*Update* I hesitated to add to this review but I will. If you have the opportunity to go to a different establishment, please do. This place is ran by kids who don't know how to actually run a business. The staff here lacks basic customer service skills from the phone to when you walk in. It's the basics guys, it's not rocket science. I originally had an appt scheduled for 3pm. However, I had a change in schedule which I called if they're available to move the appt up earlier. I asked if 11am worked which the manager Nelly, whom the appt was scheduled with, agreed to seeing my appt at that time. I get there at 10:55am we walk in, nobody greeted me. At this time, someone is in Nelly's chair- ok he's almost done, don't have a problem waiting a little bit. The time goes by and they get walk ins, in which they were serviced given we have been waiting to be attended to. We are still waiting, the time is already 45 after 11. Nelly acknowledges we are there and hands my appt to another barber. Ok, that barber had someone in his chair too. That's fine, we will keep waiting again. Now it's already 12/12:15 the new barber gets a call which he takes. My son is in his chair waiting. Whomever this barber was on the phone with, he says "I don't know he just came out of nowhere so I have to cut". This guy resumes cutting my son's hair. Now time passes by and another call comes in. This barber stops cutting mid hair cut a good 15 minutes go by. At this point not one barber in sight. Another barber comes out and says sorry and I then proceeded to express my frustration that this is not ok. It was now 12:40pm and the barber comes back and resumes the hair cut. Meanwhile, Nelly who we had the original appointment with is just hanging out doing nothing. After 2 hours and 10 minutes, we finally left the establishment. If I was the parent running a business with my child and this happened to a customer of mine, I'd be completely embarrassed! Nobody should experience this type of service! AVOID GOING HERE!!!! Customer service is horrible. The way they answer the phone is super unprofessional and uninviting. Being kind goes a long way especially if you're running a business. I went here as a walk in on Monday away from my normal Barber because I needed a haircut and I work down the street from here. They took me immediately as a walk in which was cool. They don't have prices up which isn't a big deal, but $38 for a less below average haircut? That price is steep, at most I would say it was worth $20. Did a skin fade and they didn't use a blade to shave just clippers? Every barber I've been to is always a hot towel then shave on a skin fade. Mediocre haircut at best for $38 (should have went to great clips for $18). To top it off they charged me an additional $10 on top of my tip I gave them (making it a $15 tip) taking my total to $53 instead of $43 because I tipped $5. Had to put in a fraud claim with my bank for them to investigate this shop. So always make sure you check your bank statement after paying. As soon as I walked in I knew almost immediately that I should've gone to another place and I was sure right. I walked in as a walk in and I wasn't greeted or told anything. I sat there for about thirty minutes waiting for one of the two barbers to be done. When he told me to come over, he acted like he didn't even want to do his job and his customer service was awful. As he was talking, I knew he was high on the job as well due to the weed smell on his breath and on himself as well. I sat down, asked for a low taper with a textured top and showed him an example picture. All is going well until he gets to the texturing and he is very rough with it to the point where it feels like he's just ripping the hair out of my scalp. He never apologizes for the roughness or the pain he might've brought and just continued. He also never showed me my haircut as we were going through it and had me constantly turned around away from the mirror leaving me staring at a blank wall. Anyway, the haircut is done and he FINALLY turns me around the he gave me a f*cking bowl cut. Not sure how, but he gave me a perfectly circular bowl around my entire head without even using a bowl. My husband and son just got home and it's safe to say overall not a good experience. My sons cut itself was fine. What isn't fine is the customer service. The constant cussing, inappropriate music for a place that offers services meant for kids and lack of kindness to the person sitting in the chair. What a joke of a barber shop. There were 4 barbers working, all roughly in their mid 20's. I spent an hour watching these four clowns talk back and forth amongst each other while cutting hair. When you have 8 customers waiting how about you STFU and do your job? When they still had 3 customers waiting, one of the barbers finished his cut and left for lunch. How do you leave customers waiting like that? Most of the conversation included cussing and talking about how teenage girls just want to give up their $ussy and get pregnant. When I approached the barber after I realized he was butchering my son's hair I could tell he was high as a kite and didn't even care. Here are some other observations I made..... 6 separate customers came in and they were turned away and told they were booked all day. I watched one of the kids just stare at his phone for the half hour I was there. Also they blared profanity laced music the entire time and then were having conversations about personal things that they in no way should've been talking about. I went into my local barbershop to get my haircut today and thought due to the high prices they must be good. I showed the barber a picture of the haircut I wanted and also explained to him that I would like a low drop fade and to grow out the top and sides of my hair. After my haircut I was not given a mirror or any time to check out my haircut. Once I got to my car I looked over my haircut