Needed to get my new beard trimmed. Never has a beard so I was unsure just what it needed. Went to Cost Cutters and the girl kept asking me how did I want it trimmed. I said I have no idea. Wife says it looks scraggly. Can you trim it and make it less scraggly? CC girl, well how to you want it cut. Left CC. Went to Yelp and found D'Man. Told the girl the same story. She said ok and began trimming. Plus she cleaned up from CC bad hair cut. Trimmed ear hair, hot towel, straight razor to clean up lines and topped it off with a quick massage. Wife loves the trim!! Second visit, second good haircut. 2 different barbers both good cuts. Nice folks. New business. I enjoyed my haircuts. However, the new "No Firearms permitted on premises" sign means I will not be back. I won't give up my right to protect myself and my son so we can get a haircut. Remove the signs and I'll be back. Update: They removed the "no firearms sign". I've been going back for a while now and they are great. My son's favorite place to get his hair cut. read more

Make sure you ask the staff to show you with their fingers, how much they think 1 inch is. Is this rocket science or do these people need to know in centimeters? They cut way too much hair. I only said, "take an inch off the top." UNA PULGADA! UNA! ONE! 1! The other issue is that they NEVER MAKE YOU FACE THE MIRROR, so you only get to know if they screwed up at the end. I've been here before but the last barber actually listened to what I had to say. This one just did whatever the F*** she wanted. The barber shop next to the True Value hardware store is a great spot, but they are always packed. I started coming to D'man a couple of months ago because of the long waits. I sit with Teri. She does a great job and there is never a wait. The shop is nice and clean with sports on TV all the time. $17 gets you a cut, razor clean up around the ears and collar, hot towel wrap, astringent pat down, along with a shoulder massage before a quick blow out to clean up loose hairs. This spot does a great job and deserves some more business from the people of Goodyear! It's in a nice shopping center next to the post office. It's worth your time and $ to give them a shot. I recently went here since the girl I use to go left her job. Wow. This place was amazing! The place was clean and inviting. Israel was the guy that cut my hair and he did a fantastic job. Unfortunately the nice girl that helped me doesn't know how to handle a beard. Too soft a touch and I could have did a better job at home. Also took one hour and fifteen minutes to shave my head and lineup my beard. Came out a very unhappy customer and I paid $35!!! It just seems like the girl needs a heck of a lot more practice doing beards. My search for a decent barber continues. read more

Let me start by saying how much I love this place. They've just opened and I've sat twice in their chairs. I have visited two barbers here and both times the results were fantastic. I'm pretty persnickety about who I trust with my hair-- I have long hair and a big beard; my mom says I look like a hobo. About a month ago I got a beard trim that turned out sculpted and flattering. The lady was kind and unobtrusive. That was my test run before deciding if I would return to Vivaldi. Today I opted for a manbundercut and beard trim which was done with expedience. They are beyond capable and the warm shave and shoulder massage is an added bonus. I'll be going here every month as a treat to myself. Everybody should try it out: kids, dudes with beards, military, mohawkers, they can do it all. read more

I have been there 3 times. Joseph has given me my cut the first time and once by another barber but I cannot recall her name. Both were great cuts and were very detail oriented, not to mention good conversation. This is the best cut I have had! In addition, the shop is very clean and located next to a doughnut shop. Went in for a razor fade. Got cut up like I was in a knife fight. Asked to see the barbers credentials and they refused to show me. Most likely because he wasn't licensed. Told the alleged "manager" on he was required to by law. "Manager" asked me to step outside as if he wanted to fight. He basically told me that he didn't have to show me anything. Eventually the person (not a barber) who literally cut me said I could see the credentials. He told me where it was and said I could get it. When I did get it, the manager grabbed the frame from me causing my finger to cut and the frame to fall breaking the glass. They tried threatening to call the police, I obviously encouraged them to. One, because they violated state licensing laws. Two, I am a police officer and knew that if police did show up they would likely have been arrested for assault and state licensing issues. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I walk in and ask for an inch off the top and a taper fade but it ends up being shorter than an inch and they completely missed the taper fade. I've been going here since they first opened and now they suddenly give me a terrible cut. They also messed up my 8 year old brothers hair and he got the same thing I got. We both just got two different results. read more

I was looking for more like a really low fade look and the barber kinda ruined my style he did like high fade I think. He cut some of the hair that I'm been trying to grow for a long time and the line on the side looks horrible. Maybe it was my fault I didn't explain well. read more

You can not beat this place, especially for the price. It is a newer spot, clean and the lady who did my hair was great. I told her, once, what I needed and she did exactly what I asked. After the cut was done she pulled out the straight razor and cleaned everything up, finished with a hot towel and shoulder/neck massage.
