And she cut the sides of my toe nail off and literally ripped off my nail now when I walk both sides or my toe hurt and the man there looked offended when I didn't tip they were nice but the same lady who ripped my nail off messed up a previous girls acrylics while I was there waiting and she left upset to. I read the reviews and came in skeptical, but I needed a basic manicure and pedicure, so I thought I'd give this place a chance. I'm from a big city and new to Brenham. I'm used to lots of good choices to get nails done and I'm think Sunny's service is comparable to some of the better places I've been. I didn't feel rushed at all. My ONLY negative, was that her massage is too fast - not that it was too short - pressure was great and she was thorough, but her hands move so fast that it was hard to relax. Nice staff. Not sanitary. Pedicure/Manicure quality low. When I got in they try to up-sale you really hard. The order of the pedicure steps was inconsistent. No working steps it seemed, steps missed on either foot. When I was getting my feet trimmed and scrubbed the lady went and got me a water then proceeded to give everyone else waters with the gloves on that she had been working in on my feet, grabbing the caps of the water bottles. I work in the dental field and pay close attention to sanitation. She also grabbed the phones and tip cash frequently with the same gloves on. My paint that I left with wasn't smooth around the edges on my feet or toes in which two different women completed services. Also stick for waxing was dipped in the hot wax between customers and not a new stick for each application. Despite the niceness of the staff, the lack sanitation measures makes me not recommend this business. read more

Honestly don't know why I keep trying to get my nails done in Brenham. Manicure- left traces of my old polish under clear paint and my nails were filed crooked and uneven. I was given major attitude when I asked for a certain color that they didn't have (which is why I went with clear) and also when I was trying to communicate the shape I wanted my nails. Pedicure- cut crooked and filed poorly. Take away: do it yourself and save your money or drive to a city to get professional care. read more

VERY disappointed with the work done here. I came here with to get a pedicure and full set of "solar nails." The pedicure was great and the lady was very sweet but when i got my nails done afterwards I was handed off to another woman. She was incredibly rude and on the phone yelling half the time. She did a sloppy job on my nails despite taking 2 hours to complete them. I pointed out to her the things I was unhappy with and asked her to fix them multiple times and every time she would rudely wave off my complaint and tell me that she would fix it in a moment. Clearly she didn't fix any of the mistakes. Will not be going back. Very disappointed. read more

I have tried everywhere in town, and this place is the best! Their deluxe pedicure is amazing and will leave your feet baby soft! I get shellac white tips done on my natural nail and they really take the time to clean up your cuticles and shape your nails beautifully. I have absolutely loved my nails every time I've come here! DO NOT GO HERE! I have been getting my lashes and nails done at a nail salon for years and the one time i decide to get them done here my real lashes were ruined!! The lady put way too much eyelash glue and therefore it caused my eyes to be glued shut and for my eyes to be irritated. I asked them to take them off and one lady told me they don't remove eyelashes. So i ask again and another lady offers to take them off. It took her over an HOUR to remove the false lashes using a glue removing gel that burned my eyes badly. In the end my lashes still had glue stuck to them and my real lashes thinned almost completely. Please save your money and your time and do not go here. read more

I went to this nail salon for over three years and loved it! Every time I went I had the same woman do my nails and I adored her. Toward the last six months the job she was doing on my nails was getting worse and worse. I went in to get a nail fixed one day and no one was in salon and they were closing in thirty minutes...she asked me to come back the next day. The next time I went in my nails were lumpy and bumpy and looked awful not to mention the polish was streaky and all over my skin. I had mentioned I was unhappy but she never seemed to care. *Sunny nails is a fabulous place! I'm sad I didn't come here sooner. I had gone to Super nails and tan a few times before, and they BUTCHERED my hands every time. They hurt for 2-3 days after I got solar every time, and they were uneven and sloppy. I had to touch them up every time. But here at Sunny nails, the ladies took fabulous care of me, and their efforts and attention to detail did not escape me! Su or whatever her name is rude. i will never go back there. I came in with my 4 teenage girls, we wasn't welcomed at all. We were just standing and sitting down for over 30 mins before anyone answered us about prices. And no one answered us clearly about the prices. but because it was raining we decided to be a little more patient. One customer that was sitting in a pedicure chair said that she's leaving. This customer stayed she made an appointment but she still haven't been waited on, while her feet we sitting in water. Su the owner walked over and physically tried to pull the lady's shoes and socks back off, begging her to stay. Then Su walked over another customer and told her to leave while in the middle of doing the lady's nails. and told her, she's the reason that lady left. Remind you my children is right there. Su started shouting and running towards the door. She over priced us, and gave us horrible attitude. Only thing i liked about this place is Su's mother. she was so nice and attentive. read more

I've only been here once and to get my eyebrows waxed.. The lady did a fabulous job on them! I've been to numerous other salons in Brenham and Sunny Nails does them the BEST. My eyebrows were perfect when she was done with them, I didn't have to go back and pluck stray hairs like I would at the other salons which defeats the point of going to pay money for waxing! I will never go here again. I usually go to Nails by HL but decided to try here when they were extremely busy. I requested the most expensive pedicure because I am pregnant and my feet had been killing me. The lady sat down with a bad attitude, never greeted me, or even made eye contact with me. She started blazing through my pedicure, did not take the time to get my cuticles are shape my nails or anything. When she got to the part where they scrub the dead skin off your feet I asked her to spend a little more time on my heal because they really need it, she sighed and rolled her eyes. She then pushed my foot up in the air and said "you hold" Indicating she wanted me to hold my foot up. Really? I don't mind helping but usually they assist you a bit so you don't just have to hold your whole leg up. Even then she barely did what I requested. She cut two of my tows while cutting my toe nails with the same dirty ass tools she just used on someone else. The massage and every other enhancement I ordered during the treatment was horrible, the massage was a joke, she barely touched my feet and def not my heal which is the whole reason I ordered it in the first place. Then another lady comes to do my manicure while she was doing my pedicure and she was at least very kind. She did not cut my cuticles down either so I spent all that money and did not even get what I needed done done. The nail polish started flaking of in huge chunks the same day. Let me start off by saying DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I have been here a few times but today was by far the worst experience. As soon as I walked in every worker seemed like they were in a terrible mood. The young lady that did my toes was talking crap about everyone and pointing at them. She shoved the black light on my toes and messed them up several times. when done I asked if someone could clean up my eyebrows a little bit.. BIG MISTAKE!! Chow insisted on me getting my nails done too. When I declined she became very annoyed with me. As soon as I sat down to get my eyebrows waxed she was slopping hot wax into my face. Not even looking at what she was doing nor did she take her time and actually TRY! She needed up ripping The entire top of my eyebrow off. Then when she asked if I liked them I nicely told her one eyebrow was very thin and she became irate with me saying it was MY fault and that's how my eyebrows already were... Really?? I can assure you my eyebrows have never been thin! I have never had such horrible customer service. I didn't want to pay for the wax at all but didn't want to cause a scene so I paid my bill and left her a tip reflecting the service that I had. She began to yell out as I left in front of everyone in the salon what I paid. SHES LUCKY SHE GOT ANYTHING FROM ME! This place is honestly the worst in brenham! read more
