The service was phenomenal, the prices were good considering everything offered in the menu is organic, and everything was tasty. I went with a cheeseburger topped with onion and Swiss cheese. Just finished up my meal at Cafe Organic and my tummy couldn't be happier! The vibe in the place is chill and low key. I ate the grass-fed beef cheeseburger with roasted veggies, to drink I had the ginger plum flavored water. For a refreshing treat I also had the Sweet N Green smoothie with added honey because I never trust that smoothies are actually sweet enough for me to feel like I'm cheating. ‍ It's lunchtime and the place isn't super crowded which is nice, but this place is definitely off the beaten path. As a newly planted "local" I thoroughly enjoy avoiding all the tourist crowds. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I'm not too much of a talker today so I say quietly and observed the chef and cashier make small talk with others at the counter. They were all smiles as they exchange witty repartee with the customers at the counter. One of my favorite features is the tables which are hand-painted and colorful! This place uses grass-fed meats, pesticide free plants/vegetables and everything else made natural. They're a small business, tucked away from the industrial areas in a little side road. It almost looks like they were a house first. They have different specials all the time, but their traditional stuff is really good. I'd you're visiting the area for a week, have at least one meal here. I ordered their shepherds pie that came with Cole slaw. The meal was delicious and at a great price. I love a good chicken salad, they have one of the best chicken salads on garden salad bar none!!! All greens were fresh and crispy, not over dressed as some tend to do, they accented the natural flavor of the greens and vegetables not burying the flavor. I always drive by it but never tried it before. Me and my best friend decided to come here one day to try it out. There are a lot of different items on the menu like salads, sandwiches, smoothies, etc. They post specials up on the wall daily. I decided to get the portobello burger. It had avocado, tomato, some greens, and cheese on it. It was super tasty, however, kind of small for the portion. It came with a side of their vegetable soup which was okay in my opinion. Added a little bit of salt and hot sauce to it and it was better. I enjoyed the portobello mushroom as it was juicy. Every bite I took had juices falling down, which is a sign of a good burger. It was an overall fresh and light burger. Burgers can tend to be a little heavy but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It is on the pricier side and I ended paying at least $10 for my burger, but it was worth it as the ingredients were very fresh. My friend had the zucchini lasagna that day and she thought it was delicious as well. I knew it was good because if she doesn't like a certain food, she will not finish it. Her plate was cleared! I tried their iced coffee with agave nectar and enjoyed it. However, make sure you give it a good stir as the nectar tend to settle down at the bottom of the cup. You don't want to drink a handful of the nectar. I also like their energy cookies (which consists of dried fruit and a variety of nuts) and energy brownie bites. Pretty tasty! The owner is super sweet. She was very friendly, as well as the staff. They were very informative on their food, so ask away! They were able to answer any questions that I had. read more

Glad I found this little place BOOKMARKED in my yelp app. Before coming to this place I checked out their website to get a feel for what they offered. Turns out they also have a nearby yoga studio and a CO-Op grocery type program. When I came, I arrived 30 minutes before opening hours so I took a nap in their parking lot and surprised they didn't call the cops on me but they humored me. I ordered their chocolate banana type smoothie and it tasted delicious!! They grinded up some caocao which left some bits of chocolate to chew on between sips of yummy banana and almond milk combination. They also offer organic veggie/vegan dishes for lunch but I didn't have a chance to try it out that day. The shop itself is very clean, it has that namaste vibe oozing from its decor to the way the room is shaped. In a corner of the store they have a small co-op grocery program where they bring in a variety of veggies and cheeses from local grown farmers on different days that you are assigned to. It's $50 to sign up and ranging from how big a tub you want to order you can get a bi-weekly pick up for $25 (half tub) or $50 (full tub). You don't get to pick what veggies that go in the tub but you also have the opportunity to learn how to cook different types of foods that you wouldn't normally get at the local publix or winn dixie. It's great for people who are looking for a cheap alternative to get healthy foods in your house every two weeks. While you're there definitely check that out and try one of their yummy smoothies/juices. I'm hoping to one day try out their yoga program as well. It's about 15 minutes from Eglin AFB and no military discount but hey healthy is still worth it. read more

The selection of food is not to large, which means they must make these dishes very well. I have tried all the sandwiches on the menu. Their beet side dish is delicious. During lunch you have the option of a salad or soup. For the portions it is rather expensive in the local area but the food is organic and locally sourced. It is a give and take. The best smoothie is the chocolate chip almond but it's in a 12 oz container, not enough for $6. Most of those ingredients do not cost more than $5, so you pay a huge difference. Steer clear and don't bother trying it. Also be aware that the tea is not free, they'll charge you two dollars without notifying you that it is extra, $2 to be exact. Overall good service and healthy food options. Highly recommend to anyone who is health conscious. read more

The veggie burger had good flavor but was mushy. The GF version of their sandwich was in a rice wrap which was nice and toasty but besides the mushy burger, and a slice of avocado, it had only 7 pieces of spinach (is lettuce that expensive?) and 2 small sliced tomatoes. This little gem of a cafe is kinda tucked away off the beaten path, but it is the JAM! I'm so happy I took the time to stop in and order lunch. I had the Southwest Wrap with a side salad. The wrap is vegetarian and absolutely delicious. All the veggies were perfect and you could have easily made two meals out of the portion size. I loved spices in the black bean hummus and the avocado and chipotle yogurt cream were fabulous. This preggo was very satisfied! For your consideration, I give you Cafe Organic. Slightly off the beaten path, Cafe Organic is aptly named. It is a quaint, unpretentious building in a quiet neighborhood serving delicious, healthy, organic foods. I believe I saw a vegetable co-op on site, and also noticed local honey, millet and other grains available for sale, but the menu was surprisingly expansive for a health food venue. In my vocabulary, "healthy" consists of eight variations of lettuce and bean sprouts. But I looked over the menu for several minutes before accepting the "Leap of Faith" lunch special, allowing Cafe Organic's skilled culinary team to create a dish for me based on pure inspiration,and they didn't disappoint. I even had a Deep Cleanse shot consisting of carrot, beet and wheat grass juices. Mmm, cleansing indeed. I found the value of this place to be right on par with a cafe offering healthy, organic fare that is even considerate enough to make chlorine-free ice cubes for my chlorine-free water. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I felt smugly self-righteous eating my healthy grilled portobello wrap while knowing that I would hypocritically dump frozen yogurt on top of it within the hour. One of only a handful of organic/ healthy options in the area. The food is more expensive but I don't mind paying more to have healthy options, for when I did not bring my own food to work. Work brought me down, a few blocks away from this little gem! I walked into to warmth and smiles. It was a quaint space and the service I received was amazing. Great, great place. This place has a large variety of fresh, unique, healthy food. They had a Crossfit and Paleo menu of various salads, all of which looked great simply judging by the ones on the table. The prices were exceptional as well. On my last visit I had the chicken salad sandwich with the chicken noodle soup. The chicken noodle soup was unique in that it had rice noodles, but it was fantastic! The location is off the beaten path per se, but not too hard to find. The staff was very courteous and the food came out fairly quick for being packed during a lunch hour.
