Sunblock Window Tinting is a family owned business, and I'm glad it is because checking with other rates in the Greater Sacramento Area, his rate was much reasonable amongst the rest that I've gone to. I like being loyal when I received the utmost awesome experience and the value of my money that I received on my tint. I was charged $350 for a ceramic tint for all windows except front windshield which is a fair deal (includes moonroof tinting). Although, without moonroof tint, total for all windows will be $300 if paid in cash (no sales tax added) and $325 if paid via card (with sales tax added). Price as follows below: 5% Ceramic Tint Rear Passenger & Back Window 5% Ceramic Tint Moon Roof 35% Ceramic Tint for front Driver & Passenger All for $350 lifetime warranty on workmanship & natural cause by sun damage, excluding replacement of tint window that has been broken into. If paying in cash it is tax free. And if paying with any Debit/Credit CARD and accepts Amex/Discover/Visa/Mastercard there will be about $25 sales tax added. I went with this place to tint my car since the place I usually go to didn't have a sooner availability and the quote I was offered by Sunblock Window Tint was much more cost efficient. Scheduling an appointment with them was really easy through messaging on Yelp. I believe Yusuf was the one that explained to me the different products they have. I ended up going with Ceramic since all of my cars have them on and they do a very good job of blocking heat. They did my car the first time surprisingly quick, but after 4-5 days the tint didn't adhere to the windows as well as I had expected. I stopped by during their business hours and spoke with the Manager and he apologized and reassured me that they will take care of it since they offer a lifetime warranty. Real World Honest Review. On a scale of 1-10. Sunblock auto tint is a 2 at best. I called and spoke with moe in detail about my model 3 , as the rear window is quite large. He said they can do it but it will have to be in 2 pieces if laser cut or 1 piece if it is hand cut. I said I would like the 1 piece hand cuT he said no problem. this conversation was 20 minutes long as I was very clear about what I wanted. I drive 2 hours to get to sunblock auto tint . as I am very particular about who works on my car. I speak with moe about the rear window. he assure me it's not a problem. they state the job will be 2 hours. I come back about a hour later and the are cutting the tint for the rear window in 2 pieces. we talk and Larry says they can NOT do it in 1 piece as the tint isn't wide enough. Disappointment !!! We agree to go with 2piece laser cut. Butt the edges together so the seam is minimal. Zero overlap !!! Well 3.5 hours later. Finally they are done. YES YOU GUESSED IT. THE JOINT IS OVERLAPPED. BY 1-1.5". There's small bubbles in the tint. I proceed to tell moe, Larry and curley that we have a huge problem. Moe is disappears and I'm left with Larry and Curley to deal with. I tell them this is not acceptable and I can NOT in good conscience pay for something like this. Instead of working with me. They accuse me of trying to rip them off... I paid them because I could not stand their ignorance any longer. These 3 stooges will do whatever they want to your car. It's worse than talking to a 5 year old. read more
