I stopped by SunCoast Tan while my son was at basketball practice in Ontario. I searched yelp and luckily found this place. It's VERY clean, reasonably priced, and they offer free hair bands! Which is awesome bc I always forget to bring one! I also loved that there were Sanitizing wipes available in the room, which I usually bring myself to wipe my hands clean of tanning/ bronzing lotion. It's just nice to have those there just in case. Leann, the owner was at the front desk, she is very helpful and sweet. She is also pretty, personable, and very well put together which I think is important when you are the face of your business. I went in today for my first ever Mystic Tan and although the young girl that helped me was AWESOME, I have to say my tan wasn't. :( Not impressed at all! I chose this particular tanning salon, after careful online research, reading reviews, etc. I made sure to exfoliate, not use lotion, perfume, or deodorant before my tanning session, just as I read online. When I arrived, I explained to the young lady I had thoroughly prepared for my tan and that this was my first time trying a Mystic Tan. I shared with her I use to be an avid tanner, until I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma (skin cancer) in late 2014. I went on to tell her I tan very easily, but since I cannot be in the sun AT ALL, I use a lot of self tanners now. She was very nice, explaining to me how it all works and upselling with a tanning "booster", etc, so my expected $24 tan turned into a $39 tan within a matter of minutes. After waiting the reccomended 8 hours before i showered, to ensure the deepest dark tan, I have to say I am thoroughly disappointed! I seriously could have spent the $39 on a really good at home self tanner and achieved a much darker, richer tan. Great customer service, but horrible Mystic Tan. read more

I came here actually by mistake, I got confused from the last place I went to. I decided to get the mystic tan anyways because of the reviews. The lady that helped me was very nice and color matched me but I was very dissatisfied of my mystic tan I was not tan at all after except for my feet and hands. No color anywhere else. Very disappointing and I waited up to 12 hours to shower. I prepped my skin the way I'm supposed to. Looks like from the reviews, getting sprayed by someone is the way to go but I definitely don't recommend the mystic here. I've had a mystic tan done somewhere else for cheaper that I loved so I'll be going back there. Inside has a very cute boutique if wanting to shop. read more

I have a birthday coming up and I'm traveling to Cancun this weekend I've never gotten a tan before. I'm Mexican and I'm pretty tan already so I was like what for?? But since I'm going out of town I was like I want to look nice. I had my appointment at 10 AM on a Thursday there was already someone ahead of me and one behind me. I waited like a good 5-10 min for me to be greeted. She was actually alone and had people in the back. When she came out she was really friendly and she knew the people before and after me. They have a lot of regulars. Once I was in the back she asked what I wanted and how dark? So I just wanted even skin tone and a little heart by my hip. (Super cute) I got undressed she didn't make me feel awkward or anything I felt relaxed she was really nice. Overall experience I loved it! And I will be back. The sun has not been kind to me over the years and I have had skin cancer removed several times. My daughter's wedding is quickly approaching and the dress I am wearing is quite pale (close to my pasty skin tone) so I need some color on my skin so my dress looks better. I was very apprehensive to get a spray tan because I didn't want to be orange. Last week I did a trial run and Amanda did a great job with airbrushing my skin! Perfect suntan color with NO orangey tint. She is sweet and very professional. I will go back in just days before the wedding so I feel amazing on my daughter's big day!
