I had a Mohs surgery last month and was very impressed with Dr. Mirza and the staff. While my perception of the procedure was that I would be in the chair with the doctor through the entire procedure (my fault for unrealistic expectation), in actuality the doctor is juggling multiple patients. Count me as being very impressed with this choreography. Dr. Mirza and the staff were all personable and attentive. While I'd prefer not to have to have another surgery (perhaps another unrealistic expectation), I would gladly utilize Dr. Mirza and Suncoast Skin Solutions. read more

Always feel that Suncoast has been my husband's and my best move where in being out in the sun 5 to 7 days a week is concerned. I don't always like what I hear (re: treatments involving staying out of the pool for long periods of time, returning every 6mos. rather than yearly), but Dr. Moreno, I feel, has his patients' best interest in mind. This bad review doesn't have to do with Dr Moreno but with their staff, The appointment was for my son who is 20 years old and we arrived on time we were greeted my nurse who took us to a room but then decided to asked me if my son "special needs , this was a complete insult to my son and myself being part of my kids medical appointments should be questioned by a nurse! My son has had a history of skin issues and wanted to make sure Dr who is new to us had the full scoop needless to say skin cancer is a scary thing, as parent I wanted to be aware and fully informed. My son ended up getting a biopsy but the insult and judgmental treatment my nurse questioning my son's mental well being was definitely out of line and shouldn't be like that. I will never wish this treatment in anybody. I decided to talk to their office manager but her attitude was equally rude, very unfortunate because Dr Moreno seems like a nice competent Dr but unfortunately we won't be going back there. read more

The doctors may be okay, but if want to speak to someone in your doctor's office, there is just one main number to contact one of the 60 doctors in the 30+ locations. The centralized answering service then takes your information and the reason for your call and then they relay the message to the doctor. If they are missing any information for the doctor, they then have to call you back to get the information the doctor asked for. What a run around! And, when they call you back, there is no caller ID and comes in as Unknown or Potential Spam. This is my only doctor that has this system, I am able to call my other doctors' offices directly. I'll be looking for another dermatologist who is NOT affiliated with Suncoast Skin Solutions. read more

I came here to have a bump on my eye lid looked at and removed and to my disappointment the doctor was unable to help me today. This is a 5 star review because of his business/personal ethics. He looked and said that it was a cyst but that it was too close to my eye (right on my lid where I'd line with eyeliner) and that he would not feel comfortable doing it and it needs a surgeon that works specifically on eyes. He could have easily done it just for the $$ but he didn't and put my best interests first. He provided me with a name of a specialist that would be able to help me. I don't have health insurance and after calling around sun coast had by far the best rate. I got in the next day at this office, it was 40 mins from my house but worth the drive. I've had acne for a long time and I wanted to try a antibiotic, Julia examined my face and prescribed one with a cream. I was in and out in less than an hour and my co-pay was even cheaper than they quoted me. I just went for my 1st visit and was very happy. Making an appt was easy as was checking in upon arrival. I wanted an appt sooner than later so I chose to see the nurse practioner instead of waiting a couple weeks for the doctors availability. The nurse practioner was thorough and scanned me all over for skin cancer, which is the reason I went for this visit. She also froze a few skin tags so that they would disappear. If I could give this company a zero rating I would when I first went into the Brandon/Riverview office to be seen by Dr. Aaron Sookoo, I thought highly of this company my wife had been there without any issues. In February 2020 I was told that the spot on my forehead was nothing to be concerned about and was told to come back in a year. When I went in January this year I was told I had to have the spot on my forehead removed die to being cancer (Progressive Squamous Cell Carcinoma) to be exact. 6 trips to Moffit $6,000.00 in medical bills not covered by my insurance, missed time off work and now I am told I have to go back to Moffit for 4 weeks 5 days a week for radiation treatment. I asked Dr. Aaron Sookoo if there was anything he could do to help me out and hi response no I don't pay patients bills and there is nothing more he could do. If Dr. Aaron Sookoo had done his job correctly in February 2020 I would not be going through this right now read more
