In addition, they had to order the chairs I purchased and they weren't in yet. They also make you pay for delivery which I think is ridiculous. My couch was delivered before my chairs and the delivery man, which is one of the owners, was extremely rude to me. I like to shop local, but I will never shop at this store again. I ended up buying bar chairs at the Ashley store in Orchard Park and received free delivery on the guaranteed date and much friendlier staff all around.

I talked to many people, read tons of reviews and then was even more confused about what makes a great, long lasting, well built, good looking shed... On Craigslist, I happened upon an nondescript ad that I checked out, just as I had many others. I was VERY pleasantly surprised at the quick response to my gazillion (really) questions. Patient and thorough answers, photos of not only the shed in question, which happened to be already built, but also offers to customize different sizes if necessary, photos of insides and outside, roof shots, moving shots so I could determine if it could be delivered. They were concerned with helping me get the right product. Obviously, they need to make a living, but they were not trying to make their whole week's salary from my one purchase. I have since recommended them to anyone who talks to me about getting a shed, given out their contact info as well. the delivery process took maybe a half hour, but probably less. I already had a concrete pad where a garage had been removed, so I only had to make sure it was swept of debris. If you want a seamless, professionally built Amish shed, these are the folks to contact. the sheds come primed and ready to paint the colors you prefer. My attached photos are before I apply my paint. This is an 8' X 10' better quality shed. I did purchase their "better quality" shed so that my maintenance requirements are minimal. They said that even their regular/good quality would just need painting every few years to last many, many years. The better quality sheds only need painting every 10- 15 years. I don't know if that claim is true, but everything else they told me took place just as described, so I am choosing to believe this as well. I recommend doing business with this company. They are not the actual builders, but they have a relationship with the builders and will customize orders for whatever your needs are. Then they will use this ingenious machine and trailer to professionally deliver!!

We were in the market for a new futon a few months back and did some internet searching before settling on Otis as the best source for what we needed. The only wrinkle was that we needed the futon quickly and the online retailers we were looking at all had long lag times. Googling Otis bedding some more we discovered that their manufacturing plant is here in Buffalo. We called them, explaining what we were in the market for and what our schedule was. They were very helpful and we ended up with the futon we wanted a few days later. The futon came packed in an improbably small box, but when we opened it up the futon expanded quickly to full size. We ordered a harder model and it is extremely comfortable. When you hear "Buy Local" you don't always think of mattresses and futons, but here in Buffalo you actually can get great bedding and support local manufacturing jobs.
