Enjoyed both the almond butter bowl (24oz) and tropical smoothie. Even better that it was 50% for their grand opening day weekend. There was a large portion of Açaí and fruit. Açaí was smooth and fresh tasting. Smoothie was refreshing, tasted great. Didn't taste much of the coconut milk in the smoothie. Açaí is from Sambazon. Thai tea is an option too but not listed on the menu. High chair is available.

We stopped in during the grand opening weekend and were glad we did! We tried the Nutella Açaí bowl, Tropical Pink Pitaya bowl, and a mango smoothie -- everything was fresh, flavorful, and such a treat with the fresh fruit, seeds and drizzles. The staff were absolutely rocking it and so sweet and patient since I couldn't make up my mind. They were happy to switch ingreditents. Everything on the menu sounded so good. They brought out some Thai tea for us to try - very tasty and refreshing. The space is clean, bright, and has a fun ocean/beach vibe. The grand opening discount was a nice bonus. Definitely will return especially on a hot day!

I love their Tropical Ube Paradise Bowl! It has the perfect amount of ube flavoring, granola, and fruits.

We stayed at the houseboats right near NB which was close enough for us to walk to. We all 3 got a bowl and NB has never disappointed us. I make my own- acai, blue majik, coconut and mango, banana, extra honey and coconut crumbles. The coconut crumbles are to die for. Love this location! Service was quick and friendly and the inside is always clean. Will definitely stop back when we are in the area.

Menu on the TV screens inside has such a small text size. Guess they expect customers to have eagle eyes. The menu is not exactly clear in what the toppings are. Only 2 table for seating. There is more bar type seating than tables. No outdoor seating. They have an app you can download. Assuming you can order through the app. You can see the bowl prepared in front of you. There are three different bowl sizes from 12oz ($8), 16oz ($11), and 24oz ($15). It's more expensive if you get their signature bowls versus build your own bowl. It was very busy on their grand opening day so waited just about half hour to order and almost 20 minutes to receive my order. Obviously the staff are still figuring it out, but you would think with 5 staff making the bowls it would have been quicker. Ordered the sail signature bowl and added granola since they gave out coupons for a free topping. The bowl wasn't that good. Not sure why they called a granola, because it was more like toasted Oats. The açaí was still in frozen chunks and the Chia seed glob was in a frozen chunk. The coconut butter crumbles were not impressive, more like crumbs. Well, at least the fresh fruit was fresh. Definitely better açaí bowls elsewhere so I wouldn't bother coming back here.

According to my Doordash I am an A1+ customer of this franchise restaurant…read more Typically, with businesses who care about customer retention, A1+ customers are treated well. If there's an issue it gets solved quickly. The Mayfair location of Playa Bowls does not care about customer retention. They would prefer to hire young and good looking women who are not the friendliest or the quickest problem solvers. I have ordered Doordash Playa 16 times in the last 20 days. Today was the first time I ever went in that store. Because I do not have my Doordash full ingredients memorized, I tried pulling up Doordash in the store. For whatever reason, it was not working. The pretty young girl behind the register could not care less and in fact seemed rather irritated. The other pretty young girl making my food did not understand what I was trying to tell them when I figured out that Doordash had marked their business as being closed. I made them aware of this but they didn't care. They suffered from an excruciating lack of curiosity and customer retention skills because I will not be spending any more money at the store. I'm gonna make my Doordash person go all the way over to the other one so they get the money. I promise you, when I stop ordering from your store you're gonna notice. Whoever manages or owns this location needs to consider hiring people based on their skills and experience with customer service. I know it's a beach town, but there are a lot of really talented young people out here. And all of them would be better than the pretty ladies you like to look at. That's why they got hired. ETA: Please do not let the responsive "manager" fool you. The service at that location is absolutely terrible. There were three young women working and probably 15 to 20 people in the store. The rudest woman at the register was on her phone most of the time I was in there. Don't go to this location. It sucks. It's slow and they always mess something up, I just left that out because I didn't want to be too harsh but since the manager has decided to respond, they forget a lot. When I DoorDash from this location, I usually have to remind them to include the smoothie because they have forgotten it five times. Five times on the DoorDash order of two items. I should be able to get my order under 10 minutes. That's not possible at this location, even if they aren't busy. Because the people who work there do not care about their jobs and it is very obvious as soon as you go into the store. Let's see what the manager responds to now. I guarantee the owner is male and hires young women under the age of 30 based on how much he likes to look at them, not their skill set. That is a lie that men believe believes themselves.

I definitely recommend this business! I cannot believe there are so many smoothie and fruit bowls…read moreto choose from. I love that you can choose different bases for your bowl and that they even have a sign that outlines the benefits of each. You can even do a mix of half and half. Service is very friendly and staff is knowledgeable. Because everything is made to order it does take a little bit, but it is so worth it. Love the decorations and decor inside. I am excited they are opening another location in the Monkey Junction area.
