We hired her as our day of coordinator as well a wow did she supersede every expectation and more. When I think back to who contributed the most to making our perfect day everything we hoped for and more it was Ani. She handled every hiccup with ease, and took away every stress the day of so we could truly enjoy every moment of our special day. Her attention to detail is unmatched. Not only is booking your wedding here a no brainer after your tour the gorgeous space, but hiring Ani is an ABSOLUTE MUST. My husband and I were both in the midst of interviewing for residency and graduating from medical school and she truly made planning our wedding feel like a breeze. My wife found the most amazing property in California. Probably the closest thing to a castle in all of America. Even more of a castle than Hearst's castle. Both of our families came and stayed for the weekend. I devised a mystery puzzle game which was accommodated and accentuated by the venue because of all the rooms and places to hide. The Wifi is great, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is the best place to hang out and be with family. The only thing that is tricky are the roads and the volume levels. There is no cell service in some areas while driving but you just need to be aware of this and come prepared with a pre printed map just like in 1999. Its very easy to take a wrong turn and up on the Rim of the World. Full disclaimer for weddings: Don't do it here. Its not because the venue is bad, its because of the neighbors and the location. Parking is a nightmare if you have any more than 7 cars. There is no designated lot and the garages are off limits due to storage. So if you park on the street on Sycamore, you are good as long as all your tires are on asphalt. The sound. Keep in mind this house is in the middle of a quiet forest. you can hear sound travel very easily so when windows are open and there is a party, everyone around can hear it for miles. Also, the house is huge, and maze-like. If you have ever played the first Resident Evil and gotten lost a few times you know what I mean. All in all this place is amazing, but do not get your expectations too high for a wedding or an event. Its a huge property in the middle of a forest, of course its hard to get to, of course there aren't enough bathrooms on the ground floor. Of course there are going to be minor inconveniences. IT'S A CASTLE. IN THE FOREST. The people who built it went bankrupt. We should all be so lucky to get to enjoy this wonderful property! Also, I left my laptop there and the property owners/managers sent it back to me the very next day!! If thats not professional and courteous service I don't know what is. When we toured the Oak Grove ceremony space and learned we'd have access to a bridal suite for the day, we were SO excited. When we first visited, Matthew and Amy showed us around. The ENTIRE country club is so beautiful, from the Oak Grove and Cypress Trees to the staircases. As we became more serious about booking and completely fell in love with the space, Silvana and Ruben were quick to respond and provided a detailed meeting and breakdown of everything. The packages were clear and informative, and they were always willing to accommodate our needs. When Cassidy took over for the rehearsal and day-of coordination, she was absolutely amazing. She was extremely responsive via email, attentive to every detail, and even addressed things we didn't think to ask about. During the rehearsal and on the wedding day, she coordinated everything so seamlessly that both our families and we felt completely at ease thanks to her calm and supportive presence. I know the drinks were included in these packages, but give the guests a buzz. Guests were bringing out their own tequila bottles bc the alcohol was so watered down. Also, I'm not a big drinker and I had 3 drinks that only tasted of margarita mix. Also, one point during the night the bar ran out of glasses for drinks. Literally had to wait for cups . Also, the package only allowed for so many free drinks that at the end of the night you had to pay for drinks. The drink that I paid for suddenly tasted of alcohol. The employees were nice, but there was a long gap time from getting the salad and main entree. It's more than an hour after receiving the salad that we got our main dish.

If the clouds hadn't swept it, it has excellent views including a view of downtown LA on a good (not hazy) day. The bar service was very good - they tracked every drink sold. The table service and food were also quite nice and friendly. Some tips: If you are walking outside on the ceramic tile floor and it's humid or misting, be careful - it can be quite slippery. The dance floor was around 25' x 25' and accommodated the DJ and lighting with no problems. Sight lines in the indoor facility were good. We had to shift from outdoor to indoor due to mist and rain. The facility flexed with no problems at all, making this seamless and STRESSLESS for the bride and groom. The staff was professional, and they kept the facility running well.
