At first, I was hesitant of trying a fried chicken restaurant. When I saw the heavy mix of families and couples dining, I changed my mind. There was a large group where several tables were combined.
I decided on the Classic, three pieces of fried chicken, Cole slaw and three potato wedges. The breading on the fried chicken reminded me of the Kentucky Fried Chicken back home, different taste but just as delicious. The sticky rice was the next best thing on the plate. The cole slaw was a disappointment: few pieces of cabbage and nothing else and loads of the dressing. Of course, it may just be the expected variation. The potato wedges were okay.
While waiting for the food, I went with the placemat's recommendation of mixing the 3 condiments on the table: Banana catsup, Worcestershire Sauce and Hot sauce. It made the fried chicken even better. read more
