My husband and I ordered our custom draperies from Patrick two+ months ago (almost three), and as of today, and 4 trips later to our home, we still do not have all of our drapes hung (we only ordered drapes for two rooms). Unfortunately, during each visit something was missing or backordered. The latest issue is two of the panels that were too long when they were delivered the first time still have not been replaced. We have also had to wait for the correct rods and ends to be delivered as well. Although Patrick has been very nice to work with, this process has been very inconvenient for us. All along, my husband and I have been very understanding and patient, but at this point, we're not sure if we have the patience to go through this again. Hopefully, Patrick and Budget Blinds can make this right. It seems that most of the issues are distributor driven; however, we do not think that these issues have been addressed with as much urgency as we'd expect. Currently, we are paying for blinds that we don't fully have installed yet. Unfortunately, if asked today, I'm not sure that we could refer this company for draperies; perhaps blinds are a different story.

Sears Optical has surpassed my expectations and has treated me better than any of the other places I have gone. The manager (I think his name was Dillon) was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a busy day, but I never once felt ignored. He took his time to provide advice on options for my glasses and various promotions. If I had questions, he was happy to answer them. As I was trying to decided between several pairs of frames, I noticed that he seemed to remember the names of all of his returning customers. You don't see that in stores anymore. It was a friendly environment to shop in and the customer service is clearly top notch. They truly care about their customers. His associate was very friendly and lovely to work with as well. After talking with the doctor about my previous history and problems with contacts, she discussed a wide range of options that I could try. She took her time and listened to my concerns. As it turns out, I had to switch to a different type of contact due to a sensitivity that I have with the cleaners. It helped immensely! I wish someone would have picked up on this years ago! I'm seriously impressed! Not only did I end up with an affordable pair of glasses that I love, I received a discounted pair of sunglasses. When I stopped in last to purchase another set of contacts, they did an adjustment to my regular glasses. I saw that they had several new styles of sunglasses, so it seems that they frequently offer new merchandise. On my visit to pick up my glasses, they discovered my script was inputted incorrectly when ordering. They corrected/re-entered the script and ordered again. I chalked that up to an honest mistake. After 4 weeks since 1st order, I was contacted that my glasses were ready for pick up. Again, my glasses were incorrect but this time they blamed the lens manufacturer. At that time I was told they could send to another lens manufacturer but Advanced Eye would "eat the costs." So, they placed the third order. Another order was placed with the original lens manufacturer. I arrived a week or so later to pick up the glasses. At that time I mentioned that I was having problems seeing far clearly, but figured I'd give it a week to get used to. After a week I revisited since I couldn't wear the glasses due to the vision issue. The rep mentioned he didn't know why they marked the distance vision where they did. I had to tilt my head down to see far. He offered to remake the glasses. I said, nope, I'm done. Please refund my order. After at least several calls/messages to both the billing office and billing manager asking where my refund was, and never receiving a call back from anyone, I received an email indicating I would receive a credit. However the credit was short $200 with no explanation. I have tried to contact the office about this and they won't return my calls. Absolutely horrible to deal with. Do not recommend. I continue to try to get the money they owe me. 11/20/2024 As an update, to the above review, my husband recently visited Advanced Eye Care about the reduced refund. After waiting a very long time to speak with a manager, he was told returns are prorated. My husband asserted, even after the glasses were incorrectly made several times due to their errors? The mgr pointed to wall signs posted. At no time during my many visits was this pointed out. Had I been told no 100% refunds, I would have stuck it out and tried another attempt at getting my eyewear correct. Very long story short, we will never use their services again. Essentially my $1,000+ glasses (after insurance $553), cost me $200 for no eyewear, hours of travel time back and forth due to their errors and frustration. Not to mention, at no time did staff ever return my calls. Buyer beware.

Usually it's something like a Pandora piece or something when they have their unbelievable sales in September or October. Things are marked down to 70% off and there's usually a very good inventory to choose from. All of the associates there are charming, but there is one who I frequently work with named John who is remarkable. He was not there when I went into the store today and a wonderful lady named Kelly helped me. Several days ago, I took a watch in to have a battery replaced to see if the watch would still work . This watch was a watch that my mother had worn about 20 years before she passed away, and she's been gone for about that long now. The watch was a good one, but the brand wasn't a name that anybody is familiar with. It had the most marvelous leather strap that was a muted multicolor and I remember my mom wearing it quite vividly. The strap was in poor condition, and Kelly suggested that I take the watchband to a little shoe repair shop next-door to the jewelry store. She was also able to show me options for the band that they sold at her store , but she could sense that I really wanted to keep the leather band that I already had for sentimental reasons so she made this other helpful suggestion . Thank you Saxons for again doing amazing work and getting my Mother's watch running again after so very many years, and thank you for having the type of sales people who can connect to their customers easily and make the shopping experience a great one. This reminds me of 'Miracle on 34th St.' in way , when Santa sent people to other stores to find the presents for the kids when they did not have the products people were looking for.
