You can imagine not being too familiar with the course that we would play a little slower than members who play daily. Never an issue with any member or player's assistant complaining about our pace of play. Restaurant was great. Staff excellent and good food. One course I really consider playing whenever I visit Kamloops.

Most open course we played but the winds were incredible. Lot of mosquitoes. We basically kept pace with the members ahead of us. Greens were pretty quick. The staff in the clubhouse were very good. As quick as could be and every courteous and friendly. Food was basically what you would expect at a bar.

Poorly managed…read more Golfed here yesterday and there was no beer cart which is fine but no one told us that. We would have stocked up at the club house but didn't know. On the front nine many holes don't have proper signage so your not sure where the next tee box is. None of the holes have 150 yard markers on the fairway which makes the game a little tricky but more importantly isn't good golf etiquette. I was golfing really well on the front nine (one of my best games) but when we went into the clubhouse after nine to have a burger we were told the course closes at 8:30!?! We would have just played nine rather then eighteen if we would have known that. Completely ruined my night rushing to play golf...... We were kicked off the course on 17 (at 8:30). WEAK! I won't be back. Ill go play golf where they accept Money and I can enjoy the game for what it is.

You guys this place was fan-freaking-tastic!…read more My husband's family owns a beach condo in Celista. We go out there every summer and this is the first time we've ever been to the Quaaout Lodge. It was my husband's birthday today and his parents treated us to a wonderful dinner. This is also the first time we have gone to a restaurant since Covid started, and their safety protocols made us feel very safe. The staff was all wearing masks, the tables were spaced out great, there was sanitizer stations all over the place, and when we arrived they even sanitized the chairs! The service was top notch. Our drinks and food both arrived promptly and we were all very impressed with everything. Everyone ordered the fish and chips but me, but I had a taste of my husband's and it was delicious. I had the Wedge Salad and it was hands down the best salad I've ever had (I highly recommend). I also recommend the Botanical Gin and Tonic The server overheard us mention that it was my husband's birthday and they offered him a free dessert (the best creme brule ever) complete with a candle. Overall we were all thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back next summer!

The lights in the washroom and at the bed for reading are nice and bright. It is so nice to have good lighting when using the washroom and reading in bed at night. The bin they have for recycling is nicely divided into 4 sections labeled paper, plastic, metal and glass. In the bedroom they have a hassock underneath the bedside table, this provides a great seat to be used when writing or making notes. You have a little mini desk. We had a great stay at Quaaot and would highly recommend a stay here. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful.

I came here with my husband and some friends to hit some golf balls on the driving range on a…read moreholiday Monday. Mt. Paul golf course offers a 9 hole par 32 course. Their driving range has 20 covered stalls on ground level, and 10 stalls on the upper deck. We didn't have any golf clubs with us, so we had to rent everything. Club rental is $2 each, which is pretty good. The cost for a bucket of balls is $4 for a small, $7 for a medium, and $9.50 for a large bucket. This seemed a bit expensive to me since I'm used to paying ~$6 for a bucket of balls in Vancouver. However, they offer a great deal which is a large bucket of balls and breakfast for $10 before 11 AM if you're an early bird. You pay for the bucket inside, and you get a receipt with a code on it. You take that code to the ball machine on the right side of the driving range, and fill the bucket there. The driving range is nice in that it has huge nets caging in the range, so there's no loose balls flying everywhere. It also makes it easier to see where the ball goes if you consistently slice left or right (like I do). I also like that you get a nice view of the hills in the area, and can enjoy the driving range without being cooked in the sun. The course was in great shape, they set up dinner and dessert for us and even stocked the beer cart with his favourite drinks. They were friendly, professional, and fast with food and drinks. The price was very reasonable and we definitely would recommend it to others! Thanks for saving my butt and making my husbands day.
