This place is mediocre as it is. I don't ever actually go to get my nails done. But I needed to soak off for my nails. That's it. A soak off. Two different women did my soak off even though I wasn't a walk-in, I had made an appointment to come in at 2:30 and the first lady was rushing back-and-forth between me and another client. So as you can imagine, with her rushing, it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. Scraping off my nail really quickly drilling. It burned me with the drill and I have residue flying at my face. She's in a rush. What do you expect? So then the other lady comes when she's done with the other client and she finishes up the job. The servicd is $10. I decide to leave no tip. One, because it was a soak off. TWo: because I had two different women doing my nails. Three because the first lady was in a rush, making it a painful experience and the second lady also drilled my nail to wear a burn. And then when I was done, she was rude to me and asked me why no tip. "It was a lot work" One: i'm doing the majority of work. By having my hands soaking and acetone for 40 minutes. And TWO: Probably because I had TWO people doing my service even though I had an appointment, it was just a soak off and I got hurt in the process. It was extremely uncomfortable and you wanna tip and you want to be giving clients an attitude? I'm sorry. But that was not OK. Maybe once someone makes an appointment, sit down with them and do it right without rushing and making an uncomfortable and painful experience and then maybe a tip would be accessible. Like I said. I used to love Sunny nail spa...... like my go to. I stopped going for awhile because I got a new job and started going to a place closer to where I was working. And recently went back to sunny and wow. My friend and I walked in and we were PRESSURED into getting acrylic nails with tips and we said we needed a minute because we didn't know what we wanted. We were being hovered over and rudely questioned when we already let them know that we need a minute because we don't know. I give them 1 star because they have cute doggies that run around the shop but that's it. I got a simple French pedicure , and was told $40. When I asked why it was so expensive they said it was $30 and that it "was a mistake". I should also note. I have been at multiple other salons where they take their tools out of the little disposable bags. While getting my toes done the tools were taken out of a plastic bin and didn't look clean, before she used them on me I nicely asked for her to get new ones or clean the ones she was about to use. I went with a friend (we were paying together) who got her nails done (they looked nice 8/10) and while I was sitting next to her there was multiple employees standing behind us, yelling behind us, now if you are like me and you are always situationally aware of what's going on you probably would've felt the same way, this made me and my friend extremely uncomfortable. As if we were going to stand up and run out and they were trying to prepare or something. Ick. The employees here are incredibly unprofessional and can't understand English very well, making communication tough. I came in with a photo of a sort of complicated look. When the nail tech started, I decided I didnt like the look and I would just get regular french tips but with the blue color I had chosen. After much back and forth between James & George, my nail tech (james) started to work on my nails again. He started to paint my nails doing a white french tip. I tried 3 times to tell him I wanted blue and he told me to wait until after, so I wait. He then starts painting only a thin blue line on my nails and i tell him, again, i wanted the french tips blue. This is when things got intense. George starts yelling at me telling me I'm an ignorant american. Then i looked at my sister and said this is f**king ridiculous. Then george asked me not to swear but James started legitimately screaming at me in the middle of the salon. He called me stupid, said i am a baby and yelled f**k you from across the table at me. Never in my life have I had such a mortifying experience at a nail salon and I will never return. Also, our nails look like children did them. There's a hair in one of my nails (keep in mind I got acrylic & gel). My sister got french as well and her lines are all crooked (see photos) read more

horrible place, would not recommend to anyone. my daughter went on Sunday to have her nails done, monday they were cracking and Tuesday they were chipping. she went back and she was told it was her fault and they were to long. they would not repair them or talk to her. Omg! it looks like a child did my nails! it was the owner! he cut me 3 x and i had to tell him to put the iodine on it!! my nails are not French Manicure, i'm really not quite sure what they are. They are not even there is bubbles in the paint. I mean the polish and there's glue all over my hands. I will take a picture because it's worth looking at. Do not go there. This is the worst place I've ever been to, and when I told him I wasn't happy he got irate and wouldn't fix anything and told me never to come back. I paid to get my girlfriends nails done yesterday, once she walked out of the nail salon they locked the doors immediately and then she realized as soon as she got in her car the nails looked absolutely horrible. I went in this morning and demanded they fix them and asked for a partial refund as well. They claimed she messed them up afterwards which was a lie I showed them a time stamp that the photo was taken 2 minutes after she left and they locked her out. RIDICULOUS! read more

Terrible! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They use the same nail files on everyone's hands and feet! I actually watched them use the same file from the lady prior on a girl that came in after. When I called them out on it they began raising their voices using their own language and talking to each other. They wouldn't answer me. I felt so uncomfortable! They ground my nails down until they were sore, my cuticles were bleeding and the designs were hideous! The employees are rude and when you ask them to change something they act like it's a major chore and sometimes refuse. I will NEVER return to this place. read more

Wrong shape, length, and color even after correcting tech 3 different times. Don't care what you want you're getting what they "can" do. I got THICK, UNEVEN awful square nails- literally every nail is a different length. Dogs running around the shop get bathed in pedicure tubs. Before the service even began, the color I chose from their polish wall was "not a color, it's clear" even though it's what I wanted(light light natural pink) then picked out a white polish for meand used that instead. The Lady doing my nails cut my cuticles (illegal in NYS), started clipping her nails with the same clippers she used on mine- while still doing my nails before moving onto second hand. LEFT ME for 10 mins halfway through filing my nails to do someone's eyebrows. Ran filer over my finger and glared at me when I let her know it was painful, then proceeded to do it more.
