Coming from SWFL, I'm familiar with franchise tanning locations, where customer service can be WILDLY hit or miss. It's often the part of the tanning experience you try to swerve. Back home it was rare to bump into my favorite bubbly, professional, informative, friendly salon associates. Unfortunately on busy evenings I'd somehow get stuck with immature, boisterous teens, talking on their phones, ignoring clients, commenting on customers appearances or literally spending time with friends, complaining about the length of their shifts. And first time walk-in moments can be as intimidating as car shopping, with high pressure moments that leave you assuming there's a pushy management team working on commission. NOT THE CASE HERE- certainly not the case with Maddie. Maddie was polite, professional, pleasant, and informative(giving me a tour of the facility and high level fun down of the membership options). She was also totally respectful of my assertive request to tan once in a stand up bed, even though she mentioned it likely wouldn't greatly affect my appearance. The salon is clean and updated. The booth is impressive and easy to use. Information is posted in the room regarding supplemental membership marketing apps and health guidelines in a clean appealing way. Upon leaving I told Maddie I was interesting in reviewing membership materials and signing up. It was a comfortable experience that I would recommend to anyone. The location and the staff felt like home. It felt like a place I would tell my friends and family to try. In January, they were running a promotion for the spa - spend $50 in Jan redeem for $100 in March. So at checkout I asked about it and said, "let's do it." I asked to go ahead & book the service. I paid the $50 and booked a facial for March. Never had a facial there. Don't know the people. Just wanted to use my promotional balance. Well, conveniently I was booked with someone who did not qualify for the promotional balance. Didn't find out until it was time to pay in March after the service was performed. So I paid $250 for a 30 minute service that should've cost me $150. On a previous trip, I spent THIRTY ONE MINUTES booking a next appointment for a highlight. Not 31 minutes waiting, 31 minutes booking. It literally took her that long to find a time that worked with my stylist 3 months out. The front desk staff is totally incompetent and the business doesn't operate with integrity. So disappointing.

I got a facial and massage. My facial was nice. I however will never get a massage from them again…read more I opted for a therapeutic massage. I was asked to say if the massage became painful and was over 5. I continuously had to tell her that it was too much and painful. As soon as she would lighten up she would go back to an intense and almost unbearable pressure. The entire massage and following I felt as if i was being lectured on mechanics of the body, and what I needed to do differently. It's not that I mind helpful advice but this woman seemed as if she simply wanted to boost her self esteem with her vast knowledge. I ended up being in more pain than before the massage and even felt bruised and sore to the touch. I attempted to contact them through there website to let them know this before writing my review. I never heard back from anyone.
