I give this 3/5 because there's a little art shop in back where I got some very cute crafting supplies. There was a great variety of antique skeleton keys and very beautiful crafting paper. The lady who worked that section was very kind. And this might sound strange, but the bathroom was pretty neat! There are better antique stores in GB, but this one does have a good location. It's appropriately located in the historic Platten Place Building, which is in the heart of the Broadway-Dousman Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You can tell it's someplace special when you step on the mosaic tile entryway. After all, in modern construction, why have a striking and unique entryway, tiled in mosaics, when you can have a plain ol' concrete slab that's just like your driveway, without the oil spots? The screen door slams shut, pulled by a long spring like the one on Great-Grandma's screen door. Once inside, you go on sensory overload with so much eye candy you're not sure where to look next. Old light fixtures, paned windows like Pella hasn't made in decades, reclaimed doors and hardware, furniture, signs, and some new artwork by local artisans. There's even the hood from a Volkswagen Beetle hanging on the wall, like a stuffed head trophy from a hunt by Robosaurus. The shop has been open since the summer of 2018 and is an outgrowth of a design firm called Drury Design. This is the kind of place you might see featured on "This Old House" but you don't have to go to Boston, you can see it all in Green Bay. Look for the old truck doors on the sidewalk. Stop in, even if you're not doing a project and I know you'll see something you just can't live without. Bring your truck or trailer!

The place quite literally stinks. You might get a little musty smell when entering a shop that…read moresells old things, but this was more than a little musty. There is a bar that shares the building, but this was not food smell, it was more like animal urine and mold. When I made it to the back part of the store where there is a second room, it got worse. That was enough to get me to leave, however, I am thankful I was not in a wheelchair because there is no way I would have been able to see most of the store. Paths were very narrow, nearly impassible in some places.

The clothes are organized but there isn't a lot of signage/it's hard to see so it can be a little difficult to get oriented when you are looking for something. The primary room is packed with stuff so it's a tight fit if you're shopping when they're busy (especially if you're wearing a winter coat). If you sell clothing to them, you can either get cash or save it to use as credit - I believe you get 10% more if you choose in-store credit.

Service innitially was good I thought , they low balled me really badly on a pawn loan for a .22…read morerifle , it was a 400+ dollar item and the gave me 75.00 on a loan do I thought np I could just pay it back easy and pick it back up because I have a clean record and have purchased guns several times through dunhams and other firearms sellers like Virlee gunworks . I went to pay off and pickup and they started the background and it got a delay as they sometimes do so I waited and waited then called back and they said no update , waited another week they said still no update still in delay , mind you they are perfectly able to either call again for an update or bypass it because the 3day wait was well beyond and it is completely their choice if they want to return the gun or not , but why would they ? They get to keep a 400 dollar gun for 75 what a deal eh ? I will call them one more time and if this isn't settled I will be contacting a firearms rights lawyer and persuing actions . This is just scummy behavior and I understand once the gun is in their posession it is their discretion but they is very obviously purposely done for monitary gain or just plain ignorance , I have NO record and I was always very patient with them , no raising of voice or anything erraric that would ever suggest they would have cause to keep my firearm . I have already contacted nics about this and the first thing they asked was "did the shop call us back" us meaning nics , they had not . This is bad even for a pawn shop .
