They are located in a cute food truck area at a former car wash along with two other food trucks. They have covered seating area for people who don't want to take their food to go. I tried The Local acai bowl. It was delicious with strawberries bananas and blueberries . Perfect for a hot day with the cold acai. I ordered the small size, which was huge. I probably should have chosen the youth size because I had a lot left over. Great place. Great location. There is parking, but if they are busy, it's hard to find a place.

Walk up food truck service at its finest. Service is great, place your order and they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food will be ready. The food itself was lovely, ordered the Hang Ten plus mango sans coconut shavings, delish! Ordered the small but the kids size prob would have been perfect as this was a little rich on the peanut butter chocolate side. Parking can be tight when they get busy as the lines and wait. Seating is plentiful with live music (accordion player) and cornhole for while you wait. Would have given 4.5 if I could do halves but solid açaí bowl and we will be back!

We have come to Fort Walton beach for years for Thanksgiving and probably the thing we look forward to the most is going to Gold's Gym in the morning and getting an açaí bowl right after. I've been to Hawaii and eaten bowls there but Sunset bowls are the absolute best. Over the years they've stayed the same size and are always packed with ingredients; they're perfect.

Also, it's popular and workers are only able to accommodate 3-4 orders at a time, so expect to wait if there is a line.

An absolute must try! This is a FWB staple. I love the locals bowl with bee pollen as a fancy touch. The staff are always so sweet and welcoming and they get the food out super quick. There is a cute outdoor patio feel right in the heart of downtown with plenty of seating and umbrellas. The only bummer is the parking is not super extensive but prime location on Miracle is great for walking. read more

Sunset Bowls and Coffee Avenue is a must stop while visiting Destin. There are multiple food trucks with great options. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating to enjoy any meal of the day or to just hang out. I tried the Hang Ten Bowl and it was delicious. It was a great blend of real fruit with peanut butter, Nutella and cacao nibs. The entire site was extremely clean. read more

Sunset Bowls is an Acai Bowl and smoothie food truck located Downtown FWB! BEST ACAI BOWLS IN THE AREA. The base is delicious! Perfect balance between sweet, smooth, and icy. I'm picky with my acai bowls and this is as delicious as ones I've had in Hawaii! (Waikiki) The fruits are always fresh! The three food trucks always have amazing vibes, seating, and good music. Sosososo good!!! Absolutely recommend if you're in the Destin/Fort Walton Area. One thing I loved about the bowl was that the granola was layered throughout, so there was still some left after the toppings were all gone. There was a bit of a wait when we went on a Sunday around noon, but it was absolutely worth it! Parking around the corner from the library on Ferry Rd SE by Parlor Donuts (which also looks amazing). First time coming here. The sizes are represented in front of the order window. This is an acai bowl food truck that is located in the intersection of Eglin Pkwy and First St. I've tried many many acai bowl places, and I would have to say this is up there. Most establishments blend the acai sorbet with other fruits, and you can only taste the fruits that are blended in. But for this place, you can actually taste the acai in their base, which is such a huge plus. Toppings are pretty classic, and you can switch out a topping for another to customize your bowl, too. This area also has other food trucks that sell brunch food, coffee, and crepes. So you really can have 3+ course meals right here at this spot :) read more

They sell different types of açaí bowls and service was alright. It takes a few minutes but it's worth the wait. This is my second time here. The first time I don't remember being blown away. It was a first for us experiencing an açaí bowl. We got a large bowl and shared as a family. Decided to give it another try, I was craving something sweet and refreshing. Opted for a kid size bowl and the Hang Ten was perfect for me with strawberries, banana, coconut, cacao nibs, Nutella, peanut butter and granola. I think I could eat this every day. read more

Stopped in today for the first time. I spotted the Hang Ten bowl and was locked in on the Peanut Butter and Nutella in the same bowl. As soon as I dug in I fell in love with this bowl.
