I have used this location (and a couple of their others when closer) for years in my commercial business. They have experience and know how to properly maintain their equipment to keep it safe and running to avoid downtime. They have always been very accommodating, professional and gone above and beyond the call of duty. Quick note: be wary of the negative feedback. I generally look at how many times folks have left a review and then it is usually only negative feedback. I can tell you that is the case for these guys. Fantastic customer service and good SAFE equipment, and years of experience in the rental industry. Todays lift rental is a perfect example, arrived on time, worked great and we are moving on to the next job...seamlessly! Can't recommend them enough. read more

I have used this company in the past and this time not only did give me equipment that was not charged so I couldn't use it for the first part of my rental .....they overcharged me an extra 1/2 day for the equipment I rented. They are thieves and DO NOT. One employee will tell you something and the manager does not back them. I manager stated he would never want to be an owner because doesn't like dealing with renters. I will never use this company again and I WILL be letting other companies not to use them also. read more

I want to like these guys, but the equipment is not taken care of, they rent out trailers with bald tires then charge you when they pop. I have had good experiences but when something goes wrong they don't have the staff to deal with it, nor the staff to fix their machines. I have been given attachments for machines that don't even fit the machine, they couldn't bring me the right one so I had to waste my time to go get it. If you can get what you need from H&E I would highly recommend that. read more

Sun Rental Rocks, Leif is a star. I lost my wedding ring doing yard work. The other rental yards couldn't help. Called Sun and spoke to Leif, very helpful, explained how to use metal detector. Took a few minutes to locate my ring and my wife is happy again. Great Job, you will always be my first choice for rental equipment. By the way, they are call Sun Rental for a reason, they rent EVERYTHING under the Sun. Cheers! read more

Unbelievably atrocious customer service. Can't review their equipment because I left before completing my transaction. The "gentleman" (and I use that term only in the most sarcastic sense) who was "helping" (sarcastic again) me was so profoundly rude and obnoxious that I would NEVER do business with this company again. EVER. He even boasted of having "been in the business 31 years..." If that is true it is an amaxing feat considering his complete lack of manners and sense. read more

Well I Rented from these folks it was a good experience! I ordered everything online it was really…read moreeasy and convenient and was able to get everything that I needed to pick up. At pick up I arrived with my truck the two guys that loaded my truck added the tables and chairs to my vehicle. They made a mistake and miscounted by over 40 chairs. (That was a win in my favor). The chairs were really clean and it looked that they had been wiped down, the table cloths were dry cleaned and nicely pressed, unfortunately the tables were falling apart, there were nails and screws that were coming out of them. Luckily I brought a power drill with me and was able to go thru the tables and fix the majority of their them. At drop off they helped with the removal of the chairs and tables from my truck. Overall a pleasant experience. I would use them again!

Rental customers please be aware of the condition of equipment you need to rent from this business…read more I had rented from them previously and everything went fine because nothing broke down on me . The second time I rented a skid steer to move some dirt around on my property. When I rented this equipment the guy made a comment about how worn out the tracks were and they probably should had been changed by now due to the rips and holes (see photo) . I thought nothing of the comment because I felt I was dealing with a stand up Buisness at that time and frankly I was being dumb and trusting. We'll of coarse the track came off of this machine on my watch . While helping put the track back on I noticed many old tears in the tracks. After the mechanic and I put the track back on it needed to be tightened to hold it in place , as the mechanic did this using a power grease gun it forced a large rip due to being properly pressurized.this was loaded and promptly returned to the yard . This is where I was informed the charged would be on me since I broke the track, the truth is the track was weak to start and I believe the pressure was lowered to keep the old track turning without ripping in half at full pressure . This probably was overdue for new tracks years ago . What happens with this Buisness owner is this .... If you aren't very very knowledgeable about the equipment you rent and refuse to rent it based on lack of maintenance you as the customer will be charged for new set of tracks which I believe are upwards of 6k .plus labor to install them in their full service shop . Bottom line is there is no possible way this business can place blame on anyone for lack of maintenance on their equipment. We as customers have to be able to put some trust in these businesses in our own community . This looks really bad on newtec and I'm disappointed to say the least . Clearly the owner who was very very nasty to deal with isn't wanting to keep his assets in solid order using his checkbook rather he prefers customers to use theirs to pay for maintenance needs . I think I may have uncovered the little game being played on folks which explains the hostility received from the owner while trying to discuss the situation. I can only hope this helps someone out and not make my mistakes.
