I called to book a full set for gel nails and not only is Sunsationails one of the only nail salons that opens really early, they got me in the same day. I wanted to do fun Halloween themed (almond shaped) gel nails for a Photoshoot I was in, but then when I found a review on yelp and photo of the pink and white almond ombré nails. I got a manicure and I also got my nails painted. The girl that did my nails was nice and seemed to know what see was doing. I liked her. But I'd say a hour after being home I notice this happening to my nails. Like is this what I get for $30 and leaving her a $7 tip. Love the pedicures at this place . It's very quiet and relaxing . This place is family owned And operated and every single one of them are super good and very nice . They also have jewelry and a cute collection of clothes they bring in from california for sale. I'd say the prices for services are on the higher end but they use higher end product so you get what you pay for. . read more

I've heard the pros and cons of this place from many people so I thought I'd try it. I booked an appointment and everything was great but ended up having to cancel due to unexpected circumstances. Upon calling in to cancel, I called 4 times and every time some male would pick up and hang up after I stated my name. Extra rude, Hella irritating and I'm never gonna try them now. read more

I've gone to this nail shop for many years now and have come to the point where it's time for a new shop. It's a husband a wife team that own and run the shop, with the mother-in-law also working there. I am having three main problems. First, the wife (Holly) is always 20 minutes to an hour behind schedule every time I go in. So they "suggested" if I don't like to sit around waiting I should call ahead to see how far behind she is running. Of course, she never tells me accurately so I end up waiting even when I do go at the time she says to get there. Second problem is that it takes her two hours to do a backfill with pink and white. She files by hand and is constantly on her cell phone texting other people, or helping walk-in customers in their boutique area when she is supposed to be working on me. The last problem which made me decide to leave is that she and her husband (Scott) will take spur of the moment vacations without giving any prior notice to their clients. This leaves us hanging without being able to get our nails done. She did this to me on July 3rd. Called from California to say she couldn't do my nails that day. So sorry, her husband took her on a surprise trip for her birthday. Said she could do me the following Tuesday (today) but didn't know what time. Would call me next week when she got home. So....... I waited all day Monday for her to call. Finally at 5 p.m. I got fed up and called her. She was rude on the phone, said she was too busy all day to call me, and by the way now she can't do my nails until Wednesday, hope that was okay. Why should it be okay to put off my nails for 6 days from my original appt? This was the 4th time she has done this to me, these little trips out of town. I'm tired of this unprofessional behavior. If they want to take a trip they need to let the clients know in advance and get everyone new appts. up front. So, I told her how I felt and she got very defensive, made excuses, etc. It's obvious they don't care about their clients. Their marriage is on the rocks and maybe they are trying to patch things up, but the clients shouldn't have to be inconvenienced in the process. read more
