Just installed a new Generac 18kW backup generator. Phase 1 connected the new transfer switch and placement of the new unit - excellent job by Geraldo and Nate.,,, helpful and happy to explain everything. Suncoast Power Solutions Team of Josh, Donnie, Tyler and Jeremy were awesome . They installed my gas lines and 500 Gallon propane tank to perfection under very hot temperatures that were brutal. After they finished burying the tank and gas lines you could hardly tell any digging was done at all. It's obvious that this team cares about what they do and did everything in their power to protect my yard from a lot of damage. But what impressed me the most was how hard they worked under those tough conditions and performing at such a high standard. Generator not running tho FPL power is out & generator should start automatically. Had no electricity for about 8 hours. Had service and paid for 1-year Bronze Service 5 months ago. Have called repeatedly after getting monthly MobileLink notices of a generator "Fault." Told by SunCoast that according to their computer everything is OK. Called last night when power went out and Generac did not kick in. Pressed "1" for "generator emergency." Got a robot that said "Mailbox has not been set up." Am now looking for another Generac dealer/service company. read more

Suncoast maintained the planned installation schedule, and we were up and running as planned. Their installation team is very professional, from electrical, to gas, to start-up. I contacted another Kohler generator dealer to perform the annual service on our generator I was told that Suncoast Power Solutions installed the incorrect battery in our generator. The battery Suncoast installed was too large for the space provided and blocked nearly 70 percent of the engine/generator cooling air intake. This could result in overheating and or possible fire. It did result in another $170 out of my pocket to install the correct battery. True story, I've never seen anything like this in my life. read more

We had a generator installed by the Suncoast Power Solutions team. The installation is broken into two parts, an installation of the electrical equipment and then connecting to the existing natural gas lines. The electrical installation was seamless and the technicians were very efficient. The gas technician was very professional as well and had to do some more complex work to properly connect the system. The owners provided personal oversight to remedy any concerns and ensure the project was completed to the customer's satisfaction. read more

I was in a bit of a time crunch, so i decided to find a place to fix my pressure washer. I called Suncoast and spoke to a female, who was very pleasant, and told her my pressure washer was leaking fuel. She said to drop it off and her tech would look at it in the afternoon. So I brought it in and a different older female was at the front desk and I told her I was dropping off a pressure washer. She asked if I brought the hoses, I told her no, and she said they can't work on it without the hoses. I asked if they had any spare hoses to test it out with and she literally laughed in my face. I asked her why she was laughing at me and she told me that she had been there a long time (apparently that is an excuse to be rude). I asked, if they needed the hoses, why wasn't I told when I called? The thing about it is that the pressure washer was leaking fuel, just sitting there, so I'm not sure why the hoses would have been required anyway, but I didn't ask because I did not want to do business with people that treat customers this way. FYI, it was the O-ring on the carb bowl and I didn't need any hoses to figure it out. read more
