Specifically, Misty was wonderful and we were super happy with her service. Her reports were very detailed and I can tell that our cats were happy hanging out with Misty too. However, this review is more on Scott who runs the business. I've asked Scott's pet service company three times. And for two out of three I had negative experience with the way Scott behaved or talked to me. I'd give 1 star to Scott's behavior, due to a disappointing experience that I had interacting with him. Scott's negative attitude and lack of respect made me uncomfortable. The way he talks is as if he is the guardian of all the cats in the world and he knows more about our cats than we do Scott gave me the impression that he tries to bust me, or initimidate and undermine me. A good sitter should respect the owner's wishes and follow their routines that they have established through years of living and loving their cats. But what I saw from Scott was completely opposite. He kept interfering with our routines and trying to undermine our decisions. The way he behaves is as if we have to report to him for the decisions and routines that we have for our cats with whom we've had the pleasure of living for over 3 years. This is not acceptable. He should more mindful of the way he interacts & talks with people and respect their privacy and routines.

As I said in my earlier review, in one of the early meetings Susan taught Bud to go up the ramp we had by the side of the bed. That was a training challenge that had elluded us. Within the first 2 minutes of coming to the house on the very first day, she got on the floor with Bud and he immediately came to her and started licking her face. He usually barks at strangers. We knew from that moment on that Bud would be happy and well cared for. Susan has come to stay for three long weekends since April and everything has been perfect each time. We especially love the 'good morning' and 'good night' photos of Bud that she sends by phone while we are away. We now go away with absolute confidence and know that our baby is being well cared for.

I spoke with my husband on each and he agreed with me, DOTR was the best sounding. We reached out, told them about our beautiful 5 yr old Great Dane. They did the research within the company to find a best fit. Carter came out to our home after some communication. He LOVED our dog, she loved him. Carter and his wife were hooked and accepted her with open arms. The day to leave was here. She got a bit anxious seeing our luggage. My husband drove her a short distance over and dropped her off. She loved it, and they were so loving right back. We had updates regularly, both in email and pictures. It looked like she was on vacation. We are booking again for Thanksgiving this year. Unfortunately, Carter is not available, but they connected us with Madeline. We already know that this is going to be a great experience for Madeline and our pup (6 yr old at that time).