and was really disappointed. The line up was blocky and the barber did not do any type of fading to my hair. I returned to the shop and told the barber how dissatisfied I was with the service. The barber agreed to fix it. After he finished I was even more dissatisfied because he brought the fade way to high and did not blend out the haircut leaving several hard lines in my hair. This barbershop clearly is not experienced and does not care about their clients. Amazing hair cuts. Everyone is extremely talented and everyone knows how to give a true barber hair cut. My son and husband always get their haircuts here, every two weeks. The price is $17 per hair cut that we get, for a skin fade. You get what you pay for and these hair cuts are definitely worth it. However, one of their biggest cons and the only reason I did not give them five stars is because is needs better management. You will wait over an hour and the haircut itself is not the reason the wait is so long. Barbers take lunch breaks during peak hours and often leave a room full of customers waiting, with 1-2 barbers, due to lunch breaks. Plenty of barbers to go around. If we could see some better time management from them, this place could easily be 5 stars. Overall, great place. read more

My husband went for a hair cut yesterday. The guy who cut his hair didn't even talk to him. My husband felt like a burden when he was paying for a $25 hair cut. It was rushed, and not well done. The guy didn't even put any product in it after. His hard part is barely there and over all it was just shoddy work done by a rude guy. We won't be back. We were hoping that the local barber in our own neighborhood would be a new spot for all of our boys. Guess we are going back to Goodyear. I took my brother, who has Down Syndrome, in and they made us feel uncomfortable. We walked in, weren't greeted, sat down and waited our turn. A little into the wait I felt unwelcome and started looking for another barber in the area. I asked my brother if he wanted to go somewhere else, he said no. When he was seated in the chair and took off his mask the other barbers started to stare at him. My brother knows when people are staring and starts looking down not to make eye contact. I told the barber how I wanted it cut and sat down. I could see them continue to look at him throughout his cut. At the end the barber didn't bother to show my brother his hair (which other barbers do and he enjoys it). He told him he was done then it was time to pay. I get they are young guys but they could be more professional/compassionate if working with the public. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN DEALING WITH THE MANAGER.. been going to this shop for years before the actual manager in charge now was even an employee.. I've observed this manager/barber throughout the years really make people feel uncomfortable on numerous occasions. I've noticed people try to explain a specific cut and the whole time he's holding in this smirk as if he wants to bust out laughing at the personal request or description of what they want(which I thought I was crazy). so ok time goes by and I eventually sent/ referred my neighbors kid over to them and he came back with the same feeling an when I asked who cut his hair he mention the same person. I myself try to stick to other barbers just to avoid him, but recently I took my son to get his haircut with him because my sons barber was off ans he was taking pics. My son has a rat tail we are growing and a tail in front as well, I specific asked him to NOT TOUCH THE TAIL we want it to keep growing ..he said ok .. next thing I know the tail we had started was gone!!. Ok so I take his excuse and leave, couple weeks Later we go back for sons cut and mine as well. regular barber for my son was in so I was HAPPY about that. I myself had to be at work couple hours later so I decided ok I'll let my son go with his normal barber and I'll go with the MANAGER just to save time so we can both get cut and I can make it to work. The manager proceeds to tell me " I cannot cut you I'm going to lunch" so I said ok. well needless to say he came back from lunch saw I was still waiting for a cut and he proceeded to take another customer that arrived way after me!!!. at this point he's cutting the mans hair and making sure to not make eye contact with me the whole time..pretty much I left without a haircut that day!!. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this shop and have never had an issue till this person arrived at the shop. I made my sons barber aware of all the issues and he felt he would try to talk to him (as if there is no chain of command or somewhere higher to hear this) I have read some other reviews that REALLY MATCH what I see from him and it's sad because mostly everyone else is fairly cool. This past Thursday I attempted to get my cut and my sons cut again for a family trip and we arrived around 8:30 am saw shop doors open and customer inside talking to manager so we i tried to get into lobby (to establish our spot knowing you can wait hours in a shop) he proceeded to say "we're not open till 9am" so ok me and my sons went back to car and waited as he finished up with customer inside.. long story short the vibe and service has went down hill since he arrived. I have numerous other things I can mention but at this point I feel finding another shop is the solution after knowing I spend a consistent 50-60$ each visit to be treated like that. He's the skinnier tall young man that looks maybe native American/mexican. I was told he's the manager now and if I have any issues I would have to tell him how I feel. It's just this one chubby type of person they had working there today, and he don't know how to cut at all, I asked for a fade right, this dude didn't even cut the part that was supposed to be faded right, I had more hair than I wanted on there, and when I said something about it.
