Upon my first visit and finally finding a pair of frames that fit (they only have 2 pairs of size 42 in the WHOLE store) the sales manager took my RX and gave me a very expensive quote for progressive lenses. Only two options to choose from. There as no explanation of lens options (non scratch, non glare, etc) The quote w/out insurance was $1,100! I was like why? After ins it was $500. Still very high. Got 2 quotes. Went with the cheaper one. After picking up my glasses, the other Sales Rep, who I was with ( I had a different person every time I went in the store) he tild me the glasses have clear coat protection, anti glare, anti scratch etc... this was never discussed with me at the initial meeting. They threw it in there as part of the price and only discussed the progressive options. I will be calling the manager tomorrow. I did not order anti-glaring anti-reflection and other stuff. THATs why it so expensive. ! Not impressed with the staff at all. In and out in 15 min. Not going there in the future. Not everyone who goes there has lots of money to blow. read more

LensCrafters' customer service and quality of work are truly second to none! They fixed my glasses frame in about 10 minutes--and even did it as a courtesy, free of charge. My glasses now fit better than ever, and I was honestly amazed. They also have by far the best selection of frames, especially for kids (which can be so hard to find!). I had a very disappointing experience with LensCrafters. I ordered three pairs of glasses, but had to return to the store four separate times due to incorrect lenses and other issues--including replacing a lost pair during the process. Ultimately, I returned the final pair (which still had the wrong lenses) because I could no longer justify spending time going back and forth to fix ongoing mistakes they couldn't resolve. It's extremely frustrating when a company specializing in lenses is unable to get them right, even after multiple attempts. read more

This location is great! They have a large variety of name brand eyeglass frames. Employees are friendly and very helpful! I was away from home and dropped my eyeglasses. One of the lens popped out and the frame was slightly warped from the drop. Abigail, the LensCrafter employee, greeted me & offered to fix my eyeglasses. No charge! No other questions asked even though I was not one of their regular customers. Found that they take a large variety of health insurance. My glasses were fixed perfectly. I will be visiting a LensCrafters location closer to my home for my next pair of eyeglasses. Highly recommend! read more

Very disappointed, dishonest sale person. We have been to this location couple of times in the past with good experience. Yesterday went to order new prescription glasses. Asked for all the features I had on my glasses last year. They had Black Friday deal going on. Sales associate Abigail quoted us nearly $900 after the deal, which was shocking. I told her I have never paid this much for the glasses before and asked to see breakdown of price. She had listed all lens features between $200-300, and priced frame at $309. I pointed out the frame I picked has a tag saying $190. She said prices are gone up due to inflation. Sye was unwilling to honor the price on the tag. She claimed lens crafters have raised prices on the lenses too, but was unable to show me any list prices. Between I and my wife, we were to get 3 pairs, but left without getting and will not return to this location again. We will not recommend this location to anyone. Anyone doing business with them should pay attention to how they are pricing your glasses and shop around. Seems that they have dishonest people doing business at the location. read more

I had a eye appointment a week ago. They were all super nice. They took lots of safety precautions during this covid stuff going on. The woman eye doctor was AWESOME! She listened, understood and even made me laugh with little jokes. I was so stressed because I had never been to a eye doctor. I always had great vision until I got older. I really appreciated the fact that Lenscrafters still offers same-day eyeglasses. This helps me tremendously when my son lost his eyeglasses. What I didn't love was the price. Polycarbonate lenses, blue light filter, and anti-scratch coating are all standard when you are in need of same-day glasses. Other than that, I was very happy with the service and product. Karla helped us. She was very polite and professional. She was informative and extremely nice. I would recommend this location to anyone based on the professionalism that she showed. it was time to get some new glasses and I love the convenience and quick turnaround that LensCrafters usually offers. I was greeted promptly and was helped by the saleslady to choose my frames after I had perused the frames for about 30 minutes. After I ordered my glasses-I got a call the next day that they were ready! I walked in and they were perfect. However, I noticed my frames came in different colors? I was originally looking for black? Lucky for the return policy you have 30-days to exchange your frames so I was quickly able to do the exchange. I came back when they were ready but the lady who was helping me this time started twisting the frames before I even tried them on! This really irritates me when they do that. She twisted turned and twisted and turned my glasses so much-that they now don't fit properly. I had to finally tell her to stop. My glasses do not fit well and I will just have to go in and get someone else to help me make the adjustments. So... FYI tell them NOT to TOUCH YOUR GLASSES until you've tried them on. As a matter of fact unless they're falling off your face I would just wear them then come back later if they need any adjusting at all. read more

