If you like your possessions (and when paying good money for a move one typically does) then do not use this company. I hired Suncoast for a full service move from FL to NY in 3/21. The delivery was delayed twice and I later found out that during that period my belongings were unloaded into a warehouse. Upon arrival at my house in NY I saw that none of the mattresses had been wrapped or covered, none of the bed frames had been wrapped or covered and they all arrived extremely dirty covered in sud. Several furniture pieces were damaged (cabinet drawers had never been emptied putting too much load on the slide-out mechanisms), shelves had been damaged literally from brute force (punctures or in case of my large, custom made TV shelf from Germany, brute force by stacking multiple heavy boxes/items on it. Several pieces never arrived like my trailer hitch, my water fountain (which they actually admitted that it was left in their warehouse, however 18 months later I still have not received it) and some electronic items (3 sonos speakers, an Apple Airport Extreme, remote controls), Original Hong Kong Chinese porcelain pieces were damaged because they were simply not wrapped properly, an art piece had been "thrown" into the TV box together with a transformer and by pure luck "only" the art piece got damaged Their claim offer was pathetic. Denial of several pieces and the couple of pieces they actually did offer reimbursement was a fraction of the value. Although I had Full Replacement Value Protection. Not sure how this fits together. Water fountain has still not been delivered after 18 months, despite their admission for having it in their storage. Guess I need to file a theft charge.... read more

This place is a rip off. Used them for moving through Atlas and had a terrible experience all around. The owner, Frank, will talk to you like you're a piece of garbage and is out to make money anyway he can with no regard to what is write and no responsibility for his Company and employee negligence. Just take a look at what others have said and form your own opinion. Do your research before moving forward with a company. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Steer clear of this place. Tired of voicing my concerns about this company. Rude, careless, and mismanaged. Late, lost, and damaged items yet charged full price. Constantly redirected to voicemails and no returned calls. Please believe the bad reviews and go elsewhere. They are horrible. They will destroy your belongings and then deny the cost of replacement or repair. Quote you one price and charge you a significant amount more then the "estimates" if you have anything of value they will steal it and ic you have your items stored in their facility you can count on them being damaged, moldy and musty and infested with roaches and bedbugs. They store them in a filthy warehouse with no AC and crates piled on one an other. Its aweful. read more

Our agent called this company to ask for a moving survey. They scheduled the appointment and on the day of he survey they did not show up and did not contact us to let us know they were not coming. After following up with this company, they said "we were too far away" and they couldn't do the survey. Based on the other reviews, I think we are lucky they no showed. They don't really want to be in this business. Avoid at all cost. read more

This business is the worst, most unprofessional moving outfit I have ever dealt with. The broke many antique items; they did not show up when they said they would; they delivered items to our home that were supposed to be delivered elsewhere, and they delivered our items to other locations. The men on site fought amongst each other and the manager did not return calls. Stay away - get another moving company!! read more

We received a very favorable quote that included many items that we didn't take (totaling over 600 LB). The reality was much different. The final bill was 50% above the estimate. 6 persons packed our stuff and it took a full day. At the receiving end of the move two persons off-loaded the boxes in three hours so we were in some mess. After over a month of getting organized I can state categorically that two attractive items were not received at this end so I doubt the integrity of the employees. I 'phoned the company and was told that somebody would get back to me. That did not happen. Be warned, they low-bid the estimate to get the job but have so much small print that the estimate bears no resemblance to the final bill read more

If you get an estimate make sure that it is in writing not to exceed. If Frank tells you something orally make sure you also have it in writing because he does stand by what he says verbally. If you don't do this you will probably end up with a bill much higher than the estimate. Don't know how he sleeps at night. read more

Like the other reviews, they tried to charge me thousands of dollars more for my move. Also damaged personal property due to lack of proper packing. Still unresolved claims. They don't return calls. I would never! I mean NEVER! recommend this company for any moving needs either it be local, interstate or internationally. I THANKFULLY am not an unhappy customer however, I am a very unhappy ex-employee. I was hired in March of this year to take over the Customer Service and Claims Department. I was led to believe that I would be working for a nationally known and accredited business but this was not the case. On my very first day I was thrown into the deep end with customer claims that had been neglected for weeks some had not even been touched in months, with no contact made in any way to ensure their claims were in fact acknowledged and being worked on. I was to contact every customer to advise of who I was and to provide them with my contact information. Once those flood gates were opened, it was an absolute nightmare. I had customers with full coverage insurance that they pay ALLOT of money for and Frank and his wife/partner Chong go out of their way to make any issue that arises falls to another party. Frank is the WORST person to work for, always with-holding driver/helper pay for towing, dot inspection fees and damages encored during a move. Once I witnessed a long haul driver that returned from a 14 day haul open his paycheck and after all of the charge-backs he only received a 47.00 paycheck. There is no follow through!!! There was an umbrella stand with umbrellas and canes that needed to be shipped to a customer, it was already there when I started and after a request for packing and shipping on a daily bases FOR 6 WEEKS!!! It was still sitting their next to his office when I resigned. The kick in the teeth was the fact that he refused to allow me access to my last paycheck on my regular pay date and told me that I was not allowed back in the office or on the property. I have since filed a claim for process with the Department of Labor because I still have not been given/mailed or allowed access to my last paycheck from this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company. Sorry that I fell for a classic "moving scam!" The owner of the company cam to my home to do an estimate and was a great salesman. We walked through the entire home to do the estimate of costs and he came in at a much lower price than other companies. After looking over all estimates, we signed with Suncoast, and packed and shipped our entire household. I noticed things were a bit funky when I ended up having to help pack because the packers were having trouble packing in a reasonable amount of time, but I thought if I helped then I would save some money. NOT the case, after my items were loaded and trucked off I received a phone call from the Suncoast office stating that I owed $2000 more than the original $6000 quote, and they couldn't even tell me when my household would be delivered. It took four days to get Frank on the phone, who persisted to scream at me for about 10 minutes, then side step every which way to call me a lair and state that "I had snuck items on the truck to make it overweight." Still don't know when my household is being delivered, and now have to get a lawyer. So far not so good. Beware, don't get fooled like I did! read more

KEEP AWAY, we were promised one thing and given a nightmare. Our furniture was in storage for two months and when they were delivered, two of our most prized pieces were wet, water dripping and ruined. Estimator must have been getting kickbacks , they broke a six hundred dollar tree and he estimated it at fifty dollars, would love to shop with him. This has been a total joke, Frank the owner comes real professional and when they deliver items broken or wet, he's no where to be found. Customer service doesn't take care of you, don't return calls, it's a total nightmare. We moved from Naples Florida with our high quality furniture and over 10 pieces were either damaged or broken, over eight thousand dollars worth of items were paid at 1,000.00, all I can say is KEEP AWAY , go somewhere else, this company is a total ngihtmare to deal with , they're a joke. I'm so upset and disappointed that I would recommend them to my worst enemy. read more
