They…read morerecommended what I thought at the time to be very expensive lenses, because they claimed, first time bifocal users had less issues adjusting to these more costly lenses. I was suspicious that I might be being up sold. After over a year there was scratch in one lense and the Eyeglass Factory replaced my lenses under their special extended warranty. They were absolutely terrific about this and I hadn't expected this level of service. I didn't even realize that the warranty was there. My prescription changed this year and I just ordered new glasses today and the newest optician to join their staff was absolutely terrific. She very carefully explained some of the newer features and options and I'm looking forward to see how blue filter sense filters will improve or protect my vision going forward. I'm pretty much careful with my money (maybe if I had more I could be more careless) but in this case selling me on the more expensive lenses was the right thing to do. This shop carries some name brand frames, but this is just something it also does. It main strength is professional services. The store owners are a couple who are both licensed opticians. I usually start from deciding on a pair of frame. After this, the magic begins. The optician patiently observes how a frame sits on my face, uses a machine to measure the eye focal points, marks the focal points on lens. These markings ensure that I can see well when I wear the eyeglasses. When I pick up the frame, the optician carefully adjusts the nose piece and ear arms to ensure the focal points match my eyes. I can tell you that you cannot get this level of professional optical services from a salesperson. They also offer minor after sales services such as readjusting the ear arms, replacing the nose shoes, for free. The shop carries both famous and unknown lens. It carries both designer label and unknown frames. Their pricing on both frames and lens are competitive.

I keep coming back because of the amazing customer service from the two owners. They're always helpful, give good suggestions and their prices are reasonable. They have a variety of frames available from brand names to Asian brands. They're also willing to wait for you if you need to pick up your item a little after their closing hours. Just give them a call ahead of time and they can accommodate. One of the nice things about this store is that if you need an adjustment on your glasses down the road, Ie your glasses loosen up or it feels a bit tight, you can always bring it back and they'd be happy to adjust it for you for free. It's hard to come by good customer service nowadays!

The worst part was every store I went to had awful customer service or literally not a single thing I wanted. I was desperate and worried I'd never get new glasses. Eight months into my search I finally found 312. First impression was good - Andrew, the owner, was helping other customers but still greeted us with a "hello", more than I could say for some other stores. The products are way more artistic and beautiful than run of the mill, and he helped identify what I liked and didn't, and was patient with me as I ended up coming in over 5 times to try things on!! Customer service never wavered and he was always honest and up front if something didn't look right or if he thought I'd regret it. Icing on the cake was a trunk sale with all the colours of Andy Wolf glasses, so I could see what they all looked like - that including Prosecco and Lindt chocolate! My glasses were expensive but so were many I looked at that were less impressive. Thanks to Andrew for his patience and he definitely made a lifetime customer out of me! This was the third store that I had visited after my unfortunate contact tear as none of the other stores I visited even cared to bat an eye. Was I pleasantly surprised. The inner store decor is pristine, clean, hip, and showcased a large array of high quality glasses and frames. The service is warm, friendly, and even before I purchased anything, they immediately gave me a free contact sample for comfort. No questions asked. In my many years or purchasing glasses I've never found a brand that is more comfortable and frames that are as durable as OGA. The current pair I'm wearing now are 4 years old and they could probably last another 4 or more. My prescription hasn't changed that much but it has changed slightly enough for me to get another pair. My last pair from here were sunglasses and the pair before where had Transitions ver 6. Pricing here is a little funny. The frames have price tags on them but the price you are quoted always is less than the "ticket" price. I paid for my pair upfront so I can get my receipt immediately and submit it for my benefit reimbursement. Since I've bought my last 3 pairs here I know I can trust them and that things will be just right. They had my measurements from last time so they didn't need to remeasure this time as my measurements were already stored on their computer system. I was in and out pretty quick which was good because I had somewhere to be right afterwards. With Transitions lenses they have to send them out to a lab which takes about a week which is fine because I have errands to run on the east end next weekend anyway.
