I felt awful because I meant to wake up earlier so they wouldn't have to go out in the heat. A very nice guy came by like 20 minutes later with my order. I asked him if I could tip over cash app or Venmo because I didn't have any cash and you couldn't tip on the site. He absolutely refused, I insisted, and he told me that he wasn't even the delivery guy. He said that they gave the delivery fairies a couple days off because it was so hot. I'm not sure if he was the manager or what, he had a lot of tattoos up and down his arms and was white or light skinned (the lighting is horrible in my hallway), but he was so sweet! I have a broken ankle right now but once I can get out of the house I am showing up there and tossing a 20 in the tip jar. I've lived in Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and NY. I'm so happy that dispensaries finally are showing up here, in this place has the best selection, best service, best prices (relative to New York), & best vibes of any dispensary I've ever used. With taxes and fees, my total came to $45. I prefer to pay cash, so when I came in to pick up my order, I expected to pay the $45 shown on my order receipt. Instead, I was told the total was $57. I pointed out that the receipt on the bag clearly showed $45, but the employee said he didn't know how to fix the price. He then asked if I wanted to purchase just one item, but since it was a BOGO deal, that didn't really solve the issue. He showed me his screen, where the items were showing as $50 each, even though my online order had been confirmed at the lower price. If I had paid online, I would have been charged the $45 shown on my receipt. I understand that pricing systems can have issues, but good customer service would have been to honor the price I placed the order for rather than making me pay more because of an issue on the store's end. The prices are not as horrible as one might expect considering the rent here must be bananas, and the staff was cool. We had a couple hiccups surrounding my own confusion around cartridges and more (I am not very experienced in all this), but a lovely woman named Mya helped me out and we figured it all out.
