I had never gotten a spray tan before and I was nervous to do it because let's be honest, we've all seen spray tans go wrong. I read sooooo many reviews and ended up choosing this biz! Bronze2U uses "solutions that are natural and organically infused with Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Vitamins A, E & C. They're FDA certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, and there's NO animal testing involved." Impressive! Other (cheaper) locations use an ingredient that can make you orange, but not here. The natural ingredients also didn't break my sensitive skin out at all either. The owner Bree brings a pop-up tent and spray tan machine with her, directly to your home. She quickly sets up in a few minutes and has you strip down to whatever you feel comfortable in. She put lotion on the parts that tend to keep extra color: elbows, knees, toes, etc. She then did the whole spray tan in under five minutes. She then puts powder on you to keep it on and you're instructed to wear baggy clothes while you wait. The tan didn't wash off on anything though - I'm impressed! You can choose to get the medium tan, which is the cheaper option and has you waiting six hours before showering. There is also the quick tan option which is more expensive, but let's you shower in only an hour or two (you choose when to shower based on how dark you want it to be). I did the medium tan, waited six hours, rinsed off, and was impressed by the natural color I had. It looks so natural and glowy. Sooooo good! Bree is also is an esthetician and has a location downtown in the XG Groom Room, where she will also start doing spray tans soon too. I'll definitely be doing this again!

She is so friendly and makes you feel like you are in a room with one of your friends, rather than a stranger you just met and stripped down in front of. I was very comfortable and she explained the process before we started and again as we went. I actually went to her building, which was easy to find, has easy parking that only costed me about $2.20 for 2 hours (I definitely did not need that much time but I'm an over preparer when it comes to downtown parking). Since Summer 2020 I've been a customer and have received wonderful services, especially with Hannah, including several different kinds of facials with dermaplaning, 24K Cookie, and Badass Bum Bum with microneedling. The *only* recommendation is to add a few more services (I've recommended them all to Hannah already haha) AND have Hannah be in downtown (*stares longingly at Hannah*) since she is only at the Fishers location. This evening at 9:30 PM, two younger girls were working and before I even entered the facility I could see thru the glass storefront they were highly displeased to see a customer coming in. Their facial expression and body language were offensive but I was still kind and greeted them warmly. While I understand they close at 10 PM, a spray tan takes less than 10 minutes. When I checked at the counter the receptionist let me know they close at 10 PM and the spray tans stop at 9:40. By this time it was 9:33. I did joking make a comment about 9:40 being in 7 minutes and pleaded that I drove 20 minutes & have an event tomorrow. After being turned away I promptly checked the website and FB page...there was NO mention of last tan needing to be by a certain time. Once to my car at 9:35 I located and crafted an email post marked by 9:40 so leadership could have proof of timing. Very disappointed as I drove 20 minutes each way...(from Cicero) because I had really likes this salon. Their service and quality of tan had been great. Very disappointed at their customer service and in general, they way they treated me before I even made it into the building... UPDATE: The General Manager reached out and made the situation right. Most places will start treating you differently if you don't want to sign up for the best memberships or have concern. The lady heard me and told me the first tan was free, and then showed me that I can sign up for texts and get another free tan. There was no mention of memberships or pricing or anything. I signed my little waiver and within 5 minutes got into a bed. She also gave me her recommendations, as I burn super easily, and I actually didn't come out burnt! It was super clean and I really liked the vibe of the room! Solely because of this treatment, I'll never go to another tanning salon, and I'm more than happy to come back often and pay full price! I completely understand that businesses need to make money and a profit, but this marketing is better than just handing someone a list of prices and trying to convince them to choose the most expensive one. Usually they have good deals and good/friendly people working at all locations. The first couple of encounters here weren't super friendly. Didn't offer any specials, promotions, upgrades, etc. I haven't seen those people since then so hopefully that was just a minor issue. The rooms appear like they aren't swept often or mopped very well. They seem kinda dirty when you really look at the detail. The 'Faster' level beds aren't cleaned very well and have smudges all over them like they were wiped down but not very well. I got a rash (contact dermatitis) on both of my elbows after using one of these beds, which goes to show, they aren't cleaned very well. Definitely room for improvement! They don't have the 'Fast' level beds but they advertise them. They said corporate recently came in and took them out.

And now Sun Tan City won't refund that money for a membership I didn't want, nor did I know I had until I checked my credit card statement. And if you call the Fishers location, it's just a recording - nobody to talk to. So I've paid for three months of a membership that I can't get refunded when I just wanted a one time tan. So disappointed.
