Absolutely LOVED this campground! Staff went above and beyond to help us out to make sure we were comfortable and welcomed. We brought our pup and they were even accommodating to him. We stayed in the camping cabins and it was just perfect for our trip! The bathhouses were sparkling clean and had codes that only campers had access too. The camp sites were all well kept. Plenty of cemented spaces. While you're close to the parkway you hear very little road noise. With the exception of a trash truck, there was very little noise. Each site has a fire pit and a metal picnic table. There are "glamping" cabins. There are plenty dumpsters around. There are two bathhouses and a coin laundry. $3 for a wash and there is a change machine. The dryers are 25 cents for six minutes. There is an arcade for the kids and you can spy on them via the cable TV. Plus you can walk to a pancake house. read more

We love this campground for the location, friendly service, well-kept property, convenient and beautiful bathhouse and onsite pool and hot tub! The bathrooms and showers are really nice if you have a camper without a bathroom or if you just prefer more privacy. The campground is located right at the spur heading from Pigeon Forge into the National park to head into Gatlinburg. Reasonable prices, great wifi connection, pet friendly and pretty calm and quiet. All spots are back in. We've seen the owner out every day tending to the grounds and keeping it nice! They even give a discount for Good Sam members! There are also rustic cabins, some moderate cabins with bathrooms and some brand new deluxe cabins! read more

This is one of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed. It is beautiful and lovingly maintained. They accommodated us at the last minute, when we had a change of plans due to weather, and they were so nice. Our campsite was exceptionally clean, and level. A plus was that it was close to the pool. The pool was clean and well maintained. The shower/bath house was very clean our entire stay. Although I did not use the laundry facilities, it appeared very clean. This RV park has a Pigeon Forge trolley stop, right next to the office, so that is convenient. Also it is walking distance from some excellent restaurants. read more

This is a nice RV park. There is not a lot of separation between sites however the sites themselves are level ( many on cement) and hookups are up-to-date. Plus the river really is right there. We've stayed here a few times. read more

First off, this isn't the typical campground you think of in your mind's eye. It is right on the main drag in Pigeon Forge, so you don't get the "outdoor feel" that you might be expecting being so close to the national park. Additionally, as with most other businesses in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, maximum profit is the driving force, which is fine in a capitalist society, but just realize that there is a cost to it. In this case, space is very limited. We went with a cabin, which could be called quaint by some and tight by others. The fire ring is literally right on the road, so you have to contend with passing cars as you sit by the fire. No joke ~ your folding chairs will sit on the road. This is not child friendly. You need to keep an eye on your kids at all times. None of this mattered a whole lot to us, as we were planning on sleeping here and spending the whole day in the park. For this purpose, I think it is a fine option. The restroom and shower facilities are perhaps the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen at a campground, and I've been to a lot of campgrounds. They are absolutely phenomenal. If you want to "sleep" here only, I highly recommend. If you want to "camp" here, I think you'll be disappointed. read more

Wonderful place right at the mouth of the Smokey mountains. Clean, comfortable, and easy to get to.

SKIP THE KOA. Stay here instead... Pigeon Forge has a trolley system ($0.50 per trip or $2.50 unlimited day pass) that has a stop by the office. Park the RV and see the town without fighting traffic. Pool is beautiful and they have a splash park for little ones. Trees everywhere so the spots are shaded. We got a back in spot but they are wide so it was easy to park. Staff is courteous and efficient. I was checked in and out of the office in about 60 seconds. $5 discount per person to Dixie Stampede was a nice bonus! read more

This is very nice place, but never ask for refund. It doesn't happen. We saw a few bears at the campsite. The shower/ bathroom area is very clean. The owner is very nice and helpful with everything. I don't know if we going stay there again in the future. read more

My wife forgot sunglasses. The general store did not sell them but the park supervisor gave her a spare pair of his. Great WiFi too. We had our family and all of our friends come for our wedding. Everyone stayed here except 3 families that stayed in a hotel and they regretted it. We either brought 5th wheels, class a's or pull behind campers. Some of the family stayed in the camping cabins and we rented out the entire row of furnished cabins. The wifi was suburb and we are all streaming freaks, we in campers had full hookups working properly and had a fair amount of space. The camping cabins have a microwave, mini fridge a little air conditioner and I'm not sure about heater. Everyone said the walk to the bathrooms was nice and they felt safe in the park. The furnished cabins were very nice and honestly we reserved one for ourselves but my mom wanted it so we stayed in our rv. The only thing I would possibly change is put a back porch on so you could just enjoy the grass. But seriously it has a cute front porch and swing. We were treated so nice and we loved Maryann so much! Everyone really went out of their way to help us! We all decided to come back next year to just enjoy each other. This place is a good distance from everything. read more

We had a great time at this campground. They do a great job keeping the grounds looking nice. If you are want a place to be at one with nature. Go someplace else. You hear traffic from main strip. But it is easy to get to from the strip. You are minutes from Dollywood and Gatlinburg. It was great for us. We knew what we were getting into when we chose this campground. We have a 42' 5th wheel. We had some issues getting into our spot. Our neighbors across the road from us were nice enough to move there truck. So we could get into our spot. We were also on the main road in campground. Witch is a road the trolly runs on all day long. There are good and bad with this campground. But mostly good. We would go again in future. read more

