They were very beautiful dogs; our only mistake was getting two at one time. So, we brought them back to the shelter. They seemed disappointed, But we thought we were doing the right thing. They both found a home and I'm very happy about that. But we went to adopt another dog and they turned us down, said this dog was very energetic and would not be a good fit for us. To be judge n jury to people who wanted to adopt an animal out of the shelter. We were very upset and still see it up for adoption. We have a awesome dog at home and she is trying to play with the cats. The cats don't want to play with her, since she is a lot bigger then them. We have a 1/2 acker yard for them to play in. My animals are spoiled, ask my friends. So, if you're going to be that way with people, maybe you should find a different job. My 8 yo bunny was having on and off health issues for nearly a month, but her old vet office did not/could not address her teeth. It got to the point where I thought she would pass away over the holiday weekend, and I was calling every exotic vet I could find seeing if anyone could see her last minute the following day before the weekend. This is the only place I found that had the staff and resources to address rabbit teeth without at least a weeks notice (which is often not an option for rabbits). All the staff here are incredible! The front of office staff are SO much nicer than those at our last vet, the vet tech was great with my bunny, and the vet was absolutely amazing, and had her back to her old self within a day (just with two fewer teeth). He let me know whenever they had new information after bringing her back, and kept me in the loop with decision making. I went from thinking she would die, to her eating again without pain within the day. 100% worth the drive over!

I took my White German Shepherd there since we move from Maryland 6 years ago. My Asher was pretty…read moremuch very healthy except for the seizures he suffered since he was 5 months. Only visit the vet twice a year for his wellness exam. For the last 2 months we was sleepy and drank a lot of water, and I told the vet when he had the last check up. Nothing was recommended or done to look for the cause of this. The last visit was in April and they told us everything was fine with the dog. In May our beloved Asher died in 2 days without any previous symptoms. Later I found out that German Shepherds should be screen for cancer every 6 months after 7 years old because they are prone to develop cancer (Hemangiosarcoma) from the spleen. I feel the doctors in this clinic didn't give Asher the best care neither they offer preventing cancer screening (ultrasound/x-ray), which could probably help us to catch that deadly desease early. They didn't do anything even when I told them he was very sleepy and drank a lot of water, which is a sign of internal bleeding in German Shepherds. If you have a German Shepherd or other large breed dog, I advice you to take in your hands your dog's health, and if you go to this clinic, ask for prevention screening for Hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive type of cancer in dogs. I should have taken my Ashy to another place for his care because I feel Pet First neglected my dog, and did nothing to address our concerns.. Maybe if they did, Asher would be alive. I also would like to mention that during the animal exam, we told the vet that Asher has a lot of itchiness. She gave us spray for the elbows, because she said that probably he has an infection. We went home, and my son was playing with Asher and suddenly saw a flea coming out of his back. We found out that Asher has fleas and the vet didn't notice this in the exam. Please pets parents be aware of this silence desease and help your dog if you see anything unusual. My heart is really broken after loosing my baby Asher who was almost 10 years old and very healthy boy.

The staff and his wife are exceptionally friendly and professional. He's also an amazing Veterinarian Sage got spayed on April 21st, 2025 at 5 months. She's acting like nothing has happened.
