This is a terrible location!!! Don't shop here unless you want to be ripped off. TLDR; this store lies about Sunglass Hut policies in order to get money and does not care one bit about customer service. I went in to exchange a pair of Pradas I had purchased online. The email from Sunglass Hut with my receipt clearly stated "return or exchange at any Sunglass Hut location." When I arrived, I told the salesperson that I'd be exchanging the pair I bought online. He said "ok" and held onto the pair for me while I shopped. I will say, he was extremely nice and helpful, but that didn't even kind of make up for the rest of my experience. After spending an hour or so shopping and helping my mom pick out a pair of glasses, we went to check out. I decided to surprise my mom by purchasing her pair, too. However, when we went to check out, the salesman didn't know how to do the exchange. He called for the manager/owner (not sure which) who told me that she couldn't exchange them. When I asked why nobody told me that at the beginning, she told me that the salesman didn't know about this policy. Hmmm. She then told me my only option would be to return the pair I bought online and then purchase the others from her. She also said she couldn't do the refund in her store but could mail them in for me. I showed her the email that said I could return or exchange them at any location. She said, "yea, for us to mail them in." That makes ZERO sense. I can mail them in myself. Why would I need to take them to a store to mail them for me?! At this point, I didn't want to let my sweet mom down as she had finally found a pair she was excited about, and since it was a "buy one get one half off" sale, if I didn't also buy mine, hers would be full price and she would've never let me do that. So, I sucked it up and bought both pairs, spending far more than I had planned. Fast forward to today. The case for the Prada sunglasses I bought in this store had fallen apart. I don't know if this is typical for these cases, but for the money these sunglasses cost, one would hope a case would last. I took the case into the store expecting they'd say, "oh, let us grab you another." Nope. First, they say they'll have to order me another one. I said, "ok, that's fine. Can you ship it to my house?" Nope. They can only ship to their store. Weird. So, I wait while the guy at the counter enters a bunch of stuff into his computer. About 10 minutes later, he tells me it's going to be $53. For a case!!! For a case I just got TWO months ago!!! I said, "it's two months old. There's not any kind of warranty or anything?" He said, "for a case?? No." I told him I'd just deal with Prada, then. I'm not giving this store $53 for a freaking sunglasses case to replace one I just got here two months ago. SMH. Everything about both of my experiences screams that they are deceitful and make excuses to scam people out of money. I don't believe for one minute that Prada would charge a retailer of their product $53 to replace a case that fell apart. I personally will never spend another penny at this store and will be contacting Sunglass Hut corporate as I have a feeling this store is not operating within the terms of their franchise agreement. The manager Yomicia was amazing. Me and my wife have been in to this location twice and she spent the time to make sure we were taken care of each time. She fixed a miss order from the manufacturer and I left completely satisfied. She truly cares about representing her company with professionalism. Our time is valuable and her spending a little extra personal time made all the difference. I will definitely be back and recommend this business. read more

I called before 6pm, understanding that they closed at 7pm and I wanted to make sure they could assist me with my sunglasses warranty, as the person working at the mall was not trained to do so. The associate answered the phone and said he could help, but would be back with me in a couple minutes. I overheard 3 customers in the store, with the last one leaving at about 5:20. I was left on the phone for 50 minutes before the associate hung up without saying anything. I showed up at 6:45 (15 minutes before closing) and he told me I had to come back tomorrow. I informed him I was attempting to let him know I was about to be there, had he answered the phone 45 minutes earlier. He said he got really busy and had to close the store, which I find hard to believe since I listened to their showroom floor music for over 45 minutes and only heard 3 customer transactions. read more

My husband bought me RB3670 54 for Christmas @ 161.00 in the Woodlands Mall location receipt #1096840. I went to exchange the glasses at the Market Street location. I have a gift receipt. We picked out a pair of clearance Prada (317 @ 50% OFF = 158). It was almost an even exchange. HE REFUSED TO EXCHANGE MY RAYBANS!!! Excuse after excuse! "Only a manager can exchange these" "I can't do it because you're exchanging regular price for clearance and the system will regect it" "No, I can't refund the difference to the credit card you bought them with..." On and on and ON! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Would my exchange eat his commission in some way? The whole point of a gift receipt as I pointed out to him (yes, my husband still had the regular receipt) is so I can exchange the glasses for some that suit me better. He can't refund 3 lousy dollar's to my husband's card? FURTHERMORE, There is a sign on the wall thay says take an additional 20% off clearance items. So really it should've been 158 -20% additional credit.. when I asked about that he gave me some song and dance about having to buy 2 pair of clearance glasses to get the additional 20% OFF.... THAT IS NOT WHAT THE SIGN SAYS!!! Our trip to your Market Street location was a complete waste of time as we took a while to find a pair of sunglasses I liked, then stood in line.... the got served up the run around because this guy obviously doesn't know how to exchange merchandise or honor your own promotions posted clearly on the wall! This was all at 4pm about 45 minutes ago. So whoever was working that shift needs some PR training... just ridiculous. read more

Random store closures in the middle of a busy Saturday... drove all the way to buy 2 sunglasses and left disappointed and empty handed with a locked door and hand written note with no explanation as to why they're closed. The line of customers outside waiting were also disappointed and took our business elsewhere. read more
