Its not an apartment complex, but a rooming house. The rent is reasonable, with a large kitchen, & bathrooms upstairs & down. Of course, being a woman, I always think there can be more bathroom space, ha, ha! The kitchen is commercial style, with 2 microwaves & 2 stoves. Large sink area, & many refrigerators. If there are no vacancies, you'll likely share a frig with 1 other person. I was spoiled when I lived there & had my own frig the majority of the time. Towards the end I had to share & it was hard to whittle down the food. The people who lived there the same time as me were generally good people & we looked out for each other. We had a tight knit community. Before I had moved in, I had stereotyped the place through what i had heard through the years, but that was a mistake that inly hurt me at first. Once I had put my application in & eventually moved in, I was pretty gobsmacked at the difference in my first opinion, & then how things actually were. A lot of that has to do with the manager, Marshall Fulweider. Hes a friend now, & I miss him since ive moved. ( I finally got in to a low income apartment, & am immensely grateful for that. Being a senior, its nice to have my own place again. The waiting lists are soooo long in our county!) ​I've been gone a year now, & there's new owner's. They were refurbishing the place & id love to see it now. I had one of the largest rooms, with 2 windows, & it was pretty darn quiet. If you need some place to go, & cant get into an apartment yet, this is a great place to stay. The rent has gone up some, but I guess that's everywhere. I hope the Ridgeview is always there to continue to help people who need some place quick, or just NEED somewhere. Because being homeless is the pitts! I went from building my own home, & having a great job, to going through a divorce & becoming homeless. I was way too trusting & my x stole my money. Oh well, id rather be trusting, & loving, than be cynical & hate everyone. Other than nosy neighbors I like living in this complex. its very pretty and close to losts of shopping. Right around the corner from Grocery Outlet, and Save Mart.
