mountain views are all but gone. Everything has been allowed to overgrow and take away these magnificent Smoky Mountain views. Instead of the beautiful mountain views, now all you can see are trees, trees and more trees. All said we will NEVER stay here again. Y'all's focus seems to have changed from a customer relationship base to a transactional model.
