Aside from this super fun event, the ranch offers riding lessons for kids and adults, you can host parties, they offer summer camp for kids, and other special events such as a yoga with horses!

The large parking lot was filled with vendors selling a variety of items. I picked up several useful and cool things very inexpensively. The Tamarac Recreation Center is located in Tamarac Park. The Recreation Center with has offices while the park has baseball fields, a covered playground, concession stand, restrooms, and picnic tables. Adjacent to the Tamarac Park Recreation Center is the Tamarac Multipurpose Center. The facility has a gymnasium, meeting rooms, teen council, art room, restroom, and locker rooms. Tamarac stages many events at these facilities and the park throughout the year. For a full listing of vents check the Parks and Recreation section on the Tamarac city website or follow parks and rec on Instagram and Facebook. An upcoming event is the 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. This is a great resource for the residents of Tamarac and its visitors.

An orange tubular metal bike rack artistically shaped like an Ibis bird is available near the parking lot and was donated by AARP. The kiddie water park is named Cypress Marsh Splash Pad was not in use today. Visited here today with my wife and had a good experience and was satisfied with the cleanliness of the park.

The half mile walking trail was nice with butterflies flying around. The bathroom was very clean with a maintenance woman working inside. The amenities were nice with a splash park and covered bbq grilling area. It is strongly noted that dogs are not allowed. Not sure when the front gates close but it is a nice park to visit for quiet time or with the kids.

The park is located in a beautiful neighborhood, right across the street from the library, making it a perfect spot for families. It's spacious, lush, and green with plenty of trees providing shade--great for both play and relaxation. Whether you're there for a picnic, to let the kids burn off some energy, or just to enjoy the outdoors, there's more than enough to keep everyone happy. The park does close on Wednesday mornings for landscaping but reopens at noon. On weekends, it definitely gets more traffic, but it never feels overwhelming thanks to the space and layout. If you're looking for a clean, fun, and family-friendly park in Plantation, this is it!

The facility is well kept, the hours are flexible and extend into the mid-evening, and the pricing is very reasonable. I only pay about $3 per visit, which makes it an excellent value overall. There's a weight lifting area but I've yet to use but from the outside looking in it appears clean! This location also has a playground and a batting area!
