Incredibly nice and accommodating front desk staff on phone and in person. Tv wasn't working so called front desk and maintenance was at room within minute's and fixed it. Nice grounds and pool area. i noticed the rug was a little ragged at edge by bathroom. Sitting on the couch I realized it felt a little 'used'. The rest of the room was clean and showed pride of maid staff. HVAc was a little loud for my liking. We left for an evening event and left ac on 'sleep mode' and returned with a particular musty smell upon entering. The noisy HVAAC was too loud to make a restful sleep so I turned off while sleeping. Glad the fan was there as it kept us fairly comfortable with the night temperature around 70. Refrigerator kept turning on and off making noise throughout the night. Couldn't turn it off because son had insulin in there. The breakfast provided in the am was quite adequate. The usuals I personally liked like malt waffles, eggs, yogurt and sausages. They also had hard boiled eggs, pastries bread assortment cereal. The eating area was very clean and kept up nicely by the one person staff there. It would have been hard for me to stay more than one evening here as that's all we needed to stay for our event.

The room itself was clean and cozy, and overall we slept really well. I did take a couple stars off because we ran into a few hiccups: the mosquitoes were out in full force when we hung out at the pool, the Jacuzzi wouldn't heat back up properly after our dip, and the AC in our suite was only working well in the back room. The front room never really got cold. Still, even with those issues, it was a nice stay. It was comfortable, quiet, and a solid spot for a good night's rest.

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable excellent shower with good water, pressure and hot water. One complaint I have is that they use water softener, which made it hard to get the soap off. They are pet friendly with a reasonable pet charge. The pet area is to the left of the hotel facing the front door. Clean hallways and nice brick, refrigerator and microwave with two complementary branded water bottles. This is a nice high-end hotel, I was treated very well by the staff and I will stay here again.

No rules stating this is a problem. But Sandy either really was offended by our tent or maybe the color of my partner's skin. Hard to determine, but when we asked to extend our stay, she said they didn't have any tent sites available. Strange comment because this is an RV park and they don't have tent sites. Then she said they were booked through first part of January. I said well maybe we'll check in mid January to see if there were any spots available. She said they were booked through February then she added that they were actually booked through April. I got the hint. We're not welcome here. The other weekend manager, Sandy #2 the nice one as she's known in the park, saw us packing up and said she would find us a site. She did. Suddenly they were not booked through April. We were told the tent offended the first manager. We decided to leave since we were not welcomed. We will never be back. This was the worst experience we've ever had at an RV "Resort." People of color beware. 1/19/23 - visited the place today b/c Amazon incorrectly sent our package there and noticed there were at least 7 unoccupied spaces. Will be following up with @goodsam since they're members. Maybe they can do something so others don't have terrible experiences.

Really helped keep my daughter and I engaged in the content. We had a great tour guide who wrote a more in depth book. He was entertaining, kept things moving. The short film is also a good introduction. Even at the end of February, the sun was fierce. Wish we would have brought hats and water. I have forgotten how dry it can be. While it wasn't hot, the sun felt unrelenting. Highly recommend stopping and enjoying the site. A great piece of American history.

But if your looking for a click, unfriendly, stuck up attitude, I'm better than you type of place, then head to Yuma, there are plenty of those to choose from. Me, I preferred this one and believe me, I have experienced those others and it's not for me. Coach Stop is an exceptional RV Resort Park. I'd still be there had I not lost my hubby after 26 years. Wish I could have stayed. The Staff goes up and beyond to help you and I'm ever so grateful to each and everyone of them!

Two Concerns: Air and Water quality: As always, I researched…read moreonline reviews for this RV park. The reviews all mentioned the air quality. Since we are from Texas, I thought the concern mentioned was just city folks not being around cattle. Let me say we were hit with the "shog" as the locals call it while sitting outside drinking wine. The shog or sh*t fog was so overwhelming it caused me to become nauseated and the smell of cattle manure penetrates your clothes and hair. We went inside the RV and the smell was still overwhelming even after we closed all windows/vents. Hubby contacted the office and he was told that this year had been the worst. We drove over to the cattle feedlot in Tacna, AZ where the smell originates, which has about 500,000 head per their website. When the wind blows from the south prepare yourself because even a facial mask will not block the stink! The online reviews mentioned the high salt content in the RV park's water. This review also was spot on. The RV Park does offer free reverse osmosis water which does remove some of the salt; however, the water is still very salty. If you use an additional water filter system such as Brita it will remove the remaining salt. We ended up buying bottled water to cook with and drink. When you take a shower the water leaves behind a film of salt. Be sure to use bottled water to brush your teeth or rinse out your mouth. For these concerns alone, we will not be returning to this RV park. This was so disappointing because we love the mountains, the desert, and beautiful sunsets.

Lateral roads are better. DON'T STAY NEXT TO entrance roads. NO, rule enforcement speed in park or anything else. Everyone speeds, FedEx, UPS, garbage ATV'S etc. ENTRANCE ROADS ON SOUTH SIDE OF PARK (ENTRANCE) Extremely dusty. WATER- Park water is bad, bad for RV System. Fresh water is available for free. SHOWERS- 1 working shower for guys, 2 for gals. Needs serious cleaning. SITE SIZE- really nice large spaces easy in and out with nice drive thrus for overnight spots. LAUNDRY- Is good, plenty of working machines, clean. Washers- $1.50 Dryers- $1.25 NOISE- Some noise from military training but not excessive. Lots of trains but far enough away to not be disruptive. STAFF- All are friendly and helpful. Understanding on dust and park speeds but can't fix apparently. Unless you atv and go riding in the desert there is nothing here. A drive to Wellton is necessary for most anything. We did visit the prison in Yuma. Good restaurant in Tacna Whistle Stop, good breakfast closes early. Ann, is the best.
