It is well lit and organized, super fun to walk around and explore the options. The employee who helped me out, Wayne, was very knowledgeable and passionate about leather making. He showed me his work in the shop and walked with me to pick out things that I may need to get into the hobby. You can tell he is really there to help you rather than trying to upsell you things you do not need. Which I ended up buying maybe more than what I need anyways since it was such a pleasant experience. 10/10 recommend and would be back again!

The Leather Genie made custom belts for me which was a gift for my boyfriend. I actually got 2 of them and he loved them both. The simpleness of just a belt was made with such great craftsmanship. Anyway, after scouring her special 'shoe closet' I had to build to contain her hobby I located them. Making a command decision on my own I went to this cobbler in Ct since our very very local one has retired. I was EXTREMELY surprised at the work done. They came back polished and all the tiny nics on the heel leather had been fixed as best as possible but they look as good as new. They were both done without me asking and for the price of $15.00 I feel well worth it. Definitely have found a new cobbler !!!
