Sundance Dental has failed me on every possible level, and I cannot possibly give a review that does justice to the incompetence and greed of this CORPORATION. I went to the Sundance office in Gallup last December for a complete set of dentures, very expensive and self-paid to the tune of some $4000 or so. I am retired and on a fixed income - this represents a significant proportion of my life savings. More than I spent on my car. Gone. For LESS THAN NOTHING! What did I get? I received a set of dentures that were unacceptable. The lower was way too loose and would not stay in. They rescanned my mouth and made a second lower - too tall, to the point that they are impossible to use, I can't chew anything at all with them. But wait, there's more! As an additional bonus, they relined my old dentures, using their failed scan, so now those no longer fit as well. Thanks! Now I am using my new upper and my old (relined) lower to mush my food up as they are not properly aligned and they don't really cut anything. I'm worse off than before. But the horror does not end with ill-fitting dentures and ruined old ones. I paid my bill online, as soon as received. The bill did not include certain deductions, and I paid about $369 more than I owed. Last December. They have admitted that I overpaid, promised a refund, and yet do not issue a refund. Even after being contacted by the Better Business Bureau - they told the BBB "a refund is being processed". Lie. Next step - small claims court. They will no doubt lie their way out of it. I strongly urge anyone seeking dental care too avoid this place like the plague!! This is a profit centered CORPORATION that: 1. Has minimized contact with an actual dentist (I doubt if I spent more than 15 minutes with a dentist I all my visits. Almost all work has been parted out to dental techs). 2. The lack of contact with an actual dentist results in a very low level of care, i.e. incompetence. 3. They are so greedy they will not even issue a refund for an acknowledged overpayment. 4. This is a corporation concerned only with profit. I will spend the rest of my life convincing people NOT TO GO TO SUNDANCE DENTAL. Don't make my mistake. Find an independent dentist who actually cares about people. read more

Got some non functioning dentures and they were baby teeth once I finally realized. They seem like they just want to hurry and get you out of the office. Would never recommend them to anyone. Cant chew with them and never get a good suction. They are nothing but a rip-off. Id say just go out of town and get better care. They treat medicaid patients different than others. The techs do all the work and you might get 5 minutes with the actual dentist. read more

My husband has been a patient here for a few months. He is so pleased with the care he's received that he recommended it to me. The staff ~ receptionists, dental assistant, dentists ~ are exceptional. They really are great at their jobs. The prices are reasonable and the care and professionalism is far above the usual. We are very pleased with this office and look forward to a long relationship. read more

After sharing my experience with a couple of people, I was convinced to give Sundance Dental another shot (different doctor). I'm glad I did. First of all, I was more than an hour early as I had a different doctors appointment just prior to the dentist. They got me in immediately even though I was perfectly happy to wait. Today I saw Dr Wilde and he is the NICEST person. He listened to me; heard what I was saying and helped me make an informed decision about the fate of one of my teeth. He was compassionate and said several times to let him know if I was experiencing pain so he could give me more Novocain. I'm definitely going back to Sundance Dental. But I won't see Dr Whitehead again. read more

Poor dental experience for those on medicaid as they treat them differently this clinic even have a lower level workstations for them, they don't return phone calls voicemails are always full. If you wanna have a wonderful experience, then get served on the higher level only. read more

My sister comes here she loves the service they give! I came her for a toothache as a walk-in and BOOM they took care of me right away! They did a cleaning and also took care of my toothache! I came back for an appointment they scheduled for me and when I was done they offered me some ice cream! Chocolate Strawberry Orange Are the flavors. My teeth feel fine just a little sore from the needle where I was numb, I think I bit the side of my mouth or something but I'll be fine. read more

If you are Medicaid Patient DO NOT go here. My initial experience was great. However, 1.5 years later I still have cavities the were present on my first exam and X-rays. Now the cavity is so bad they say I need a root canal and a crown. This cavity was treatable with a basic filling until November of 2023. I've had frequently appointments. I've brushed and flossed as directed. I even invested in a water pic. I've other dental issues that were denied. I've asked for them to appeal the denials...they never did. I was told today that there is a paper I would have needed to sign...I was never given this paper or told it existed. I've been trying diligently to contact the office since late November id either get a ring then a busy signal and then in early January the line would just ring and ring... No opportunity to leave a voicemail not that they ever returned any of my calls before. I've worked hard all my life I've no other experience with Medicaid type services. I've been made to feel that I've not mattered. I've gotten subpar care at this Sundance Dental. If you want you oral health to be taken seriously, if you want to feel as if you matter... PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Please spare you dignity and your heart from the trauma this office inflicts. read more

Sundance Dental was a great experience from booking my appointment to meeting with Dr Shaheen for a filling repair. This office is up to date with all their equipment and techniques. I was truly impressed with Dr Shaheen's approach and attention, I will definitely go back for any future dental needs and cleanings. Every person that I interacted with at Sundance Dental was extremely pleasant and this was a great place to visit. Prices were very reasonable, I had to pay out of pocket and I felt that the rates for the level of service were on point. read more

The staff at Sundance Dental Group was amazing! While away from home on military orders, a tooth began causing problems. I called Sundance and they got me in that afternoon to take care of it. Dr. Jennings and his Dental Assistants were wonderful! They took care of the problem and made me feel at home.
