A good daycare is hard to find, but an amazing one is truly rare. My daughter started at TLE back in 2023 when she was just 2 years old. Having had my older son home for 6 years until kindergarten, the thought of sending my new 2-year-old to daycare absolutely terrified me. I was stressed and anxiety-ridden and toured every daycare in the area you could name, so trust me when I tell you this is THE ONE! TLE quickly became more than just a daycare for us--they became family. The staff is unbelievably caring, patient, and genuine. Every single staff member knows my daughter by name, and she knows them too. She lights up when they greet her, and even if I don't know all their names, the fact that they know hers and are truly excited to see her means the world to me. For parents looking for a safe and supportive environment, this center goes above and beyond. The classrooms are always clean, organized, and thoughtfully set up. The communication is amazing--I always know what my daughter ate, how she slept, what she learned, and get multiple pictures daily. Their transparency gives me complete peace of mind. The structure and consistency TLE provides are incredible. They balance learning with play so well. Education-wise, they are phenomenal. My daughter has learned so much--from early academics to social skills, independence, problem-solving, and imaginative play. The curriculum is legit amazing. It is engaging, age-appropriate, and actually fun. She comes home excited to show us what she learns EVERYDAY. Speaking as a teacher myself, what really sets this place apart is the genuine love they show for every child and their teachers dedication and passion to be there (these women are NOT just there for a paycheck). Everyone of the teachers my daughter has had celebrate birthdays, milestones, silly moments, and hard days all with the same level of care. They comfort, redirect, encourage, and cheer on the class as if they were their own. I could go on forever but if you are looking for a daycare where your child will be safe, loved, challenged, supported, and truly known, this is the one. But you should keep expectations at basic level. Pros : Teachers and administrators do seem to have a good relationship with the kids. Bright and inviting rooms and playground. Playground padded floors, has awning for shade. When compared to other daycares around the area, the price is competitive. Please take into consideration the summer activities fees when looking for daycares, it is on top of monthly fees and not optional. Food is included. Kids were kept safe and never had any injuries so that's a plus, considering the caretakers are pushed to the max and stressed. Cons : It's more like a babysitting place than a school. I don't see the kids doing crafts or learning much. It's mostly just giving them paper and crayons, or the kids just running around in chaos. The caretakers are very young in their early 20s, only there temporarily. The caretaker to kids ratio is at the max allowed. Staff turnover is high, there is a new random face taking care of the kids every month. There is no big common play area for the kids to play in the fall/winter. In spring/summer they have outdoor playground. But when it's cold, they're stuck in 1 same classroom all day. No camera for you to watch your kids throughout the day. They can use a carpet deep washing, at times it smells musty. If you're just looking for an ok place to send your kids that's fairly priced, this is your daycare. If you want more of an active learning place with more attention spent on your kid(s), spend more for a better experience.

The venue is clean and secure, the front door remains locked at all times and then the children's play space is set behind another secured door. The front desk staff does a great job at logging kids in and validating pick up. Reservations can be made online or by calling, but AKP also accepts walk ins. There are themed activities and camps which can be viewed on their schedule. As a bonus there are a few parking spots close to the front specifically to be used for pick ups and drop offs. Over all, it is affordable for childcare. My kids seem to like it.

I signed up that Monday and watched all day to see not 1 child look genuinely happy all day, my son be left in a seat at a table alone for various amounts of time on two separate occasions, and on top of it he wouldn't eat his lunch because they never informed me that I had to cut his food. I decided to pull my son due to wanting him to be in a more caring environment than that, but if your expectations are solely safety than this may be the place for you. Once I pulled my son, I wanted to speak to the owners to have a conversation in regards to what happened but they would not call me back - which goes to show that this is solely a business to them. I find this place to be extremely sad.

In the infant room, each teacher is assigned to the same 4 infants daily. I was very impressed with this as each teacher learns their assigned infants, rather than the infants being passed around and cared for by different people every day. My daughter had horrible eczema as an infant and her teacher was EXTREMELY helpful in getting it under control by following the skin care regimen the pediatrician recommended. My daughter was always clean, happy and healthy. I never had to worry that my baby wasn't being cared for. The piece of mind alone was invaluable. My daughter is now getting ready to enter the school's pre-k program. She has learned so much throughout the years at Laurel tree and I am confident that she will be prepared, if not over prepared, for kindergarten next year. I am always impressed at the creative and hands-on ways the children are educated. I will forever be indebted to Laurel Tree Academy, their owners, teachers and other staff. My youngest son has been attending Just Children since he was 18 months old. From day one, he was welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment. His lead teachers have been consistent. No turn overs like mentioned in other posts. To speak directly to the program, his day to day is a well-thought out mix of age appropriate activities, learning and free play. At 3 years old, he has already been taught his letters and numbers, and can read and write them, too! Throughout the day, I am provided text message video and photos, which makes me feel like I am still a part of what is going on! I love seeing his activities each day! There are a variety of enhancements my child receives at Just Children, which he didn't get at other centers. Touchscreen computers, Spanish lessons, and offerings for sports or dance classes! The staff at Just Children is well educated, friendly and warm. They care about my son - really, they do, and keep me updated on his progress. The other review I read mentioned something about a problem with communication at Just Children. As a parent of a child currently in the program, I couldn't disagree more. The director of the school has an OPEN office at the reception area. She greets the parents as they come in, and knows each child by name. The lead teachers in the room keep me informed about my child's day to day progress, and each evening I receive a communication from the teacher with notes, food, etc. They will even remind me of upcoming events, or if there was an issue my child had that day (this is never a surprise -- I'm always aware prior to the email). In my honest opinion, I wouldn't think to put my child in any other daycare center in the area. They say that actions speak louder than words...so I will also say that Just Children is so amazing that I have THREE neighbors who also send their children there. In fact, they are the ones who referred me to the center. Their children have all been attending since they were infants -- and most are now 4! I know from experience because I have actually been at a day care which had directors change every-other-month plus quick turnover of teachers. That was actually a nightmare which I have NOT experienced at Goddard.

