My new favorite crystal shop! Today was my second time coming to this location. Owner is extremely helpful, kind, and has such great energy. I found everything I was looking for and more. I found and evil eye bracelet that was simply perfect. I wanted to get another one for my significant other but there was only one on the floor. I asked the owner if there was anymore in the back and she said they were handmade so she would have to make it. YOU GUYS, she made it while I was at the store! I told her I need sage she then told me she will help me out even though they were closed. Drove over and she walked right out and handed me the sage and I paid her. Is hidden gem is a great little shop. Has a great selection of crystals and other related spiritual stuff. They also have readings and I believe classes. Parking is very limited also this place seems to get very busy. I've only been to a hand full of times. Mostly right before opening. Recently learning since this pandemic hit that I am an empath. I have to protect my energy field. So as of late I've been to these types of shops a lot more often. I am a couple years late on this review but this place is a gem in the heart of Downey. I used to come here when I was feeling really down and I would leave feeling so much better! The owners really interact and try to connect with their customers, they always sensed when I wasn't feeling 100% and would give me free mini tarot readings and healings when I was paying for my items. ANGELA Startling was so on point. She gave me information about my dad who passed away this past thanksgiving holiday season. The messages she gave were very healing. So much pain and feelings of guilt were lifted off my heart and mind. Messages from my great grandmother, grandmother and my mom was also amazing and years of feeling unloved was finally a feeling of love. I know my family members are watching over me and protecting me. They even said my daughter would be pregnant before I knew it. Walked in here on my way to yoga. The place has a nice selection of crystals. The lady was welcoming but annoyed when I would ask her questions about the crystals. They also offer workshops, readings and other healing services. This lil place is a gem. I've also gone to a workshop here with Cynthia and it was a delight to know her and receive guidance on how to grow mediumship if it is of interest for you. The staff here are so welcoming, and very friendly. I have purchased several necklaces to help with my thyroid which I find to be helpful. I give it a 3 because their crystals/incense holders and other products are very nice & for a reasonable price, also good variety. However there was a really hostile lady at the register, she was short, had short hair and had prescription glasses on, she made me and my family feel very unwelcome during our visit. Her eyes were on us our entire time we shopped and she continued to look at us like we were idiots when asking normal questions about certain smudges. A simple smile could have changed the mood that she gave us our entire visit. Ugly feeling going in & leaving & and I'm sure she knows the energy she is giving off. read more

off the bat i had a very bad experience with one of the cashiers very rude, i was looking around the shop for about 5min gathering a few items that i was going to purchase i asked her nicely if i could put my items in the counter she told me no that they had baskets at the front, so i went to the front grabbed one and continued shopping not even 2min later another lady asked her the same question and with no hesitation says yes? i ignored it and continued shopping as i was going to checkout the item the crystals were labeled to 5$-7$ she said the items were marked wrong and priced them a much higher price i was very confused as i was going to pay for them she told me they didn't accept the card i was using even though i used the same card about a month ago never shopping here, don't waste your money read more
