Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

The parking situation: On street parking, a free lot behind the store. And a huge lot that runs half the length of the street behind the buildings accross the street. Despite all the parking, there can sometimes be a shortage of parking. Just drive around a bit and something will open up. The store: The display in the window is fabulous. Retro chic. Cute, sophisticated, beautiful Content: Overwhelming when you first walk in. There's a lot of stuff. Not in a junk store jammed shelves. Just in a lots of individual cool things. Jewellery, scarves, books, dishes, pottery, furniture. They have a few rooms of goods. You can tell by looking that the owners love this place. Everything looks like its picked out and placed with care. There is a little bit of something for everyone. Varied price range. I love this place. I think I'll be spending a lot of time and money here!!

His vinyl is always of excellent quality and his selection changes so frequently that I have missed out on some gems in the past. His CD wall has grown since he sold that beautiful Seeburg juke box: (shame shame Keith). Oh yes, let's not forget the great coffee and large selection of different teas. And last but not least, Keith supports local artists by displaying paintings on his walls. On Sundays, he invites local musicians to perform for those who venture in between 12:00 and 17:00. All in all, one of my favourite spots on the Lake Shore. P.S. Bring in your vinyl and Keith with WASH it for a pittance. The difference will amaze you!

It's really nice that if you are looking for something they don't have, you can create an account on their site and save your search so that you will be informed if it comes in to any store. It's also nice that they will transfer your items to any store you wish for free for pickup. It's unfortunate though, that quality control is pretty poor across the chain. I've ordered CDs and received discs that are scuffed or otherwise less than mint. Yes, their business is in used merchandise and used merchandise is often not perfect, but there is no disclosure of condition at all. They seemingly cater to collector types, so I think that is an omission that should be addressed.