Sometimes they'll say by they are Steve, then they'll tell you he's not not here right now and even will say he sold the business a couple years ago. I was very hesitant bc these guys were asking for over $120 to fix an iphone 12 screen and were clearly luring customers off of a reputation that isnt theres with zero promise of the same quality work. I didnt like they were lying and claiming to be someone they weren't. It was all very scammy. I tried to budge on the price but the guy there whoever he was refused. I had a friend call and see if Steve was there still and the guy on phone told him the repair would be $110. Clearly they are liars and no one should take anything they tell you as the truth. Aftermarket repairs are all a toss up, but Steve was a gem. Idk who these guys are, dont trust them .

When we arrived, we walked to her classroom and noticed the children were outside on the toddler playground, with the door propped open by a foam block. As we approached, we witnessed a teacher forcefully grab another child by the arm. That moment immediately raised serious concerns. We went outside right away to find our daughter. The staff member supervising the group was not her usual teacher. The supervising staff member appeared to be very overwhelmed watching the young children. When I located her among the other children, her face was very red and there was a visible mark on her arm that resembled a handprint. I picked her up and we left immediately. Before leaving, I stopped at the director's office to report what we had seen. I was told there are no cameras covering the outdoor area. What a huge liability! I requested a refund and we will not be returning. This experience was deeply upsetting, and I would strongly urge other parents to carefully consider their options.

And the quality of the art and work sent home with the kids nosedived, we trash 80% of it whereas we used to save and frame it all. The teachers are very sweet, and they carry this facility on their backs. The level of disrespect and discrimination we've faced makes me sick. The admin staff has us to the point where we are thinking we might switch when we can get in someplace better. The facility is dirty half the time anymore and always smells like a dirty diaper. Our youngest constantly comes back in a dirty diaper like they haven't been checked! And we really only stayed hoping the quality would level out and get back to where it was, but it hasn't. Crème is not worth anything they charge and after our oldest was significantly injured onsite (conveniently off camera) and the staff dodged us (but we handled things calmly), we are looking into our options for that incident and we would never recommend going here. Save your money. They're soulless. I would be interested in a pathway to a better experience and solution for our child's previous injury, but I do NOT want to deal with the RM for this site. So, I will not share my information if that's who will contact me, I'd prefer higher up at this point.

She has had a wonderful learning experience there and I credit her teachers for the warm and caring environment in which all the students are learning. The children learn everything from personal responsibility and life skills to learning how to read and write, developing a strong foundation in math skills, and an understanding of the world around us through social studies, geography, and science. The students enjoy weekly lessons in Spanish, cooking, gym, art, music, and more. The students also experience at least two field trips during the school year, playing in the snow (as long as they bring appropriate snow gear), Bike Day at the end of each month, a few celebrations, such as International Day where families come in and teach the students about their heritage. CMS encourages family involvement, whether it's participating in special events or coming in to teach a lesson. Families may be as involved as they choose to be and aren't pressured to do more than they can give. Cornerstone Montessori also offers before- and after-school care for working parents like us and three 2-week summer sessions. The summer sessions are great for parents who would like to check out the school and see if it is right for their child as well as for students who are already enrolled to maintain the skills they have developed during the school year and continue on their learning path. The summer sessions are more relaxed and additional fun activities are scheduled. We are so pleased with our experience at Cornerstone Montessori, and we are sure you will be, too. Our son had previously attended another daycare, and we had lost all trust in childcare after multiple traumatic experiences. The care and attention that Genevieve and her teachers give to our son and our family quickly suppressed any stress that I had and they earned our trust. They got to know our son and what was important to our family for his care. We are working together to help him transition between rooms (infant to toddler), and they are doing what works for him instead of just following a written routine. They work with us as a team on a daily basis and really make us feel like family. The communication we receive from Genevieve and his teachers is top notch. Whether it be sending pictures and notes throughout the day to show how he's doing, or checking in when he is having a tough time, they are in constant communication with us. They respond quickly to any questions or comments we may have as well. They were able to catch an ear infection super early because they recognized a slight change in his behavior. They have also checked to make sure everything was okay when we were running late, as our morning drop off times are pretty consistent. Our son LOVES The Heights School. At drop off, he often will blow me kisses and wave goodbye as he goes right to playing. At pickup at his previous school, he would run right to me and cling to me. Now when I walk in, he runs and hugs me, then goes right back to playing. This may seem small, but shows that he feels comfortable too and doesn't want to leave. We are so pleased with the care that our son receives at The Heights School. We can't wait to see how much our son learns and grows throughout his time!

I've had wonderful experiences with everyone I've ever come across at this daycare school in person or over the Tadpole messages. They're so warm and involved and proactively care. It really puts a mom at ease, especially since I don't have the opportunity to be there in person very often for drop offs. They're great with all means of communication. Having this village to help with things like potty training is truly priceless. Big hugs to Miss Mia for that :)

I really…read moreenjoyed her being a student here she learned so much like spanish, sign language , colors and to count to 100. The teachers are really friendly and caring, Ms Isabel, Ashley & Ms. Robin are amazing. Dana the owner always helped me when i needed help. Jess and Jill are also always friendly and will go the extra mile. I referred my neighbor's daughter to come and they love it always, My daughter will be returning for summer camp.