This campsite is huge. The sites are small and want to hear your neighbors talk you will love it. What I liked most was the feeling of security and when the sun went down it was as quiet as if you were the only one there. The manager in the park store was very nice and very helpful. Would I go back? Probably but on a less busy weekend. read more

We stayed there for my son's birthday. The camping cabin was nice, even had a mini fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly. We loved that we got to take our dog (no additional cost) the bathroom/bathhouse was the nicest I've seen at a campground. My son loved the pool with a splash zone area, and of course the arcade. My friend and I stayed here during her family's big reunion trip in Gatlinburg. We wanted a small, quiet place near Gatlinburg (but not right in the center of it) and close enough to some hikes we wanted to do in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This place met our needs and even went above them. The people working in the office were very nice and helpful. We rented a small camping cabin for what we considered a steal of a price - there were two beds, a small fridge, a picnic table and a fire ring outside. The bath house was big, bright and very clean. And the RV pack just down the hill from our cabin was perfect for getting in a couple of morning runs. And we were just a short drive from everything we did while we were down there. If I'm in this area again, I'll definitely consider staying here again! read more

For our Dollywood stay, this was everything we needed and more. Although nothing close to glamping, Riveredge has a fantastic location and truly a ton of amenities available at your fingertips to make an incredible stay. Our group's original plan was to bring a tent to stay in, but we could not for the life of us find a place to set up camp around Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. I had never heard of cabin camping, but it seemed like the next best alternative. Enter Riveredge RV Park. The location on the main strip of Pigeon Forge but at the entrance to the highway to Gatlinburg made travel for us extremely easy. Upon check-in, we were greeted at the main desk and paid our remainder, and then given a map to our cabin as well as a key and a TV guide. Nice. The Cabin is well maintained with a full bed, and one set of bunk beds (this means the cabin can at most accomodate 4, but it's a tight fit). It's got a mini fridge, an AC unit (yaaaasss!), a SMALL TV, and that's about it. The beds are comfy enough, but bring your own linens. I chose a unit close to one of the bath houses, which was smart, because a hot shower was only a minute walk away. SPEAKING OF WHICH. The bathhouse. Oh my goodness, this thing is LUXURY! We're talking spa environment here, people, with frosted glass doors, individual shower stalls, the ethereal sounds of Gaither Vocal Band playing overhead, and chandeliers. We were all blown away by the quality of the bathhouses. I was a dummie and forgot several things for the trip, but no worries! The main desk area has everything you could possibly need, whether you're staying in an RV or a cabin. And it's CHEAP! They even had a few snacks. I'd be lying if I told you I didn't pick up a strawberry shortcake popsicle while I was there. Anyways, for the price, location, amenities, quality, and customer service, I would so, so happily stay at Riveredge next time I come to Pigeon Forge! read more

My friend and I just returned from a mid-week break from home. We stayed in a cute Camping Cabin, and enjoyed our whole visit. The staff is extremely welcoming and hospitable, the park is very clean, well appointed, quite and safe. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, as were the shower houses. They had me at chandeliers, but the piped in music put it over the top! We were able to stay only 2 nights, but plan to return in the spring, for several nights, and can't wait. read more

Camping at its finest! This is one of the best maintained, well manicured, and convenient campgrounds that we have ever stayed at. The sites are level, they have concrete pads for the picnic tables (which are immaculate), gravel pads for your RV/Camper, and everything is perfectly level. The bathrooms are spotless, they keep spa like music playing, and the showers are nicer than what most people have at home. The location for this campground is perfect. It's access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is great! We will be back here every time we come to Pigeon Forge for now on. read more

Very small and narrow sites, rude front desk staff, little to no kid outdoor play areas. Only good thing was the location, that's about it.

Not big rig friendly. Even after contacting them multiple times to check, they assured me that there was no problem bringing in our 40' 4-slide coach. On arrival, getting our coach into the assigned site was an absolute nightmare. Due to the lack of space in the sites, people had to park their tow cars/trucks in the street. We had to get multiple people to move their cars for us to shoe-horn our motorhome into the site. The site was extremely narrow. Our neighbors awning could not be fully extended without hitting our driver-side slideout. Our awning was unusable due to the tree that was about 1-foot away from the side of our coach. The neighbors were also unable to use their fire ring because it was virtually under the edge of our slideout. We ended up with tailpipe damage as a result of trying to squeeze our coach in the site between two trees. When we first go there, my wife noted that we appeared to be the only ones their with diesel pusher motorhomes. If it wasn't a holiday weekend where pretty much everything was booked, we would have left and gone elsewhere. Other than the sites being on top of one another, the campground was nice. They had a nice pool, playground, and game room. They claimed to have cable tv access but I was only able to get it to work once during our 5-day stay. Fortunately, we were able to pick up about 30 broadcast television stations with our old-fashioned Wingard antenna. read more

We camped here for family vacation. Campground was nice and close to a lot of activities. We were lucky enough to get in last row away from the main drag in pigeon forge. The major thing is the areas r very small and we had to ask 2 families to move their trucks so we cld get our camper into our site. Took several attempts to get the camper in straight!!! Stay here every year. It is a must if you are coming to pigeon forge/gatlenburg. Campgrounds are nice and the bathhouse is even better.