I went to this place to get a pair of glasses and all was good. I decided a week later I wanted to order a pair of sunglasses same as my regular ones I just purchased. The gentleman who was most helpful before had dropped the ball on this one, never heard back. So I called the next week and got a very nice lady who was most apologetic and was very helpful. I stop in usually once a month or so to get my glasses adjusted and checked out. The entire staff have been extremely professional, and helpful. Just had a Horrible experience! I've been getting glasses at this location for many years. I was told when I got any of my glasses that if I got insurance that I would only have to pay $25lens/$25fames within the year. I was told that even if your prescription changed all I had to do is bring them in. Here we are.... my prescription changed. I called twice just checking to see if I was still in my year and they said yes, you still 4 days. I even informed them over the phone that the reason I was coming in was because my prescription changed and I wanted new lens. I don't remember the names of the two different people but neither one of them said it had to be the same prescription. I will never use LensCrafters again!! I also would like to add... When I gave the girl my new prescription she didn't know how to enter the information. She was asking me how to do it!! She also informed me that my last prescription was entered in as readers not for distance(which I why I wear glasses). So, I guess I've been wearing the wrong prescription all along!! I've had a devil of a time getting used to my glasses. After not wearing them for a dozen years but now needing a little correction and reading glasses, i was forced to get a pair again. After a couple of pairs and a lot of patience from the staff at this location....and 5 months later. I was forced to return and try yet another type of lens (progressive then, HD progressive, now a wider view progressive). The staff, as with all the other visits, were extremely nice, professional and accommodating. Even though I'm a well past the warranty period these folks have gone out of their way to ensure I get exactly what I need and am completely satisfied. I highly recommend this location. You won't find a better place! Oh and every order was ready well before the estimated date...even a pair of prescription Maui Jim sunglasses. If you're looking to see better. I bought a pair of Oakley glasses at this LensCrafters. They were almost $500., I have had to take them back 3 times for the plastic delaminating. The manager told me that it was the FRAME that was causing this problem. I asked if anyone else had this problem, he told me "No"..... I've worn glasses for 40 some odd years and have NEVER had this problem....but then I've never done business with LensCrafters either.....and never will again..... read more

Did a good job explaining everything. LensCrafters which is next door was very friendly also. The only thing was he said I don't think it was explained to me how long it was to get my glasses. I was staying in the area for a few weeks and needed new glasses. I already had my prescription and just need glasses. Everyone was really friendly and willing to assist in any way they could. There was a delay in receiving my lens, but the staff called me every other day to keep me updated. Once everything arrived, two staff members stayed an hour after closing so that I could pick them up. They went out out of their way to assist me and always had a smile and a warm greeting when I walked into the store. Now, I live on the complete opposite side of town , but I will make the drive to always get my glasses from them. I tried to get into the eye doctor next to this Lens Crafters on February 28. I called the office, and talked to the lady that answered the phone. Cannot say what her name is because I could barely hear her, even though I repeatedly told her that I could not hear her. After about 10 minutes on the phone, I finally figured out that I did not have all of the insurance information that I needed to complete this, so I told her that I would call back. I got the needed information, called back, still could not hear her, even after repeatedly telling her this. Plus, there was mostly silence while talking with her, as if she was doing other things and not paying attention to me. She finally put me on hold and another lady picked up. This one I could hear clearly. She asked me what insurance I had, I told her the company, then without asking for any more information, told me that they did take that insurance, and set up the appointment. I arrived early so that we could sort thru all of the insurance information and complete any needed paperwork. Then, I am told that they do not accept my insurance. I asked what my options were, and they told me that if I wanted to keep the appointment today, I would have to pay $95 and try to get reimbursed. I declined and left. My frustration is not with the insurance issue - that happens. My frustration is with the folks in the office processing this. I noticed the one lady who I was having trouble hearing holding the phone with the receiver at least 4 inches away from her mouth. No wonder I had trouble hearing her. And I just got the feeling that the whole operation was incompetent. I used this office the last time I got glasses, and everything was great. That made today's experience even more disappointing. And I think that this Lens Crafters itself is good, but I'm not going to deal with an incompetent eye doctor coupled with the trouble of finding parking here. Sorry, Lens Crafters on Six Pines. I have to go somewhere else. Apparently I have to click on a star in order to post this. I think that the 1 star that I gave this is way to generous. Yes, I am quite frustrated. And I would have rather communicated with the eye doctor's office directly, but that was not realistic here. read more

I've been getting glasses here for ~12+ years and never had a bad experience but they were real miracle workers this time... my sunglasses that were well loved for almost 5 years, 2 sets of lenses in that time (done here) was smooshed after falling off my head into the trunk as my hubs swung a big piece of luggage into it. Lenses weren't damaged but frame was bent all wrong - wish I'd taken a pic because I was tossing them and coming to gey new glasses (wearing a backup pair that also needed some love). Their optician greeted me immediately - offered to try and fix them... warned they could break off but ? the fact he was willing to try of course - handed them over and in maybe 10 mins, he comes out with my smooshed mangled glasses looking new!! Then he fixed my back-ups. And at the time he had no idea I was a multiple repeat customer - didn't even know they were prescription... didn't ask? Wasn't relevant... I needed glasses fixed and he could do it... awesome! read more

Very poor customer service. They act like they could care less about helping you. One male sales associate would not give me a discount if I was only buying frames. He said I would only get a discount if I was purchasing frames and lenses. I told him I had insurance and he said LensCrafters does not accept my insurance if I was only buying frames. I went back a few days later and a different associate told me she would give me a 15% discount. Very dishonest and arrogant. I will not be back. read more
