I love this park! My son seems to like it too :D It's always clean, they have four+ different areas for your kids to play in. Including a water zone. A restroom and plenty of parking. Also few kiosk that I believe you can rent. Just no alcohol or food I think is allowed.

What a whimsical park! This play space is 2.5 acres of sheer childhood delight. The park's design came from the imagination of Planation Landscape Architect Jeffrey Siegel. Sadly he passed away before the park was completed but his legacy lives in the happy smiles of the children playing at the park. At the entrance to the park is a tree and squirrel sculpture designed by artist Davis Serrano who also designed the log benches in the park. Inside the park are three playground areas for different age groups. The forest theme is continued throughout the park with tree houses, grizzly bears, and tree swings. In the center of the park is a splash pad which is a wonderful addition to help children cool down in the Florida heat.

This park is hidden back in a neighborhood off Fig Tree Lane heading north on the road. We have family members who have had kids birthday parties here. The park has a few playground areas, pavilions to rent with picnic tables, and a splash pad in the middle. You can also bring a blanket and grab a spot on the ground or under a tree. On our most recent visit, it was nice to see all the families spending time together and the parties for different occasions. The splash pad makes being outside tolerable. We had started off at Central Park, and it was so hot and humid outside we made our way over to Plantation Woods to break up the day and do something different than swimming in the pool. The splash pad is a huge win! Great local spot!

One of the best parks in Broward, especially for little kids. Why: - Free all the time - Quiet nice neighborhood feels tucked away - Superb playground design with natural features made to look like playing in natural woods - Several different playground areas and swingsets - Great little splashpad with lots of features - Lots of shady trees and a few pavilions close to playground make it easy to monitor kids and stay cool - Grassy areas for a picnic away from the play area - Diverse mix of families with good vibes Downsides: - Some part of the playground is always in need of maintenance - Can get like a zoo in the summer and weekend afternoons - go in the morning if you can.

My 2 year old daughter had a really good time in this park. It's extra clean and has a lot of slides and swings. There are a few shades with tables which will be great for a family and friends get together. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

One of my favorite parks but definitely has the nicest playground and cleanest grass. It is a neighborhood park so it's not as big as a cb smith or ty park. But it has everything you need with kids. Love love love it

I enjoy the early morning stroller walks with my granddaughter because during the weekdays there is no charge to enter and park to walk the trails. There is a very nice indoor/outdoor pavilion that is often rented for special events. There are multiple area for both child play under a covered playground and a covered area for adults to use the manual workout machines. The wide open space is great for horses to get a nice ride and to rinse off at the watering areas. The lakes and streams are filled with wild life that is indigenous to the area. Just taking a walk and listening to the sounds of nature is truly calming. On the weekends this county park gets very loud and crowded but because the park is so massive, there is always a place to relax.

As a spooky girl, the Banyan tree captured my fancy. It's stood tall and majestic with its hanging vines forming a shelter like structure. At the time of my visit, there were a few ladies sitting under it getting ready for a drumming circle. We watched for a bit before moving on. The park has loop trails. It's easy to follow via the trails app. It's a great place for hikes, long walks or for just taking a break from people. The kids would love it here as well. We walked past a few play grounds and biking trails. I plan on taking the kids back soon for some fun. 10/10 as far as parks are concerned.

Today less than a 100 acres of citrus remain and there are no commercial citrus producers in South Florida. The park was named after Math Igler Citrus Grove, a citrus grove and packing house that had been in operation in Davie since the 1950s. The land that was the grove is now a housing development and this park. After the packing house was dismantled, equipment including scrubber sections which cleaned the fruit; the sorting section, where workers pulled the fruit that was too small for shipping; the wax and dryer, to polish the fruit; and, the bin area to prepare the fruit for shipping were donated to the Davie Schoolhouse Museum for an exhibit on agriculture and citrus packing. You can learn more about Math Igler and the other citrus groves that once called Davie home at the museum. The 1.5 acre park has two play structures with stairs and slides. The tops of the play structures have orange trees and there's an orange juice stand that children can play in. There there are also paved walkways, benches, and a pavilion with picnic tables and grill. There is also an ADA accessible swing. The large trees in the park provide welcome shade. This is a very nice place to take the kids to play and I like how it's dedicated to the history of the citrus land it sits on.

I got there as they opened, 8am on the weekends. The course starts on the far end of the park so you get to take in the park on the way there. Ducks and geese love this place. They are all over the place. The lake that takes up the middle of the park is postcard perfect. You can't really blame the birds for liking it. When we play the course it gives you a chance to see alot of the park. The course covers almost everything east to west. One of the really neat things is the burrowing owl really likes this park. They are located at at least 4 spots I have been by. They are unique not just for nesting underground, but that they have alot of attitude. There is one couple of birds that are the 16th tee box who hiss at you while you play. Including the bird encounters, Its a great park, whether disc golfing, or bird spotting.
