Putting that bias aside, this restaurant is when I go to whenever I'm back visiting my hometown. They have a menu that works for Vegetarians pescatarians, and meat lovers alike. The service is always friendly. They make excellent cocktails. And their food is excellent. I particularly loved their salads. I added Salmon to one of their regular items and I had people walking up to me and asking what it was. It was so delicious. Without the carpet, it's also extremely loud. The reconfiguration of the dining room was also very weird. So the atmosphere is just not what it used to be. I don't know why they gave that up. I know carpet is not easy to maintain but still. It's just a really not great vibe inside. That being said, they still make the best damn pizza. It was everything I remembered. I don't know how they do their crust better than anywhere else in the Midwest or beyond. It was so very, very good. Loved it wish I could eat that pizza more often.
