I was OFFERED a more inclusive massage but I think that had more to do with how I was a new customer and she wanted to let me know the different options available; it was definitely NOT an upsell! Let me say, I've had a few doctors remark on how my "supraspinatal" muscles (above the shoulder blades) are like cement: very tight, very stiff and contribute to my neck pain; this can happen from a busy daily life, a bad mattress, etc .. I happen to have a chronic disorder that causes it so it's not an easy fix.. Well Lucy, the masseuse, found all the trigger points underneath my cement-like muscles and very patiently, very thoroughly, worked on them with perfect pressure, and I almost melted into the table with relief-- I'm going to sleep very well tonight, something I haven't been able to do for a long while now! I want to come back ASAP and get a foot massage (I didn't get one today because my feet are in dire need of a pedicure) and when I do, I'll definitely report back to share the details! I called my insurance company several times and they stated every appointment had been paid. Satori argued stating no payments were received from insurance. After several weeks Satori found out from her billing company that in fact insurance company had paid as stated but none of the payments were posted. If Satori would have taken the time to look into the issue, she would have found out there was no issue!!!! But instead, Satori refused to let her massage therapists provide treatment. When Satori's notification system had a glitch and she was notified, she did nothing. Several people received notification that they had no upcoming appointments including me. No show fee was applied due to company error and services were once again interrupted until massage therapist waived 'no show ' fee. I had also purchased a red light therapy package hoping that would help alleviate pain. Satori constantly would cancel appointments last minute so this didn't help. One morning Satori called stating she wasn't coming into the office to provide the service because she wasn't done packing for her camping trip - total lack of professional and no concern for the client!!!!! I got a referral to one of the many other massage therapy companies in Whatcom County that accepts my insurance. I still had 8 visits left on my referral but decided to go to another well known local provider that actually cares about their clients!!!

Since I had had a baby within the year, I had met my out of pocket max for medical and this clinic was within my insurance network, so I definitely should not have owed anything. I called my insurance, and they said they had covered 100% of my visits. So when I called the clinic to explain this, Dr. Constantin said that she needed to "stay in business" and that it didn't matter that I had met my out of pocket max. When I asked what the charges were for I didn't get a straight answer. I tried to re-explain and was shut down. I realized after the phone conversation and looking over the statement again that the charges she was saying I was responsible for were basically for no reason and were fees she was adding to my bill after she charged my insurance so she could get more money. I wrote an email to the clinic explaining yet again that I would need her to send the final charges to my insurance since I've met my out of pocket max and the response I got was "please find another chiropractor". Needless to say, if you want to be swindled out of money for chiropractic care you can go here, but I would definitely not recommend it. The whole thing seems like insurance fraud to me.

She chats and made the entire initial assessment and adjustment so comfortable and pleasant. I definitely felt so much better after today and we both scheduled a follow up in a week. I believe a good chiropractor is key to a healthy mind and body and I feel we have found a great one.
